FTX and Bybit Reach $225 Million Settlement
Bankrupt exchange FTX has reached an agreement with Bybit to recover $175 million from its accounts on the platform, aiming to speed up reimbursements to affected clients. The settlement is awaiting court approval, with a hearing scheduled for November 20. Upon approval, FTX will also sell BIT tokens to Bybit’s investment branch for $53 million.
This deal is part of CEO John J. Ray III’s strategy to restore funds for creditors and reduce litigation expenses.
