Admin Note 📝: Ramaswamy's main challenger in the GOP primary was Casey Putsch, who had a few notable freakouts and public denunciations of Donald Trump online during his campaign, basically fitting the pattern of brainrotted post-2020 "right wing" podcast listener.

His campaign did relatively well all things considered, but he hitched his wagon to a largely histrionic movement of clickbait peddlers that clearly unsettled a great many voters. Perhaps a lesson in the future for any aspiring civil servants watching to talk moderate and vote/legislate extreme, not the other way around.

🇮🇷⚔️🇺🇸 WAPO: Iran has hit far more U.S. military assets than reported, satellite images show.

Iranian airstrikes have damaged or destroyed at least 228 structures or pieces of equipment at U.S. military sites across the Middle East since the war began, hitting hangars, barracks, fuel depots, aircraft and key radar, communications and air defense equipment, according to a Washington Post analysis of satellite imagery. The amount of destruction is far larger than what has been publicly acknowledged by the U.S. government or previously reported.

Experts who reviewed The Post’s analysis said the damage at the sites suggested that the U.S. military had underestimated Iran’s targeting abilities, not adapted sufficiently to modern drone warfare and left some bases under-protected.

“The Iranian attacks were precise. There are no random craters indicating misses,” said Mark Cancian, a senior adviser with the CSIS and a retired Marine Corps colonel, who reviewed the Iranian images at The Post’s request.

“The Iranians have deliberately targeted accommodation buildings across multiple sites with the intent to inflict mass casualties,” said William Goodhind, an investigator with the open-access research project Contested Ground who reviewed the imagery. “It is not just equipment, fuel storage and air base infrastructure under fire, but also soft targets, such as gyms, food halls and accommodation.”

The Post also found that the attacks hit a satellite communications site at al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar, Patriot missile defense equipment at Riffa and Isa air bases in Bahrain and Ali al-Salem Air Base in Kuwait, a satellite dish at the Naval Support Activity Bahrain — which serves as the headquarters of the U.S. 5th Fleet — a power plant at Camp Buehring in Kuwait and five fuel storage bladder sites across three bases.

🇷🇺⚔️🇺🇦 Russia's goal this summer in southern Ukraine is to capture the city of Orekhov, from which Ukraine launched the failed 2023 summer counteroffensive.

Over the past two months, Russian airstrikes in the sector have intensified in preparation for a summer offensive aimed at taking the city.

Orekhov is sitting in a low-lying area. There are formidable fortifications to the south of the city and a series of hills to the northeast of the city which are critical for the defense of the city. Without capturing those heights, Orehkhov will hold.

From February to April, there have been more than 900 confirmed airstrikes in this sector, gradually moving westward and most of the airstrikes focused on Ukrainian trenches and fortifications in the high ground between Orekhov and Ternuvatoe.

Capturing Orekhov is necessary for Russia's plans to conquer the city of Zaporozhye.

Both Ramaswamy and Acton are controversial characters, with Ramaswamy’s ‘Christmas Crashouts’ and frequently stated ‘hatred/dislikement’ of Ohioans and ‘White American culture’ (not to mention the current RICO lawsuit/cases against Ramaswamy in the U.S State of Georgia and the fact he scammed his way to making millions), both Acton and Ramaswamy are responsible for the extreme lockdown measures taken in the State of Ohio during the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic, and both appear to be very pro-data center, both of which are 2 VERY big issues in the state.

The State of Ohio, the Heartland of America may look vastly different depending on the outcome of November.

Small Chinese companies are openly exporting dual-use drone components—including engines, batteries, fiber-optic cables and chips—to Iran and Russia, often in defiance of U.S. sanctions.

One company, Xiamen Victory Technology, even marketed German-designed L550 drone engines linked to Iran’s Shahed-136 attack drones during recent regional fighting.

U.S. officials say stopping the trade is difficult because drones rely on common commercial parts that are easy to move through global supply chains. Many Chinese suppliers are small firms with little exposure to U.S. sanctions and increasingly operate openly.

Ukrainian strikes are inflicting significant damage across a wide array of Russian cities. Ukrainian forces have increased their long-range strike campaign in the past several weeks, targeting several major Russian cities, including Moscow and Chelyabinsk cities; Yekaterinburg, Sverdlovsk Oblast; Primorsk and Ust-Luga, Leningrad Oblast; and Tuapse and Novorossiysk, Krasnodar Krai.

Reuters reported that the Kirishi Oil Refinery halted operations after the Ukrainian drone strike damaged three of the four crude distillation units and several secondary units.

The Ukrainian Unmanned Systems Forces (USF) reported that the Kirishinefteorgsintez oil refinery has an annual refining capacity of 20 to 21 million tons of oil per year and is one of the three largest oil refineries in Russia.

Ukrainian General Staff reported on May 5 that Ukrainian strikes against the Tuapse Oil Refinery in Krasnodar Krai in April 2026 and on May 1 caused over $300 million worth of damage to the refinery and the Tuapse port infrastructure.

The Ukrainian State Emergency Services (DSNS) reported on May 5 that Russian forces conducted a double-tap missile strike against a gas production facility in Poltava Oblast, using four missiles — likely Iskander-M ballistic missiles — as part of a simultaneous second strike against first responders who were responding to the initial Russian strike.
