When & Where
So now that we know what axiality is. And who are the key players let us put this data together to show when and where the spread of axiality took place.
Patient Zero - Zoroaster
• Though the date is disputed, Zoroastrianism predates but spread through the Persian Empire, especially under Darius & Xerxes. ≅ 650 bce (Zoroaster) to 550 bce (birth of the 1st persian empire)
Eastern Spread
• The Persians attacked and subdued vedic Indian kingdoms in 535 bce. Infiltration and subversion took place leading to the downfall of the vedic period in 500 bce and the creationof the new uppanishads.
• Nastika (anti-veda) movements culminated in buddhism in the 400s bce and the hindu-synthesis in 200 bce
Western Spread
• Persia came into contact with greeks with the conquering of Lydia in 546 bce. Pre-socratic philosophers came from this area and spread into mainland Greece and southern Italy, which would spread further via the Diadochi.
• Judaism, via christianity, would continue its spread north and west.

What is Perennialism?
According to perennialism.org, "The perennial philosophy states that at the heart of each authentic tradition lies One Universal, Timeless Truth that transcends all time and space. This Truth is beyond being. This Truth is the source of Scared Revelation. This Truth is God."
Often utilized in new age movements, modern perennialism originates from the theosophical society's Helena Blavatsky. The goal of theosophy is, "To form a nucleus of the universal brotherhood of humanity, without distinction of race, creed, sex, caste, or colour; to encourage the study of comparative religion, philosophy, and science; and to investigate unexplained laws of Nature and the powers latent in human beings."
Essentially, they claim that in the far distant past all humanity had one religion. And that mystery religion could be rediscovered through comparative mythology & combining faiths into a new one universal religion, which they claim is ancient.
Evola and Guénon use this & dubb it "traditionalism™"
When you call platonists out they hop on the highest horse imaginable, addressing you like a 19th century british aristocrat talking to a beggar. A strategy inspired by a modern aristocrat wanna be survive the jive who infamously claimed that mythical literalism (actual belief in Gods and their deeds) is for retarded peasants. Then he ran away from the debate and said we were attacking his family, which is a lie told to earn pity and morally posture about something he made up.
All this portrays hidden fragility of fake pagans, very similar to the leftist instinct of calling you a racist, ableist sexist the moment you dare expose them.
Before we conclude the "who," in relation to the origins of the axial-age, I think it is important to discuss what elements exactly constitute "axiality."
What is Axiality
Below are some of the qualities that are known changes that occurred between ancestral (pre-axial) systems of belief and those of axiality:
*Note* though all axial philosophical/religious systems have many of the elements listed below, they don't have to have "all of them" to constitute axiality. Consider it more like a DSM-style screening checklist. The more that apply, the more likely the system is affected by axiality. This is an in-depth list, but not every single quality of axiality
• Particularist ---> universalist
• Cyclical time ---> linear time
• Imminence ---> transcendence
• Fate ---> free will
• Glory/Honor ---> "muh virtue"/humility
• Gods are in charge, therefore all their actions are good ---> gods never act outside of the morality we impose on them, thats why they're good
• Gods and myths are real ---> gods and myths are metaphors
• Nature over man ---> man over nature
• Many entities with different morals/motives (Order v Disorder) ---> all knowing, all powerful, all good against the opposite or none (good v evil or just "all is good")
• Pro-family ---> family isn't as important as (x)
• Dont change Nature or it'll negatively affect you ---> you should dominate & "fix" nature
• Polytheism (many Gods) ---> dualism/monism/monotheism (few Gods)
• Real ---> abstract
• Poet & Temples ---> "prophets" & mystery cults
• Exoteric ---> esoteric
• Gods made us to be like them ---> humans made Gods (or the legends about them) to be like humans
• Divine, human & animal realms are only different in degree ---> the divine, human & animal realms are totally different
• Goal is to gain wisdom, power or good things in this world ---> wisdom, power or good things are only outside this world/life
• The natural world is created & maintained by Gods, therefore its perfect as is ---> the world is fallen/fake and there's another "perfect world" we must reach
• One's religion is tied to one's blood ---> religion can be practiced by anyone & everyone
• Authority is based on divine lineage (demigods) ---> authority is based on abstract qualities anyone can have
Another day, another Nick Fuentes meltdown about paganism. "White people are in a crisis" and "need Christianity" to solve it. And "paganism is getting in the way".
Fuentes is not for white people. He is for Catholicism, and white people are along for the ride. Except they're not. Catholicism is a third world religion. It began as a third world religion, then grafted itself on to Europe for a while. Now it has outgrown Europe, and has returned to its roots as a brown people religion, which it will remain forever. The very people Fuentes claims to oppose derive their power from Christianity, because it bends our spiritual axis toward their homeland. We will not be free from them until we are free from Christianity.
It's really very simple: Christianity can't put folk first because it's a religion for everyone. Paganism can put folk first, because the folk and the religion are inseparable. This is what every Orthodox Twitter anon is worried about. This is what Fuentes is worried about. Paganism is the solution to the genocide of our folk, and deep down, he knows it. He's just on a different team.
All of the work Fuentes has done "redpilling" people, feuding with Tucker Carlson and so forth, scatters like petals in a storm. His true legacy is in pouring the gasoline of Christianity on to the fire of civic nationalism. If he went to his pastor and started talking the way he does live on air, he would find himself excommunicated. That is the true spirit of Christianity.

How did Axiality Spread
Historically what we call axiality spread via missionaries: whether the magi, philosophers, buddhist monks, christians and Muslims alike. It's spread very much like a cancer spreads through the body, it's strategy is as follows:
Axiality Stage 1
It starts by being "just another point of view" to gain a foothold inside a civilization. At this stage they focus on recruiting the dregs of society. And just like a cancer, it will disguise itself as regular members of said society. To hide in plain sight to avoid the immune system of the body.
Axiality Stage 2
When they reach a critical mass, they start challenging the pre-existing world view with years of practice in their enclaves using all manner of sophistry. Using these lines of argumentation, they can hopefully "win over" or "cozy up" to the powers that be (kings, nobles et al), cementing their position as "a faction among many" in the higher rungs of society.
Axiality Stage 3
The faction of axiality backs a person who will take the position of power. Keep in mind, Stage 1, they already have a dedicated underclass which will support such an uprising, which would be useful to such a ruler. When they do take power, they stamp out the pre-existing worldview; usually, but not limited to, the destruction of temples and outlawing certain forms of worship (due to their forms of worship being previously outlawed, but more on that in Why part 2).
Axiality Stage 4
Once axiality has taken over a civilization, it sends forth its own missionaries to spread new strains or it's own strain of axiality to other nations.
How Axiality is Made
There are known mutations that take place when axiality is contracted, which we discussed in detail in the "What" portion of this series. The fewer mutations, the less likely cancer will develop, think of a benign tumor. An example of this, in relation to axiality, would be Jainism. Likewise, if a civilization has a strong immune system, it can stamp out such mutations before they spread. An example of this would be when Cylon of Croton drove the pythagoreans out of Syracuse. Or the execution of Socrates for, quote, "being guilty of believing in Gods of his own invention rather than those accepted by the state." Vespasian also executing and driving out all philosophers from Rome in the year 93, after the chaotic "year of four emperors" at the end of the julio-claudian dynasty.
The most successful forms of axiality start out hiding in plain sight, gathering recruits of lower classes, giving them self importance. And like modern day cults, would be very secretive with a single leader and spread among the downtrodden of society. Their message is that "the old ways are bad, and that is why you are in a bad position in life. That what is called evil is good, and what is called good is evil." If this sounds a lot like satanism today, you would not be wrong. In fact axiality, after attacking Paganism, would begin to attack itself with the exact same tactics, funny enough. And if axiality can be turned on itself, it shows that it is not a stable or coherent worldview. It also shows the self destructive nature of such spiritual and mental mutations.

A religion that preaches the destruction of families and nations, only to meld them all together in a homogenous mass of ignorant fools with no roots to their own past, and no prospect of future: just the present, where they live to serve like drones and hunt down whoever goes against their life style.

This post has been floating around telegram today, and I have been asked to respond.
This video is an excerpt from a work by Julius Evola, who was against people believing as their folkish forefathers did; and instead promoted a brand new, made up, catholic-style, universalist, perennialist religion as ... wait for it ... "ThE oNe TrUe TrAdItIoN." Why? Because he said so.
The reason why these people are posting this video is due to the fact that some "self-proclaimed pagans" absolutely detest the idea that our ancestors actually believed in real imminent Gods. And hate that we follow in their footsteps, believing in real Gods interacting with the real world and with us today.
To them, the Gods are nothing more than archetypes and symbols. The deeds of the Gods as recorded in legend as mere parables or stage plays for, "entertainment purposes only" (like the ancient version of marvel comics).
This mentality of promoting that, "not a single one of our ancestors took their faith seriously" is the subversion.
These larpy perennialist sentiments seem to be spreading, but it's really just the opposite. They've been there for years, but they're only being expressed now because they're feeling the heat from real religious pagans who worship real gods.
For years the pagan right was happy just to kind of vibe on these ideas without actually expressing them, because they were so internalised. They were just background assumptions and didn't need to be stated, much less argued for. But now "Traditionalists" feel the need to argue for them, because they're losing their grip on the pagan right.
All the insubstantial fluff is being carried off like smoke on the wind because a new worldview is rising. But really, it's not new at all, it's old. The oldest worldview. The folkish worldview.

Platonism is atheism because seeing myth as just tales and Gods as incorporeal ideas is textbook atheism. In case you don't know, in the criminal law of Athens there was the term asebeia—impiety or disrespect towards the gods.
Initially asebeia was seen only as practical atheism i.e. rejection of public worship. Later, when philosophy arose towards the end of 5th c., theoretical denial of the Gods was included under asebeia. There are on record a number of prosecutions of philosophers who were tried and condemned for theoretical asebeia i.e. denial of the traditional view of the Gods as literal physical beings. Socrates himself kept performing rituals, but has drastically reinterpreted the Gods as perfect ideas, which is clearly seen in his attacks on Homer.
Platonist lies. Philosophers were literally attacking religion and mocking traditional understanding of the gods. The funny thing is that those guys don’t even real their own gurus.

Gods Love You!
There are many different solar deities in European traditions. The supposed original sun god perennialists "reconstruct" is male, but in some tradition the solar deity is female like Sol in Germanic one. So this true solar god either doesn’t care what humans think he is or is just a plaything in mortal hands powerless to stop them from turning him into whatever they want. It makes the supposed progenitor gods so powerless they may as well be nothing but memes i.e. ideas (because they are) or so distant and careless there’s no point in worshipping them.
