🇪🇺🇷🇺 Igor Sushko on X: Europeans are selling 110-ton barrel forging machines to Russia, to help Russia mass produce tanks and artillery to murder Europeans.
"A Spanish firm has been linked to the delivery of a 110-ton forging machine to Russia, raising concerns about potential violations of international sanctions and Moscow’s efforts to sustain its artillery production amid the war in Ukraine, according to a report by Militarnyi.
Forward Technical Trade SL, based in Albacete, Spain, reportedly sold a used computer numerical control (CNC) forging machine to Russia’s AZK Group for $1.3 million. The equipment, manufactured in 1983 by Austrian company Gesellschaft für Fertigung (GFM), is capable of producing large-caliber artillery barrels, the report said."

🇺🇦🇷🇺 Amerikanets on X: The war is sometimes described in terms of the Russians having destroyed two or three "armies," in overlapping phases. The first army was the one Ukraine had in February 2022, which at that time already included donated western equipment, but was mostly comprised of Soviet and domestically produced systems. This army was equipped with AK pattern rifles, 152mm Soviet artillery pieces, MLRS systems like the Grad, T-64, T-72 and T-80 tanks, MiG-29s and Sukhois, and S-300, Buk, and other Soviet air defense systems.
This army was largely destroyed during 2022-2023. To better understand this, let's take Ukraine's T-72's as an example. The AFU operated around 100-150 of the type at the beginning of 2022, and probably had around that number of refurbishable hulls in storage, in various conditions. LostArmour (which maintains exceptionally high standards) counted 150 visually confirmed T-72 losses for the AFU by October of 2023. Add whatever percentage you feel comfortable with considering only some losses will be caught on video, and it's safe to assume the "first army's" operational T-72s were destroyed by the end of 2023.
Next we should consider the "second army," which was the one composed of Soviet military equipment donated by ex-Warsaw Pact countries. Again using the T-72 as an example, the AFU has received an astounding 580 of them, with around half coming from Poland, while the other half is a mixture of countries like North Macedonia and "Avenger" models modernized in the Czech Republic and paid for by countries like Denmark, the Netherlands, and even the US. It's safe to assume that not all of these tanks were in the best of condition, and some may have been sent in order to be cannibalized for parts or refurbished.
LostArmour counts 294 visually confirmed T-72 losses for the AFU since the war began. Again add whatever you think is appropriate for losses not caught on camera, and a good chunk of the "second army" has been attrited, but there should still be a few hundred T-72s remaining in it.
The third "army" is of course the one composed entirely of western equipment. This army is now, as Patricia shows, essentially destroyed. This army was smaller the first army in some dimensions, and much smaller than the second in nearly all dimensions except vehicles like MRAPs and MANPADS.
The phases of the war, with three overlapping armies suffering attrition, are easy to see when looking at the statistics. LostArmour helpfully provides a stacked bar chart showing western (blue) and Soviet (red) equipment losses over time. The large numbers of Soviet vehicles being destroyed in the initial phase represent the destruction of the bulk of the first army, the third army's losses cease at the beginning of 2025 as its last components are destroyed, while the steady trickle into the second army of donated Soviet equipment allows it to outlast the third army.

🇪🇺🤝🇮🇱 EU shelves anti-Israel measures after Brussels sees ‘positive signs’ in Gaza aid situation
"The European Union will keep a close watch on how Israel implements this common understanding and the pledges," the EU's top diplomat said.
“We see positive signs. We see more trucks and supplies are reaching Gaza. We see more entry points opened. We also see electricity lines being repaired. But Israel needs to take more concrete steps to improve the humanitarian situation on the ground,” Kallas told reporters.
“But if the situation is not going to improve, then the member states are also willing to take next steps. The goal is to improve the situation, because it is really untenable, the humanitarian situation,” she added.

🇺🇦 Biggest English language newspaper in Ukraine, KyivPost, regularly cited and used as a source by Western medias, turned on Ukrainian president Vladimir Zelensky, after the arrest of Vitaly Shabunin, an anti-corruption activist.
In a premiere for the newspaper and Ukraine as a whole, the authors openly criticise Zelensky and Ukraine’s struggle to protect “democracy”, dismissing Shabunin’s charges of “draft dodging” as an excuse meant to punish him for his exposés against government corruption.
Shabunin’s investigations focused on Zelensky’s right hand man, Andrey Yermak and his deputy, Oleg Tatarov, whom are alleged to have embezzled funds meant to purchase Western weapons.

🇺🇸 Dries van Langenhove on X: Even though I have my own difficulties raising enough funds to keep my fight going, I want to share Aarvoll's crowdfunding because it needs to be successful for two reasons:
1️⃣ Nationalists need to understand that the only way our opponents will lessen or even stop their attacks, is when they see that every attack leads to massive solidarity.
A lot can be said about moral and political support, but financials are always the first target. Right now our opponents' attacks are successful because —except for rare instances like Shiloh's— their attacks lead to financial ruin for us. They succeeded in bleeding me dry. A lot of other activists also have to take steps back to keep their family from bankruptcy. This will only ever stop once every one of us who is attacked, is not only made whole but GAINS from the attacks. It's crazy that this is controversial, but yes, our heroes should be rewarded.
2️⃣ When the political struggle fails, and there are many signs that this will be the case, our hope will lie in enclaves all over the world where our people can live on and work towards a renaissance. Aarvoll is one of the few people leading in this uncharted terrain, preparing the (juridical) way for all of us. Even without the attacks by the ADL and others, this project deserves our support.

Beijing and Moscow are drawing closer amid ultimatums, The Telegraph reports.
After President Trump warned of possible 100% tariffs on Russia’s trade partners unless Moscow makes concessions, China signaled it would not abandon its support for the Kremlin.
Chinese leader Xi Jinping, during a meeting with Lavrov, said that trust between the two countries has “deepened” and that they are “building a new type of international relations” in which they must “strengthen mutual support.”
The Kremlin did not ignore Trump’s statement. Deputy Foreign Minister Ryabkov said that if the West does not respond to Russia’s “readiness to negotiate,” Moscow will continue pursuing its goals through the “special military operation.”
Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov went even further, claiming sanctions mean nothing to Russia.
“There are already an unprecedented number of sanctions against us — we’re managing. I have no doubt we’ll continue to cope. Knowing our partners, I don’t see how they could abandon their independent policy. They have commitments,” Lavrov said.
