She allegedly killed the children after they made her angry by jumping on the sofa.
A New Zealand jury on Wednesday found a south African woman guilty of murdering her three young daughters after rejecting her defense that she was so mentally ill at the time she couldn’t be held responsible.
Lauren Dickason, 42, had earlier admitted killing her 2-year-old twin daughters Maya and Karla, and their 6-year-old sister Lianè, at their home in the town of Timaru nearly two years ago.
She had pleaded not guilty to murder, arguing she was suffering severe depression that could be traced back to postpartum depression.
Prosecutors acknowledged Dickason had suffered from depression but said it wasn’t enough to warrant a medical defense. They said she killed her children out of anger and resentment.
They pointed to Dickason’s troubling phone messages and online history in the weeks before the killings, including comments about wanting to kill her children and Google searches for “most effective overdose in kids

Most people will fall to propaganda.
Some, because they are low IQ. But most, because they are weak of mind. Once they have been propagandized, they can not be convinced otherwise. The masses think they are resistant to propaganda or that they have not been propagandized already. But this is not true.
Those with autism, who are both high functioning and have a substantial level of intelligence, individuals with an IQ of 160 and above, people who are neurologicaly incapable of emotions, and individuals who are naturally stubborn from birth. These are the only ones who are truly resistant to propaganda. Anyone not in these categories is susceptible to it and will always be indoctrinated to some degree.
Whether it be childhood morality indoctrination or a disingenuous telling of history. Such as a teaching that all members of the the homo genus are equal in mental capabilities. Nuclear power is more dangerous for the environment than solar. Animal products are worse for you than grains, vegetables, and oils. Believing homosexuality is acceptable in any degree. That ending the life of an unborn child is simply the removal of the equivalent to a tumor. That children are capable of making life altering decisions. That one ethnicity is a victim not because of their actions but because of the wrong doings of another. That Europeans are evil because they were the best at what all societies did pre-industrial revolution.
All of these we know to be false.
Or television shows, advertisements, movies, radio, and social media.
These all have both subtle and obvious propagandas of various types. Even some of the smartest people do not notice the propaganda throughout their life. At a certain point in their teen years, indoctrinated morality takes hold and restricts their ability to rationalize and causes them to have a defensive and or a disgusted response to views that go against what they have fallen to. Such as offense, anger, and even sadness. These are not natural responses to new information. Rather, they are the responses of both someone who fears they are wrong or have been lied to, and an individual who believes that they are the arbiter of good and those who disagree are foolish or evil. This keeps them from relinquishing their false beliefs despite relative intelligence.
Once someone is propagandized, they can not be convinced otherwise through any external means.
Only the individual can release the propagandas hold on themselves. By first, temporarily setting aside their "morality" and emotions, as these get in the way of logical thinking. Few are capable of this. Followed by researching for the truth, for hours and hours. Most will fail this part. Then, they will come to the logically correct conclusion. As painful as it may be. But only if they have fully completed the prerequisites. And then, only then can they reintroduce morals, taking teachings from Christianity, as this is this is the optimal choice for a religion or moral belief system.
Some will refuse this part however, as pride will have taken hold. Despite pride of this kind being an illogical thought process.
They will become Muslim. This would be an incorrect decision. They have not studied Christianity well enough. Some will become atheist. This will lead them to replace religion with politics, causing them to spiral into a self destructive loop of emptiness. History has proven that humans have a need for religion. Without it, something else will become their god. Unfortunately, this has yet to have an exception.
Only through accepting that you know nothing will you be able to learn everything.
