If you can read past the newspeak, you will understand what's going on.
It is the same shi* here! What the hell is the idea behind that. Yesterday I waited 15min to enter a supermarket just to find out that I am not able to buy what I need.
Читать полностью…10 W is fairly low, so it's safer, but it also takes longer to desinfect. I think i posted a pdf or picture somewhere in the beginning of this chat. I'll try and look it up, i think there was info about the intensity in W/cm² in it
Читать полностью…It will be, certainly combined with washing hands. Soap and hairshampoo are good in degreasing, and will make your hands/hair dry out.
Читать полностью…@LittleniQue It's a PDF, so there's no overwhelming bombshell, that might slam you in there, but it's up to you to open it or not. 🤷♂️
Читать полностью…It's what it is, except it would have provided you with a specific answer to your question, so open it or not, it's up to you too
Читать полностью…Mitch, you're prepping for the winter season and the flu to let you use that UVc light, aren't you?
Читать полностью…Think about how your life would change if you were just consuming the allowed products. What meals would you buy, if you didn't have any plates?
Читать полностью…someone told me that is because some of the non-essential businesses sued some supermarkets
Читать полностью…I found a UVc box in a second hand store. Obviously used as a fingernail hardener. 😱
Читать полностью…Every ultraviolet or lower wavelengths are bad for skin/flesh/eyes, so don't use ultraviolet unprotected.
Читать полностью…We're UVc lovers here😊
I own a small UVc steriliser box but I keep it working for 45 minutes instead. I couldn't find anywhere the efficiency of the light LEDs to calculate the dose.
I didn't insist on opening it too, and don't worry, it's a watermarked clone link that makes it look so weird
Читать полностью…...So far, other studies involving 222 nm UVC (Far-UVC) have only confirmed the potential of this wavelength of ultraviolet light in eliminating seasonal coronaviruses. Of course, these coronaviruses are similar in structure to SARS-CoV-2, but It does not cause COVID-19, one nanometer is equivalent to one billionth of a meter. In an in vitro study, the researchers found that 222 nm UVC at a light intensity of 0.1 mW/cm2 for 30 seconds could kill 99.7% of SARS-CoV-2.
In the article, the researchers used the 222TM Krypton Chloride Excimer Lamp produced by Ushio Company for research. First, they spread 100 microliters of virus-containing solution onto a 9 cm sterile polystyrene plate, and then placed it at room temperature. Dry it in a biological safety cabinet, and then place it 24 cm away from the Far-UVC UV lamp for irradiation. The researchers said that ultraviolet light with a wavelength of 222 nm cannot penetrate the outer layer of human eyes and skin, so it does not damage the living cells of the body, which makes it a safe, effective, and alternative to destructive A good substitute for the 254 nm UV lamp, which is more used for disinfection in some health care facilities.
Because 254 nm ultraviolet light can damage exposed human tissues, it can only be used to disinfect and clean empty rooms, but 222 nm ultraviolet light is expected to be a new type of disinfection measure that can be used in occupied public places, including possible Hospitals where nosocomial infections occur. Finally, the researchers stated that they will continue to conduct in-depth research in the later stage to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of 222 nm ultraviolet light in killing SARS-CoV-2 in the real world. At present, their research only analyzes in vitro studies of this wavelength of ultraviolet light. Effectiveness.
