🇳🇱🇨🇳 Netherlands cracks down on China-owned chip firm over security risk

The Dutch government said on Sunday that it had taken the "highly exceptional" decision to intervene at Chinese-owned chipmaker Nexperia over a potential "risk to Dutch and European economic security".

The Netherlands-based firm's owner Wingtech said on Monday that it will take actions to protect its rights and will seek government support.

The Dutch government said its economic affairs ministry had invoked its Goods Availability Act over "acute signals of serious governance shortcomings" within Nexperia.

The law is designed to allow the Hague to intervene in companies under exceptional circumstances. These include threats to the country's economic security and to ensure the supply of critical goods.

Nexperia makes semiconductors used in cars and consumer electronics.

🇷🇺🇺🇸🇪🇺 The Russian defense industry is implementing long term efforts to increase T-90 tank production and recreate Russia’s pre-war tank reserves, indicating that Russia intends to present a long-term military threat to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).

Recent open-source data indicates that Russia is also increasing its refurbishment of T-72 tanks, possibly for use on the battlefield in Ukraine in the short term or to reestablish its tank reserve to threaten NATO in the medium term.

Russian forces are still using tanks to advance on the battlefield during infrequent mechanized assaults when Ukraine’s drone defenses are degraded, indicating that tanks remain and will remain a relevant weapon on the battlefield under proper tactical conditions.

Russia may be able to pose a significant threat to NATO on a timeline much sooner than 2036 and without necessarily reconstituting its tank fleet.

European authorities continue to report increased unidentified drone sightings in European airspace near military facilities.

📝Count Dankula: The funniest thing about all of this is if you are the victim of a crime and you call the police, or even if you put the work in and track down the criminal yourself and call the police like "hey I found the guy I'm literally outside his house and I can literally see my stolen property through his window", the police STILL won't show up.

Even when cops have a positive ID, CCTV footage, the guys name, address, everything, they don't show up.

So trying to push the whole "this will help us identify suspects faster" b*llsh*t doesn't wash when you already don't do anything after you identify suspects.

We know what this is really for, and I wish Tony Blair, the phantom of the opera of British politics that he is, would just f*ck off.

🇩🇪🚩 German ANTIFA burned down the historic Thurn-und-Taxis hunting lodge in Donaustauf, Bavaria.

The hunting lodge belongs to the Thurn-und-Taxis Princely family, who can trace back their ancestry to Lombardy in the Middle Ages. By the 16th century, they were fully germanised and were granted by Holy Roman Emperor, Rudolf II, the privilege of becoming the trusted couriers of the House of Habsburg.

Leonhard I von Taxis was appointed Postmaster General and created a private postal service which operated on the territories of the HRE, Spanish Netherlands, the Kingdom of Spain and Burgundy. In 1615 the title of Postmaster General became hereditary.

The post offices founded by the Thurn-und-Taxis company formed laid the basis of the German and Austrian postal services later on in the 19th century.

The hunting lodge in Donaustauf was built in the late 17th century and served as a private retreat. In the 1810s the property was expanded, adding an animal garden and a hunting ground in the nearby forest. In 1888 it obtained its current name “Jagdhaus Thiergarten”. In 1969, the Thurn-und-Taxis family sold it to the Golf- und Land-Club Regensburg who opened it to the public. It was a popular location for weddings, corporate events and other leisure activities.

When the fire broke out at the "Jagdhaus Thiergarten", the police didn't suspect an arson until the perpetrators sent a letter to the local police precinct explaining the motive behind the decision to burn down the property. The letter reads:

“On the night of 05. to 06. In October we gained access to the hunting lodge Thiergarten near Regensburg at 23:30. Several fire devices have led to the complete destruction of the castle.”

The act is to be understood as a warning to the “big capitalist” Gloria Fürstin von Thurn und Taxis, according to the letter published on the portal “Indymedia”. “Seid (sic) Centuries stands Thurn and Taxis for monarchy, contempt for human beings and a class society.”

“The nobility in Germany must finally be expropriated and the living space of the Schloss Emmeram must be converted into social housing.”

Other motives mentioned by the perpetrators was a 2018 meeting between Gloria Fürstin von Thurn und Taxis and Steve Bannon in Rome and her anti-abortion views.

However, due to Far-Left Antifa agitators provocations, things turned violent.

📝 The Falange event was scheduled for noon in the Plaza de la Provincia. Participants waved Spanish flags and chanted slogans such as "Everything is Spain. The Basque Country is Spain."

🔥 However, the incidents began an hour and a half earlier, around 10:50, when Antifa militants began gathering to try to prevent the event from taking place.

👊 Clashes between Antifascists, Falangists and la Ertzaintza (Basque Autonomous Police) broke out as Antifas tried to raid the Falangist gathering and got beaten back not only by Falangists, but by Basque Police forces as well

The Falangist activists were seen singing "Cara al sol" (Face to the Sun, the Francoist/Falangist song) as clashes and attacks spreaded across the Basque capital under chants of "They don't fool us, Vasconia is Spain"

1. IEA (Afghan Taliban) launched artillery and mortar strikes at several Pakistani posts and installations along the pak-afghan border, mainly the large border crossings.

2. There is ongoing fighting at at least 7 locations along the border, likely more. Mostly with artillery, mortars and MGs.

3. 2 Pakistani soldiers and one civilian is dead, two are injured

4. 5 Afghan soldiers are reported to be killed, one Afghan post is confirmed destroyed

6. PAF is currently doing air strikes against Afghan forces, Afghanistan has mobilized several thousand troops towards the border, Pakistan already had a large border force present due to TTPs border incursions.

7. Both sides are claiming to have taken over or destroyed border posts belonging to each other, this is likely true as there are many posts on the border and some are usually empty when gunfights start, these are located in porous areas of the border where one can easily cross over, so it’s likely there are ground forces of either side on each others soil, but not by much.
