The captain of an airplane has just announced that the plane will run out of fuel and will be forced to make a crash landing.

Boeing in the news again... let's do some forensic analysis. Start with a successful company, profitable, competent engineering staff, conscientious workers. First the bean counters tweak up profit a bit by cutting costs and reducing quality tests. Middle management objects because they know why the tests were necessary. Those guys are replaced with Indian, Paki and black managers who just follow what they are told. The conscientious workers are called to HR for balling out the slow and incompetent workers and HR gets rid of them... they are not using the proper pronouns. They are replaced with Shanequa and LaDashad who were never even aware there used to be quality testing nor why the check lists exist. Eventually Boeing collapsed under the weight of the mandates and policies of it's HR and accounting departments.

America’s top gun safe manufacturer, Liberty Safe, gave the FBI an access code to a safe owned by someone who was present at the J6 protest.
The situation gets even worse: On August 30, 2023, the FBI raided the owner of the safe, Arkansas man Nathan Hughes.
Not only did they access his safe but the FBI also allegedly turned off his security cameras and held his girlfriend at gun point.
Never forget, none of these companies are on your side.
Paper mill story about incompetence. It used to be that one guy would do all the complex lockouts. But he valved out the wrong valve a few times so they changed it so that two people do the lockout. One hangs the lock and hte other is supposed to double check that it's correct. After 3 maint days with this new policy, the one checking behind is just checking boxes on the list and not looking at the valves.
They valved out the air to my scanner because the valve was directly next to the valve they wanted which lifted a camera beam. I found the guys and got them to take the lock off. I also pointed out that if the lock was on my valve it wasn't protecting t he guy that worked on the camera beam. 6 weeks later they locked out the same wrong valve again.
Thi is what happens when they hire people who DGAF or dont think or understand the reason for the process.
