Hello guys,
as you already know, Coronavirus is spreading across the whole world. Countries such as China, South Korea, Italy and Iran are the ones that have currently been hit the hardest: our thoughts and prayers are with the ones that contracted the virus or suffered a loss because of it.
We are proud to announce that, starting today, we are joining the fight for the coronavirus by creating a team on BOINC. What is this?
The BOINC Project Rosetta@Home is currently working to model covid-19 proteins that may be drug targets and we are going to help by donating a large amount of the computational power of the servers that we use to run the channel and the services we offer to our community.
👉 Do you want to join the battle with us? Check out our team: https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/team_display.php?teamid=18858 and our blog post on how to contribute: https://blog.shitposting.io/boinc-shitposting/
You don't need to have a NASA-grade PC to help, every little counts!
👉 Do you have a big channel on telegram or community on another social network? You can help us to spread the word by sharing this fantastic tool. You can use our blog post or forward this message if you want to. We don't care about how you say it, we want you to spread the message.
We hope that, with YOUR help, we could change this situation.
We'll continue to post memes and make you laugh, even in difficult situations, as we always do.
Thank you.
