📢 🇺🇸 🇮🇷 President Donald J. Trump has just posted an image to Truth Social of a map of the Middle East centered on Iran covered in the stars & stripes with the title "United States of the Middle East?" This follows the abrupt cancellation of his weekend trip to the Bahamas for the wedding of Don Jr. followed by a weekend at his property in Bedminster, NJ.

—❗️🇺🇸/🇮🇷 According to Al-Jazeera, some details of the alleged MoU:
– A permanent end to the war in the entire region, including Lebanon.
– U.S. lifts the naval blockade.
– Iran opens the Strait of Hormuz.
– American military forces leave the region.
Nuclear matters to be discussed at a later stage.

🇮🇷🤝🇴🇲 Esmail Baqaei, spokesman of the Iranian MFA:
🔹The Strait of Hormuz has nothing to do with America. A mechanism must be defined between us and Oman as the coastal countries. We are in talks with the relevant organizations. We are aware of the importance of this waterway for the international community.
🔹The international community knows that the insecurity is caused by the aggressive actions of America and the Zionist regime. They understand that the responsible action of Iran and Oman to establish a mechanism for the safe passage of ships through this waterway is in the interest of the international community.
🔹What we are doing is in line with preserving the national interests of Iran and Oman as coastal countries and also aims to ensure the safe passage of shipping. From this perspective, we expect all countries that value free trade and maritime safety to understand this situation.
🔹We will continue our work with Oman in this regard. The issue of the Strait of Hormuz is one of the topics to be discussed in this 14-article memorandum of understanding. But more importantly, it is about ending American piracy. This is important for all countries because it has intensified insecurity, and it is also important for us as we were also targeted by American piracy.
There is a draft MoU now that has been accepted by both Iran and Pakistan, from what I am hearing.
It focuses on permanently ending the war, but does not mention nuclear matters at all until a later stage and after sitgnificant U.S. concessions.
Ball is in America’s court.

🇱🇧⚔️🇮🇱 Hezbollah published two videos showing two FPV drones striking two different Iron Dome SHORAD launchers on the Israeli-Lebanese border.
One of the launchers is visibly empty and wasn't capable of intercepting the drones.
These are the 4th visually confirmed Iron Dome launchers struck by Hezbollah since the Trump-brokered ceasefire began.
The two launchers struck appear to have been replacements for two other Iron Dome launchers struck by Hezbollah between May 8th and May 10th.

🇮🇱🇨🇾 Security at a Cyprus airport stopped a 24-year-old Israeli man and found 4 human embryos in his luggage, stored in a cryogenic container labeled "Life Pack," bound for Mexico via Istanbul.
The embryos came from an IVF clinic in northern Nicosia operating without proper authorization. No health ministry approval had been issued to remove them from the country.
He's charged with illegal transport of human tissue. The embryos are in evidence.
The question nobody's answered yet: whose embryos were they, and who was waiting for them in Mexico?

🇪🇺❌🇬🇧 Brussels rejects UK proposal to rejoin the EU Common Market for goods
Michael Ellam, the UK’s chief negotiator, is understood to have proposed that Britain rejoin the EU’s single market for goods to deepen its economic relationship with the bloc. This would allow British companies to sell their goods into European markets without checks, in return for Britain following existing and future EU regulations.
The EU rejected Ellam's proposal because the UK refuses to allow the free movement of people between the EU and the UK
The EU consistently said during the Brexit withdrawal negotiations that the UK could not be fully part of the single market unless it signed up to free movement of people.
The new proposals, first reported by The Guardian and confirmed by government sources, were made before talks expected to take place in July. The negotiations are expected to result in a deal for a new youth mobility scheme between Britain and the EU and an end to checks on food and agricultural products crossing the Channel and the Irish Sea.
Although the EU is open to further integration, it is concerned about giving the UK preferential treatment in an area of political controversy.

— 🇺🇸/🇮🇷 NOTE: As they say, ‘the devil is in the details’, and that’s most certainly the case with this Memorandum of Understanding
Is there a practical mechanism to ensure U.S. forces leave the region? Or is it just a loose committment.
Will there be a release of frozen funds? If yes, how many — and when will they be released?
Will the U.S. grant Iran temporary oil sanctions waivers for the duration of the remaining negotiations?
But perhaps most importantly, it will be key whether Iran’s reopening of Hormuz includes the collection of tolls and abiding by the Iranian maritime traffic separation scheme.
If Iran is allowed to collect tolls and ships have to get Iranian permission to pass the Strait of Hormuz, that’s a major American concession and practically grants Iran sovereignty over the Strait.
But if Iran has agreed to temporarily ‘shelf’ the idea of toll collection, this MoU is less favorable. As I said, details matter a lot, this all means nothing yet.

🇮🇷🕊🇺🇸 Spokesman of the Iranian MFA: The priority is to end the war on all fronts
We do not discuss the details of the nuclear issue at this stage. We know that our nuclear issue has been a pretext for two aggressive wars against the Iranian nation. At the same time, we were subjected to illegal attacks during the nuclear negotiations.
Therefore, we wisely decided to prioritize the urgent matter at this stage, which is ending the war on all fronts, including Lebanon.
Whether in the next stages, in 30 or 60 days, we discuss the nuclear issue or other topics we agree on is a separate matter. At this stage, all our focus is on ending the war.

🇮🇷🕊🇺🇸 Spokesman of the Iranian MFA, Esmail Baqaei told Tasnim:
The purpose of the Pakistani army commander's trip was to exchange messages between Iran and the United States.
In recent days, discussions were held on issues where there were disagreements.
With the contradictory positions of the United States, we cannot say that this process is changing. Views have come closer, but not in the sense of an agreement, rather to be able to reach a solution.

🇺🇸🤝🇷🇸 Bosnia’s international envoy quits after 'enormous' US pressure
Christian Schmidt, a German conservative politician, who has served in the post since August 2021, announced his resignation on May 12 citing a "personal decision."
But when asked by Germany's Augsburger Allgemeine daily whether US President Donald Trump had pushed him to leave his job as the international community’s top envoy in Bosnia, Schmidt acknowledged that Washington had played a part in his decision.
The high representative holds significant powers to uphold the 1995 Dayton Agreement, which ended the Bosnian War. The UN-backed office includes the authority to dismiss elected officials, enact laws and establish new institutions.
Schmidt was at odds with the former president of the Republic of Srpska, one of two entities making up the federal state of Bosnia & Herzegovina, Milorad Dodik. The conflict began when Schmidt was appointed High Representative without a UN Security Council Resolution as is stipulated in the 1995 Dayton Agreement. Russia vetoed the resolution in 2021 but Schmidt's appointment went through regardless and in Dodik's eyes, Schmidt's rule was illegitimate.
Dodik was forced to resign as president of Srpska by the Bosnian Supreme Court which forbade him from holding any political office for the next 6 years due to defying the decisions taken by Christian Schmidt who, among other things, modified Bosnia's electoral law.
Dodik and his supporters called the trial a political one and initially refused to obey the court order, threatening to secede from Bosnia in June 2025, raising fears that the conflict between Serbs, Bosnians and Croats may flare up again but Dodik and his supporters admitted defeat and a new president was named in Dodik's place.
Besides being a staunch ally of Russia, Dodik has cultivated relations with Israeli PM, Benjamin Netanyahu. Dodik was one of the first politicians to condemn Hamas after the October 7th 2023 attack and even traveled to Israel in January 2026. Israel does not recognise the Bosnian genocide with many Israeli politicians and historians arguing that calling it the Bosnian genocide "cheapens" the term "genocide".
Dodik has also been a supporter of Donald Trump in the 2024 elections. The support obtained Dodik the removal of sanctions placed on him and his allies by the Biden Administration in late 2025 and now resulted in the removal of one his enemies.

🇮🇷⚔️🇺🇸🇦🇪🇮🇱 Iran will consider any attack on its territory a resumption of the 3rd Gulf War and would target Israel and the GCC countries regardless if the U.S. or Israel act alone
A source close to the IRGC told DropSite that the Iranian retaliation in case of an attack by the U.S. or Israel would result in the oil & gas infrastructure of the GCC countries coming under attack and the Houthis closing the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait, blocking the Red Sea, which remained off-limits in the first phase of the conflict.
The U.S. and Israel have also continued to replenish their depleted assets in the region. But, Khoshchesm stated, the Iranian view is that despite the level of U.S. force deployed, having weathered the first confrontation and maintained its missile and drone capabilities, Tehran ultimately maintains escalation dominance in the standoff. He stated that Iran will not concede by force to any U.S. demands and would even consider escalating the confrontation themselves based on what happens.
“The UAE is looking for trouble, they are building defenses around refineries to save them from drone attacks and preparing themselves for a new round. They want to follow this path to the end, to stand beside Israel and become a second Israel in the region,” Sani said.
“The only country that refuses to accept this reality is the U.S., but they will have to accept it soon—either before or after a new round of war. They have only one way forward: to come along with Iran and ask for the Strait to be opened through diplomacy.… Eventually they will realize like other countries that there is no military option to open the Strait, and that the U.S. needs to reach an agreement with Iran.”
