Did a trek of the LCT going Northbound. Easily my favorite coastal hike in California. So much beautiful untamed wilderness for 25 miles.

While planning out our month long itinerary in Spain, we decided to include four days of hiking in the south, and decided to base ourselves out of Capileira. This place is known not just for stunning scenery, but for white-washed villages that are conveniently spaced just a few kilometres apart.
This was early season for the area, so we hardly saw anyone on the trails. It was cold in the mornings and at night but daytime temperatures were perfect at about 12-15C.
I’d highly recommend it.

Short but very steep trail featuring carved out steps over 3 summits near the town of Pingxi in Taiwan. Very different from the types of hikes I am used to doing.

1/2 of Willow Creek Trail completed because the other half back down required you to cross the rushing water with what seems a pulley system (last photo), but we couldn't reach that. I was interested to see what that looks like in use! I would return to hike the entire way to Angel Falls.

Nice preserve on the west coast of Florida. Quiet, didn’t see a single person. Probably because 1/2 the hike is through cow pasture but I didn’t mind. Like any florida activity, make sure you check the weather and bring sunscreen! I got to my car just as the rain started up. Minimal wildlife but got to see some Turkey, Hawks, and Swallow-tailed kites among more common birds. Deer too of course.

Started on the trails but was hoping for a deer shed so I went off trail down in the Cypress swamp area and occasionally close to the water. Everyone is saying the coyote looks like a wolf
