🇬🇧 Britain Denies Entry to 2 U.S. Commentators Who Denounced Israel

The authorities did not say why they had barred Cenk Uygur and Hasan Piker, who have popular social media channels, but said their presence “may not be conducive to the public good.”

Britain said on Monday that it had blocked entry to two prominent American commentators, Cenk Uygur and Hasan Piker, because of their “potential risk” to British society, a decision that came amid debate about the limits of free speech in the country.

Mr. Uygur and Mr. Piker, two progressive activists with popular social media channels, were set to speak at events in Britain this week. Both expressed outrage on social media and accused the British authorities of canceling their travel authorizations because of their vocal criticism of Israel.

The British Home Office, which manages border security, said in an emailed statement that the authorizations of the two American commentators had been canceled because their presence in Britain “may not be conducive to the public good.” The Home Office said that a decision to deny entry for that reason was “based solely on an assessment of the potential risk an individual may pose” to British society.

The statement did not mention Mr. Uygur and Mr. Piker’s criticism of Israel nor any of their other views. The Home Office declined to answer questions about the case or about the accusations from the two commentators that they were being targeted for their statements on Israel.

📝 Littoria: Hasan Piker is technically an ideological fellow traveller of the UK's ruling Labour government, yet they banned him from entering.

Nick Shirley goes to the UK to support an anti Muslim soccer hooligan rally and agitate for the overthrow of the Labour government, yet he was welcomed into the country by them.

What's the answer here besides there are no real politics in Britain other than the interests of Zionism and Jews?

Dubowitz isn’t just any neocon pundit, he is the CEO of the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies (FDD). FDD is very pro Israel & is closely advising the admin on Iran policy.

When Dubowitz says “for the next two & a half years” he is basically admitting that the initial goal of the pro Israel lobby was to get us into this war knowing that once we were in, it would be very difficult for us to get out.

Dubowitz & the Israelis alway knew this would be a very long war, but lied to Trump & the admin with tales of a decapitation strike leading to a popular uprising, resulting in a quick victory.

They knew this was a lie. They will continue to lie to get us to do their bidding, regardless of what it costs our nation.

Rooting out foreign influence starts with cutting off access to Israeli surrogates like FDD.

🚢⚠️ To avoid becoming the targets of the IRGC Navy, hundreds of oil tankers chose to sit idle in the Persian Gulf for the last three months, inadvertently exposing themselves to yet another danger: barnacles!

Images are emerging of Persian Gulf barnacle infestations which could render ships inoperable due to propeller and fouling issues. Barnacles can jam water pumps and prevent the crew from stopping the ship from sinking if it would find itself hit by a drone/missile/naval mine.

Crews are in some cases receiving only one meal a day - some are reportedly not being paid.

A ship's master has reported to us that shipping companies are offering up to triple pay to get crew changes in the Persian Gulf but are having trouble finding crews willing to risk it.

Many seafarers simply don't want to return. Food, supplies, and logistics are all issues.

A Captain tells us that hull cleaning under normal conditions for most ships requires "several days" to complete for commercial tankers.

Now add "spectacular" barnacle infestations and all ships requiring cleaning simultaneously.

Port congestion and logistical nightmares!

An ARAMCO employee said regarding the barnacle infestation:

"Even if they want to sail out, most ships will first do a UWILD (hull cleaning) because the hulls will be in a very bad shape after prolonged idle time in warm, saline waters."

We're now hearing from our sources about sea chests with clogged gratings and pipes which can lead to a lack of cooling water for engines, necessitating a full UWILD for ships trapped in the Persian Gulf.

Meanwhile, traders on Polymarket are betting that barnacles will be cited as force majeure by shipping companies unable to transport oil, gas & everything else by July 31st.

🇮🇱🇮🇱 Of the current 39,621 draft dodgers, 75 percent are Haredi, according to IDF data;

Israel's top lawyer said on Sunday that most Israelis who evade the mandatory military draft are ultra-Orthodox, but only sixteen indictments have been filed against Haredi draft dodgers, amid discussions on a High Court of Justice ruling calling on the state to enforce the mandatory draft law.

Against the backdrop of the ultra-Orthodox's attempt to influence the police through the police commissioner and prevent them from enforcing against draft dodgers, the attorney general emphasized the importance of the police in addressing the matter. She called on all state bodies to increase enforcement efforts to uphold the burden of equality and promote enlistment in the IDF, in accordance with the High Court of Justice's decision.

The attorney general's statement highlighted that the IDF estimates that the total number of ultra-Orthodox recruits in the first half of 2025 was 1,866. According to IDF sources, this figure represents an increase of approximately 50 percent in the number of recruits compared to the corresponding period in 2024.

Head of the IDF Personnel Directorate's Planning and Personnel Management Division, Brig. Gen. Shay Tayeb confirmed two weeks ago in a Knesset discussion on the draft exemption law that the number of ultra-Orthodox draft evaders currently stands at about 32,000, warning, "We will soon reach around 80,000–90,000 draft evaders."

🇪🇹🇪🇹⚔️🇪🇹 Amhara ethno-nationalist Fano militias have sustained offensives across northern Ethiopia’s Amhara region since March 2026, disrupting the federal government’s efforts to organize upcoming June 1 federal elections in affected areas.

Fano’s offensives could also be constraining any federal government plans to respond to the TPLF’s power grab in the neighboring Tigray region.

Fano has increased its average monthly rate of attacks by over 50 percent in the March to May period compared to December 2025 to February 2026 and threatened population centers on key roads.

The Ethiopian military (ENDF) has reinforced its presence in Amhara since late March and launched a counteroffensive, but Fano has maintained an elevated rate of activity.

The offensives have explicitly targeted election infrastructure to prevent elections from being held and undermine the legitimacy of the elections and the federal government.

Ethiopia’s election board already announced on May 26 that the federal government will not hold elections in at least eight of Amhara’s 138 constituencies due to insecurity.

Fano’s offensives could be constraining any federal government plans to respond to the TPLF after the TPLF reinstated its pre-Tigray war regional government on May 5, a move that effectively killed the Pretoria peace deal that ended the war in 2022.

The federal government and TPLF have been engaged in a military standoff since February 2026, although the Iran war has caused fuel shortages that may have disrupted any plans for an offensive in the short-term.

Fano’s activity could be a further bandwidth drain on the ENDF, as it has likely forced the ENDF to redeploy resources focused on Tigray to Amhara.

☢️ 🇬🇧 ⚡️ Read how Restore Britain would make energy cheap, reliable and abundant.

Cheap Reliable & Abundant | A Britain-First energy security strategy:

Our overall system diagnosis is that Britain today cannot convert resources into
energy because we optimise for risk aversion, not output. We are governed by
institutions that put process before delivery and compliance before capacity.
Projects get delayed beyond their economic life, investors cannot count on
stable returns, and regulatory layers multiply without accountability.

Yet energy usage is the best proxy we have for real industrial capability. It
measures the part of the economy that deals with the world of atoms rather than
the world of bytes. If anything, we ought to regard kWh per capita divided by
the cost per kWh as a more meaningful metric of national capability than GDP
per capita. This would put China already ahead of the United States and even
further ahead of us.

In Britain and across the West, meanwhile, economic policy continues to be
conducted by recourse to financial metrics. We get caught in a never-ending
loop of conversations about GDP growth, productivity statistics, fiscal balances,
and interest rates. The Chinese have optimised for the right variable in the same
period that Western countries have increasingly optimised for abstract variables
that distract us from the real world.

At Restore Britain, we depart from this short-sighted model. Financial metrics
are not the foundations of national capability. They are downstream indicators.
The upstream drivers are at once simpler and more physical. A modern nation ultimately depends upon a small number of base inputs: people, food, and
energy – the real stuff of economic life. Without people to work, food to sustain
them, and energy to power machines, no amount of financial finesse can make a
country prosperous. But once armed with a solid birth rate (human energy),
with self-sustaining agriculture (biological energy), and with abundant,
affordable power generation (industrial energy), everything else becomes a
matter of speed and organisation.

An able, patriotic government should always aim to maximise the abundance
and security of these base inputs. Of these, industrial energy is the master
variable. Every single sector of a modern economy – manufacturing,
construction, transport, computers, housing, and increasingly AI – is
downstream of the energy system. When energy is plentiful and cheap, the
entire lot performs better. When energy becomes scarce and expensive,
economic productivity suffers.

Overall, energy should be valued as strategic national infrastructure, not treated
as an environmental compliance problem. The countries that will dominate the
coming decades are unlikely to be those that optimise for financial efficiency.
They will be the ones that secure abundance at the base layers of the system.

An intelligent domestic energy policy has to be about more than just lowering
prices. At Restore Britain, we also believe that it must serve national security. In
the modern world, sovereignty means next to nothing if it is not backed by
energy independence. Foreign powers can own part of our energy infrastructure,
subject to obvious security checks, because at this time we need all of the capital
resources we can get. But it should always remain under our own legislative
control, so that we are never held to ransom by outside forces.

The debate now raging about energy bills shows that the British people are
struggling. Relative to our competitors, we pay through the nose for the power
we need to function as a first-world economy. This will not be solved by
short-term thinking or fiddling with price caps on bills. Ultimately, what we
need is not eye-catching measures aimed at temporary relief, but a long-term
vision for national prosperity.

🇮🇱🇮🇱 Israeli lawmakers advance Knesset dissolution bill as coalition crisis deepens

The Knesset House Committee voted 8-0 to advance a coalition-backed bill to dissolve parliament, clearing the way for a first reading later today. The legislation already passed a preliminary vote on 20 May by 110 votes to 0, but must still pass three additional readings before taking effect.

No election date has been finalized due to disagreements within the coalition. Lawmakers are discussing dates between 8 September and 20 October, although coalition whip Ofir Katz said a different date could still be chosen later. Under current law, elections are scheduled for 27 October, and Israel's Central Elections Committee has requested at least 83 days' notice to prepare for a vote.

The push for early elections stems from a growing crisis between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his ultra-Orthodox coalition partners over the controversial military conscription bill. The Haredi parties began backing dissolution after Netanyahu reportedly told them the draft-exemption legislation lacked sufficient support to pass, while leaders within the ultra-Orthodox camp have publicly stated they no longer trust him.

According to Israeli media, the ultra-Orthodox parties favor elections in September, believing it could boost turnout among their voters, while Netanyahu prefers a late October vote to give his coalition more time to pass legislation and pursue military objectives. The Israeli army has repeatedly warned of manpower shortages, making the conscription dispute one of the central issues driving the coalition toward possible collapse.
