🇷🇺⚔️🇺🇦 The Financial Times writes that Russia has destroyed over 200 gas stations in retaliation for Ukrainian strikes on Russian gas stations.
FT sources report that virtually all gas stations on the E40 Poltava-Kharkov highway are destroyed.
The E40 highway which runs between Kiev and Kharkov is one of Ukraine's most important logistics arteries on which most trucks and busses travel.

🇮🇱 🇪🇸 🇵🇸 Itamar Ben-Gvir on X: My congratulations to the President of the Government of Spain, Pedro Sánchez, for his profound commitment to welcoming immigration and "human diversity."
As someone who demonstrates great concern for Hamas and the residents of Gaza, I call on you to translate words into actions: open the doors of Spain and grant refuge to the residents of Gaza who seek to emigrate. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute a little more to Spain's "human diversity."

🇪🇸🇲🇦⚡️- Around 25,000 immigrants have already returned to Morocco according to officials.
The Spanish government is falsely implying these thousands of returned immigrants were reconducted thanks to local law enforcement. They were not. Most of the returned immigrants are from yesterday's initial waves, and they went back to Morocco as they had no means to cross into mainland Spain or did not find food or a place to sleep.
🇩🇰🇪🇺🇪🇸🇲🇦⚡️ — Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen says the EU should immediately consider suspending Spain from the Schengen Agreement as migrants swarm Ceuta.

🇺🇸🇮🇱⚔️🇮🇷 Israeli PM, Benjamin Netanyahu and president Donald Trump, reportedly discussed during their meeting earlier this week, a land blockade on Iranian exports and imports.
It is understood that the US president and the Israeli prime minister discussed increasing economic pressure on Iran “through kinetic and non-kinetic means” when the pair met in the Oval Office on Tuesday.
The plan would probably require the US and Israel to press Iran’s neighbours and regional partners to tighten or close border crossings, restricting the flow of exports and imports.
“What if you just blocked the land? Suppose Iran can’t bring anything in and cannot take anything out. Anything will happen,” a senior Israeli official told The Telegraph, raising one possibility the two countries have discussed.
Sean MacFarland, a retired three-star lieutenant general, said that while a land blockade would be “almost impossible”, “if you take away Iran’s ability to trade... then you are isolating them economically. That’s the way to bring them to their knees”.
He added: “The economic approach is the concise one, but it must have kinetic elements.
“Iran borders a whole bunch of countries over land, and Iraq is very aligned with Iran. That would make it very difficult to stop any support from getting in.”
A land blockade could target key border crossings such as Incheh Borun and Sarakhs-Sarahs, which connect Iran and Turkmenistan.
Iran shares borders with Iraq, Turkey, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, Armenia and Azerbaijan, meaning the leaders would have to persuade these countries, many of which they are not allied with, to co-operate.
Washington may view Pakistan and Iraq, which are not considered its close allies in the region, as weak links.
If any of the seven countries bordering Iran agreed to co-operate, they would face their own economic consequences and the threat of retaliatory strikes by the Islamic Republic.

🇫🇷🇪🇸 France reinforces controls at Spanish border after mass migrant arrivals in Ceuta
French Interior Minister Laurent Nunez announced Friday that France would strengthen border checks with Spain following recent mass migrant arrivals at Spain's North African enclave of Ceuta.
"In response to the situation observed in the enclave of Ceuta, I instructed, as early as last night, that controls at the Spanish border be reinforced without delay," Nunez wrote on US social media platform X.
Nunez also said he was activating a rapid border intervention force to carry out in-depth checks.

🇺🇸🇺🇦 Donald Trump ‘not sure’ he will let Ukraine build Patriot missiles
Donald Trump has said he has not decided whether he will allow Ukraine to produce Patriot surface-to-air interceptor missiles, casting doubt on whether Washington will agree to one of Kiev’s top priorities.
The US president said in a phone interview with the FT on Thursday that he was “not sure” whether Washington would grant Ukraine a licence to produce Patriot missiles, adding that “we’re looking at it”.
“It’s a very extraordinary weapon, and . . . we have to be a little bit careful of who we license to. We don’t really license equipment.”
Trump’s comments came just two days after he met Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky at the White House. Zelensky had described the meeting as “good” and said the two leaders had discussed “Patriot interceptor production and several other ideas”.
The US president had said in early July at the NATO summit in Turkey that Washington would grant Kiev a licence to produce Patriot missiles.
📝 Anon: One of the reasons Trump received the backing of the deep state in 2024 was because they thought he would be capable to fool the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, into a new Minsk-style ceasefire where Russia would agree to stop advancing while America would try and integrate Ukraine or what remains of it, into its empire.
This is what the goal of the 2025 Alaskan summit was but Putin was burned one too many times by Washington's duplicitous nature to trust America's "commitment" to peace in Ukraine without seeing some proof first. After the summit, the U.S. still sent ammunition and interceptors to Ukraine and most importantly, continued to provide Ukraine with satellite imagery and high speed internet for its drones which is a clear signal for Putin that the U.S. is not committed to peace.
Trump still says in public that he wants to "put an end" to the war in Ukraine but denying Kiev a license for PAC-2 or PAC-3 interceptors is not a big concession for Russia to come back to the negotiation table. Russia made it clear numerous times that it won't walk away from Ukraine without the Donbass but the EU and Ukraine refuse this concession in principle, so the war will continue.

🇮🇱❌🕊🇵🇸 Netanyahu torpedoes Trump's deal within hours of Hamas accepting decommissioning its weapons
Netanyahu is "pouring cold water on the optimism by claiming that the disarmament proposal did not meet Israel’s demands"
US official says "Hamas did make a deal… & Hamas did come through by getting the bodies out & the hostages, so our intention is to hold Israel to its commitments as well and make sure we can be a fair broker."
Even with Hamas' acceptance of decommissioning, the road ahead is still long and thorny. Israel has a lot of tricks and loopholes to prevent any peace deal with Hamas and an end to the war in Gaza.

🇺🇸⚔️🇮🇷 President Donald Trump called his advisers for a meeting at Camp David seeking a solution to break the stalemate with Iran
U.S. economic growth has slowed. Inflation is still stuck above the Federal Reserve’s target rate of 2% and prices remain high.

No answers came out of two days of meetings between Trump’s top officials and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who left Washington this week with no clear shared path forward on Iran, according to a senior Israeli official granted anonymity to describe the closed-door talks.
Now Trump must decide whether to continue pursuing diplomacy, put increased economic pressure on the regime or take major military action to force Iran to make concessions.
