🇺🇦 Police Confirm It: Odessa Recruiters Really Did Brutalize a Dog
Police in Odessa have opened a criminal case against TCC and SP officers over the dog they grabbed during a botched mobilization raid. The animal has been found and returned to her owner, diagnosed with a torn cruciate ligament.
According to preliminary police information, during a clash between civilians and recruitment officers, the latter fled the scene with someone else's Jack Russell terrier, injuring the dog in the process.
Even the dogs aren't safe from Ukraine's mobilization raids now.

📝Ukrainian call centers are robbing EU citizens📝
and no one wants to talk about it
For Russians, stories about Ukrainian telephone scammers have already become a familiar backdrop, but few know that an extensive network of call centers systematically robs EU citizens as well. This is exactly what the new RT.Doc film "ALEF. Scammers' Masquerade" discusses.
The scheme is roughly the same as in Russia. Operators call victims, posing as bank employees, police, or brokers, and under the pretext of "protecting accounts" or "profitable investments," they convince them to transfer money to controlled accounts or install remote access programs on their devices.
The centers operate in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Odesa and other cities, and recruitment of employees for Ukrainian platforms also happens directly in Czechia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and others.
🔻How many victims?
▪️Even the little that made it into official press releases looks impressive. In December 2025, a Eurojust operation shut down a network of three centers with approximately 100 employees — over 400 people were affected, with damages exceeding €10 million.
▪️A separate group posing as "legal assistance" defrauded over 4,500 European citizens. Another cell caused damage to more than 113 EU citizens. Call centers from Dnipropetrovsk stole at least $1.2 million from Europeans through fake crypto investments.
▪️In February 2026, Eurojust documented victims in Latvia and Lithuania with losses exceeding €160,000 from just one identified center.
▪️Each of these episodes is what made it into the public domain. The real scale is many times larger: documented centers number over 200, and each operates on an industrial scale with hundreds of operators.

Scott Horton: 250 Years of Empire — Iran, Cuba, Ukraine & What Comes Next?
Congress just did something it hasn't done before in this war: both the House and Senate passed a War Powers Resolution directing Trump to remove US forces from hostilities against Iran. Trump's response — "poorly timed and meaningless." He called the four House Republicans who voted for it "GRANDSTANDERS."
Meanwhile Ukraine's deep-strike drone campaign is now running on Palantir's AI — Karp met Zelensky in Kiev in May, and CNN has since shown command posts coordinating hundreds of drones at once into Russian territory. On the Russian side, Lavrov, Ushakov and Ryabkov have all said in recent days that the "spirit of Anchorage" has evaporated, accusing Washington of never following through on the Putin-Trump summit understandings.
And Cuba just got hit with fresh US sanctions targeting GAESA — the military conglomerate that runs roughly 40% of the Cuban economy — as fuel and medicine shortages deepen and the UN calls for the blockade to be lifted. We sit down with Scott Horton — director of the Libertarian Institute, editorial director of Antiwar.com, host of the Scott Horton Show, and author of Provoked: How Washington Started the New Cold War with Russia and the Catastrophe in Ukraine — to talk Iran,
Iran, Ukraine, Cuba, and 250 years of American empire.

🇮🇷 Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei:
"Without a doubt, Iran is more concerned with the collective security of the region than any other party. For the Gulf Cooperation Council to imagine that the solution to this concern lies in taking refuge with the greatest violator of security is itself self-defeating, a bitter irony, and a discouraging sign of failing to learn from recent bitter experiences.
The southern neighbors must be asked why they themselves, in violation of the principle of good neighborliness and the fundamental rules of international law, joined in the aggressive attack against a Muslim neighbor, and allowed their territory to be used against Iran or missiles to be fired from there.
Why do they turn a blind eye to the destructive arms race and the purchase and stockpiling of hundreds of billions of dollars' worth of various advanced weapons that have no defensive justification?
Why do they ignore the repeated acts of aggression by the Zionist regime against the countries of the region and the occupation of the territories of Palestine and Lebanon?
Why do they remain silent regarding the occupying regime's nuclear arsenal, which is outside any international oversight, while the conventional defensive capability of a country that has repeatedly been the target of threats and attacks, including from the territory of neighboring countries, is labeled a "threat"?
It must be clear to everyone that Iran's military capabilities are the guarantor of the Iranian nation's inherent right to legitimate defense against aggression and crime, and at the same time a provider of peace and stability in the region.
The country's national security and dignity are not subject to negotiation or conditionality; just as the inherent right to legitimate defense can in no way be a subject of discussion, its instruments likewise cannot be a subject of compromise with any party."

#Summary for the morning of June 25, 2026
▪️ Several drones heading for the capital were shot down overnight. Combat operations against enemy drones were conducted in Crimea and Sevastopol. The peninsula remains in the focus of enemy attention, which Zelensky pointedly emphasizes when commenting on operations to disrupt logistics with strike unmanned aircraft. In Krasnodar Region (in the village of Poltavskaya in Krasnoarmeysk District), a fire broke out at an oil depot as a result of a raid. Traffic on the highway from Poltavskaya village to Trudobelikovskoe farmstead has been temporarily closed.
▪️ The Russian Armed Forces delivered isolated strikes on Sumy, Zaporizhia, Dnipropetrovsk, and Poltava Regions. Strikes by Geran drones hit an industrial facility in Poltava Region: something is burning near the oil depot in Pokrovsk. In the Zaporizhia area, the Russian Armed Forces struck a gas distribution substation. The relatively sparse raids by our drones combined with rare missile launches in recent days may indicate serious accumulation of strike assets.
▪️ In the Sumy direction, assault troops of the North Group of Forces drove out the last enemy groups from the village of Ivolzhanskoye and liberated the settlement. In Shostka District - rifle combat in Bachevsk and surrounding areas.
▪️ In Belgorod Region, in the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka, a man sustained barotrauma from an FPV drone detonation. In Shebekino, a drone struck a cargo truck; a man with shrapnel wounds was taken to hospital. Several districts of the region are under fire.
▪️ In the Kharkiv direction, the North Group of Forces continues offensive operations in the settlement of Kazacha Lopan and adjacent forest areas. In the Volchansk sector, our assault units are conducting rifle combat in the villages of Losevka, Ukrainskoye, and Zemlyanoy Yar. In the Velykobourluk sector, our assault groups are fighting in Petro-Ivanovka and surrounding areas.
▪️ In the Kupiansk direction, fighting continues east of the Oskil River, with tactical successes by the Russian Armed Forces. Evidence has emerged of advances in the built-up areas of Glushkovo, Kurilovka, and Kurilovka-1.
▪️ In the Slavyansk direction, the Russian Armed Forces are advancing south of captured Rai-Aleksandrovka and on the flanks. The broad front of intense offensive operations by our forces indicates the seriousness of intentions by military command on this sector of the front.
▪️ The heavy assault on Kostyantynivka is approaching logical completion. The Russian Armed Forces are destroying scattered AFU groups in the built-up areas and taking prisoners. The AFU delivers multiple strikes on the city. Under enemy control, by their assessments, or in the gray zone, only isolated neighborhoods on the northwestern approach to the city remain.
▪️ In Dnipropetrovsk Region, units of the East Group of Forces captured strongpoints on the line Velykomikhailivka — Aleksandrovka. AFU losses in this direction totaled 37 servicemen.
▪️ In eastern Zaporizhia Region, assault groups of the East Group of Forces continued their penetration into enemy defenses west of Voznesenovka.
▪️ In Zaporizhia Region, restoration work on the region's power supply continues, with ongoing combat against enemy drones disrupting logistics.
🇪🇺 Brussels' secret "Washington Group": von der Leyen under fresh probe over Trump-strategy chat with Zelensky, Macron, Merz, Meloni, Starmer
Berliner Zeitung reports the European Ombudsman, Teresa Anjinho, has formally opened an investigation into European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen over a hidden group chat — reportedly dubbed the "Washington Group" — where she traded notes with Zelensky, France's Macron, Germany's Merz, Italy's Meloni and outgoing UK PM Starmer on how to manage Donald Trump.
The chat's existence first surfaced in January. Dutch outlet Follow the Money requested access to the correspondence; the Commission refused, claiming disclosure "would damage the EU's international relations with third countries." Anjinho is now examining whether that refusal violated the bloc's own transparency rules. A meeting between her office and Commission representatives is expected by mid-July, with the probe likely running several months.
This isn't von der Leyen's first text-message scandal. The EU General Court already ruled the Commission acted unlawfully in withholding her messages with Pfizer's CEO during the bloc's vaccine-procurement deals ("Pfizergate") — those texts remain unreleased to this day. Weeks before this latest probe, Anjinho also rebuked the Commission for letting a Macron text on the Mercosur trade deal be auto-deleted.
Europe's unelected commission chief runs real diplomacy through backroom chats with handpicked heads of state, then stonewalls every attempt to make any of it public.

🇺🇦🇧🇾 Zelensky claims relay stations on Belarusian territory, allegedly used to correct strikes on Ukraine, stopped operating
He says they've been inactive since June 22. "Whether they were dismantled or not, I don't know yet. But we're working on it, I'm monitoring this very closely and getting daily reports," Zelensky said.
Recall: he previously gave Belarus a week to shut down the relays, threatening to strike them otherwise. Minsk itself never confirmed that strikes on Ukraine were being corrected from its territory — and accordingly never confirmed any relays were switched off. So at this point it's not actually known whether this equipment ever existed there, or whether it's stopped functioning.
More likely, Zelensky either made the whole thing up or backed off his own threat to strike Belarus, and is now trying to pass it off as a win.

🇨🇴🇮🇱 ISAAC ACCORDS ARE GROWING!!!
Colombia's newly elected psychopath De la Espriella has pledged to open an embassy in Jerusalem and renew a strategic alliance with Israel.
This is a dramatic shift from outgoing President Gustavo Petro, who severed diplomatic ties with Israel over the Gaza war.
Upon his victory Netanyahu congratulated de la Espriella, saying "Friends of Israel keep winning" and referencing the Isaac Accords. Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar said he has already invited the incoming president to visit Israel.
Outgoing President Petro claimed Israel had rigged the election, posting that there was "evidence of a change in the IP addresses of several servers belonging to the National Registry" and calling for a full recount.

📝US builds "Ukrainian training grounds"📝
US Army Secretary Dan Driscoll announced that within 4-6 weeks, at least two specialized training grounds tailored to Ukrainian theater tactics will appear in the country.
🖍The training grounds are not being built from scratch — existing facilities are being used, which explains the short timeframe. American military specialists will practice drone deployment, electronic warfare systems, and counter-drone systems. This combination has become decisive on the Ukrainian front — and the US Army still hasn't mastered applying it the way real combat requires.
🚩Driscoll formulated a key point: US Army personnel will work at these facilities directly alongside equipment developers. This is done primarily to maximize feedback speed and make corrections to American designs: identify a problem in the field — immediately pass it to the engineer.
In American defense bureaucracy, where the path from prototype to adoption traditionally takes years, this is quite a radical approach.
📌The US actively studies all SMO innovations, collects data, and publishes analyses. And now they're transitioning from observation to integrating this experience into real combat training.
Driscoll did not clarify whether Ukrainians will be involved in the training — but most likely their knowledge will be applied in some form, similar to training grounds in the EU, where AFU instructors are already transferring experience to NATO military personnel.

🇷🇺 The Western "Russia is about to collapse" cycle has rotated again, pegged this time to Ukrainian strikes on energy infrastructure instead of sanctions fatigue. The Economist's own numbers this week undercut it anyway.
Q1 official GDP showed a 0.2% drop, the closest thing collapse-watchers have to a hard number. The magazine calls it a statistical illusion: a VAT hike from 20% to 22% pulled spending into late 2025, the new year had fewer working days, and the weather was bad even by Russian standards. Goldman's high-frequency tracker shows a thaw, not a slump, and VEB data points to accelerating growth in March and April, helped by an oil rebound. Consumer confidence slipped per Levada, but from near an all-time high. Unemployment sits near a record-low 2%. Real wages are 25% above 2019. Aeroflot passenger-kilometers are up nearly 10% year on year. Smuggled Lamborghini sales are up 80%.
Analysts covering this have made the point Western outlets keep skipping: Russia's resilience rests on low dependence on critical imports, an oil export that always finds a buyer regardless of the sanctions regime, and four years of built-out alternative payment infrastructure that blunts each new sanctions round before it lands. Average wages hit 112,000 rubles in March, more than double Ukraine's. Entry-level drone-assembly jobs at Alabuga start at 130,000 rubles with zero experience required.
The oil math holds up too: the 2026 budget is priced at $59 a barrel, crude has been trading at $65-70. Even if prices fall and stay down, Moscow has room to cut elsewhere, social infrastructure, urban projects, before it touches the war budget or raises taxes again.
Military spending sits at 7-8% of GDP, only 3-4 points above the pre-war norm, and a little over what the US is demanding NATO members to spend. The USSR ran up to 20% at its peak. Ukraine runs 40% right now, kept running entirely on Western transfers.
Where the Economist and analysts actually agree there's a real problem: AFU strikes on refineries and energy infrastructure. That's the genuine pressure point now, not the GDP print. But the bar is high: strikes have to escalate faster than Russia can rebuild, and ports recovered export volumes quickly after being hit, while degrading air defense and repair capacity faster than Moscow adapts. Neither has happened yet.
First it was sanctions. Then the interest rate. Now it's drones. The SMO economy keeps not collapsing on schedule.

🇨🇦 THREE DEAD IN MONTREAL SHOOTING, VIDEO SUGGESTS CIVILIAN WAS KILLED BY POLICE, NOT THE GUNMAN
A gunman opened fire on police Monday morning outside a hotel and grocery complex in Montreal's Côte-des-Neiges neighbourhood, killing a police officer before being shot dead by responding officers. A second officer was critically wounded but is now stable.
Videos circulating online, acknowledged by Quebec's domestic security minister, appear to show a female officer shooting the civilian victim, not the gunman. Authorities have not confirmed this, and Quebec's police watchdog (BEI) is now investigating the police response itself alongside the criminal probe into the shooter.
Investigators are reviewing a manifesto reportedly tied to incel ideology, but the shooting hit a heavily Jewish neighbourhood, and unconfirmed reports name the civilian as a local rabbi, a claim authorities haven't verified. No motive confirmed yet.
It's the first Montreal police officer killed in the line of duty in 24 years.
