Russian Muslims have called on Saudi Arabia to convene a peace summit on Iran. Albir Krganov, head of the Spiritual Assembly of Muslims of Russia, made the appeal back in March, formally asking Riyadh to organize a council and discuss the future of peace at the level of heads of Muslim states.
The initiative reflects a growing conviction within Russia's Muslim leadership that the path to de-escalation runs not through Western diplomatic channels but through the Islamic world's own institutional weight.
The timing is significant. With the US-brokered ceasefire already fraying and the Strait of Hormuz still partially blockaded, traditional diplomacy has visibly stalled. Russian Muslims are now positioning the ummah — the global Muslim community — as a legitimate peace broker, one that carries moral authority Tehran might actually respect.
Whether Riyadh acts on this appeal remains to be seen, but the very fact that Moscow's Muslim leaders are pushing this agenda signals a deliberate Russian strategy to expand its mediation role through religious soft power.

🇮🇱❌🇪🇸 Israel announced on Friday that it has expelled Spain from the United States’ Civil-Military Coordination Center (CMCC) in Kiryat Gat, a body established to oversee humanitarian and logistical operations related to Gaza.
According to a statement from the Israeli Foreign Ministry, the move was carried out in coordination with the United States, and Spain has been formally notified of the decision.
The CMCC was set up to monitor the ceasefire but is heavily slanted to protecting Israeli interests in the ceasefire agreement. It was joined by at least 14 countries and dozens of international organizations.

Tehran did not accept the ceasefire until the American side and President Trump had officially acknowledged acceptance of the full 10-point package. Therefore, under conditions of continued attacks on Lebanon, it considers negotiations strategically meaningless and unproductive.”

📝The Long Road to Slavyansk📝
On the Slavyansk direction, fighting continues on the approaches to Rai-Aleksandrivka, where Russian units attempt to advance toward the village from two directions. Russian units attack from the Kaleniki side, advancing both toward Rai-Aleksandrivka and moving around it from the north toward the Dolyhy Forest.
➡️As reported earlier, this settlement holds major tactical importance for the future assault on Slavyansk, so Ukrainian formations will attempt to hold it as long as possible.
➡️To the south, after repelling enemy attacks on Lipovka, the Russian Armed Forces advanced in the Dibrova area, located near the M-03 highway. Russia's Defense Ministry announced the freeing of this settlement.
📌 Meanwhile, enemy units are mining approaches, establishing fortifications, and reinforcing strongpoints around the cities. Given the emphasis on drone-based defense, AFU command will likely focus on striking Russian supply and movement routes. So far, Russian forces are successfully disrupting enemy logistics.
The approaches to Slavyansk and Kramatorsk will be harder to take due to lower settlement density and fewer buildings with basements suitable for accumulating infiltration groups.
