🇸🇦 Former Director of Saudi Arabia's General Intelligence Presidency (1979-2001), Prince Turki bin Faisal al Saud, wrote an op-ed for the Saudi newspaper, Asharq Al-Awsat, praising Saudi Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman, for resisting Israeli pressure to attack Iran.

Turki bin Faisal points out that both Iranian and Israeli ambitions in the Middle East pose a threat to Saudi sovereignty and praises MBS for not taking a side in this conflict as the war was not in Saudi Arabia's interests. He advises the current Saudi ruler that with the withdrawal and destruction of American assets in the region it is in the Kingdom's interest to step up and provide security to its GCC neighbours.

Recall that ever since the 3rd Gulf War began, a series of fake stories were published in Western journals alleging that Riyadh joined the war against Iran and after the ceasefire, that it was "pressuring" the U.S. to restart the conflict.

It is now clear that the stories about "Saudi" pressure on the U.S. to restart the war were part of an Israeli disinformation campaign to shift the blame on the war and the ensuing global economic crisis onto other actors in the region.

📰🗯 Jewish-American neocon scholar, Robert Kagan, wrote an op-ed for The Atlantic, decrying the defeat inflicted by Iran on the American regime.

Kagan founded in 1997 together with fellow neocon columnist, Bill Kristol, the Project for the New American Century, an NGO/think-tank that advocated for every major war the U.S. was involved in since 1997, from Afghanistan, to Iraq, to Libya, Syria and even Iran.

After the 1998 bombing of Iraq was announced Kagan said "bombing Iraq isn't enough" and called on Clinton to send ground troops to Iraq. Kagan left the Republican Party in 2016 when they nominated Donald Trump for president.

Kagan is also married to former Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs, Victoria Nuland, who is largely responsible for causing the Russo-Ukrainian War.

In his op-ed for The Atlantic, Kagan doesn't mince words. He says that Iran has become "one of the key players in the world" thanks to its firm control over the Strait of Hormuz.

The most problematic part of the 3rd Gulf War according to Kagan is that it exposed the inherent weaknesses of the U.S. military and worst of all, that it "can't finish what it started" and an unreliable ally in relation to the GCC countries who had defense agreements with the U.S.

The author is extremely skeptical that the current blockade or a new round of bombings would collapse the Islamic Republic of Iran, pointing out that the reason the bombing stopped was Iran's precise attacks on the oil & gas infrastructure across the Middle East.

In the interest of preserving what's left of the American Empire, Kagan advises Trump to walk away now, accept that the U.S. is no longer the biggest military power in the Persian Gulf and acquiesce to the new status-quo rather than risk the resumption of war and the inevitable destruction of the economies of the GCC countries.

As a giant gold statue of U.S. President Donald Trump was unveiled in Florida last week, a group of Hasidic ultra-Orthodox Jews joined the ribbon-cutting ceremony, while Trump personally thanked them for their contribution during a phone call documented at the event.

The 6.7-meter (22-foot) statue was installed at Trump National Doral Miami, a golf resort in Doral, South Florida and received widespread ridicule on X for resembling a modern-day "golden calf."

Trump was documented speaking on the phone with Flitchkin and Friedman, according to the Yiddish-language X page Kanynahora, with Burns holding the iPhone while the president was on the line. "I want to thank you so much… I love that name," Trump told Friedman, adding: "It's turned out to be a beautiful piece of art. I hope you're happy with it."

"It's an honor to be here," Flitchkin said, to which Trump replied: "Come up and see me in the Oval."

Flitchkin is the executive director of the Alliance for Global Cooperation, an organization that says it "promotes international peace & security" – though its website is currently inaccessible. He is also listed as an "angel investor" in a group called "Bilateral Navigator," where he is described as "a prominent philanthropist" who is "active at the UN in interfaith and intercultural dialogue."

He has previously been involved in several events directly associated with Trump, including the president's second inauguration in January 2025, where he held a small replica of the Trump statue. During that ceremony, Flitchkin was photographed with Burns, then-New York City Mayor Eric Adams and Brock Pierce, a former child actor turned crypto entrepreneur, who was also present at last week's statue dedication and cut the ribbon alongside Flitchkin.

In addition, Flitchkin was one of two guests who visited Ukraine in October 2025 to take part in the opening ceremony for the "Trump Peace Park." The park, located in the Jewish village of Anatevka, was built in honor of Trump's "global peace efforts, particularly in Israel," according to Moshe Azman, Ukraine's chief rabbi. Burns was documented alongside Flitchkin in Ukraine last year, where the evangelical pastor urged Trump to provide Ukraine with military aid, including U.S. tanks and F-35 fighter jets.

On his Instagram page, Flitchkin features photos of himself with Argentine President Javier Milei, U.N. Secretary-General António Guterres, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and far-right American broadcaster Tucker Carlson, among other leaders.

🇺🇦🇱🇻⚔️🇷🇺 On the night between May 7th and May 8th, two Ukrainian drones accidentally struck an oil depot in the Latvian city of Rēzekne, 63 kilometres (39 miles) from the Russian border.

The Russian MoD informed its Latvian counterpart that it detected the entry of at least 7 Ukrainian drones into Latvian airspace that night but Latvia took no action.

Latvian authorities blamed Russia for the fire at the Rēzekne oil depot but the whole story fell apart when Ukrainian foreign minister, Andrey Sybiga, took responsibility for the incident and apologised for the fire, blaming Russian jammers setting the drones off their programmed path.

As a result of this incident, the Latvian defense minister, Andris Sprūds, resigned.

It was speculated for a few months already that Poland and the Baltic States were letting Ukraine use their airspace to target Russian oil terminals and oil refineries in the Leningrad district and the Far North. On March 31st, a Ukrainian drone crashed in an Estonian village the night when Russia's 2nd biggest oil terminal in Ust-Luga, was bombed.

“For Israel, no deal is better than a bad deal.”

Key Points:

▪️He believes Israel is pressuring Trump not to sign an agreement because a deal would block Israel from continuing or restarting attacks on Iran.

▪️Citrinowicz argues that Benjamin Netanyahu cannot openly confront Donald Trump the way he publicly fought Barack Obama over the JCPOA, meaning that if Trump ultimately signs a deal with Iran, Israel could find itself politically stuck with an agreement it opposes. Once Trump backs a deal, Israel would have far less ability to politically undermine it inside the United States or mobilize any kind of opposition in U.S. political circles in the future.

▪️ He says Trump faces a choice: either continue pursuing maximalist demands and escalation, or accept compromise and Iran’s right to enrich uranium under restrictions.

▪️ He repeatedly also says Iran will not capitulate, even under blockade and economic pressure. So the Israeli preference for maximalist demands like “zero enrichment” makes an agreement impossible.

▪️ Citrinowicz says the war failed strategically because Iran’s core nuclear red lines did not change after 39 days of fighting.
