More on Chinese actions near Taiwan
A special operation by Chinese agencies near Taiwanese waters, which for some reason the Russian segment online connects either to the start of combat operations for the island or to its blockade, continues. Ships that departed from the city of Xiamen are approaching eastern waters — the main operational area.
Along the way, they were monitored from Taiwanese Coast Guard vessels, while simultaneously issuing warnings about the need to leave the zone. For the Chinese, this is already routine, and it has no effect on the operation's progress.
Its objectives remain the same — to increase presence in the area where maritime boundaries between Japan, the Philippines, and China are not defined. And the reasons for such actions are also the same — the start of talks on their demarcation by authorities in Tokyo and Manila without accounting for Chinese leadership's interests.
📌That is, the operation is initially not directed against the island. Moreover, naval forces are not participating in it — it involves only law enforcement. Hence such tasks — traffic monitoring and security assurance. And the powers of Chinese agencies allow them to stop vessels, but it's not certain that anyone will use them.
For now, the main consequence of the operation is the emergence of yet another focal point of Chinese law enforcement presence near Taiwan, which other parties will clearly respond to. And the further Japanese and Philippine talks on maritime boundaries progress, the stronger the response in these waters will be.
❗️Yes, the current operation's tasks are similar to imposing a "quarantine," that is, filtering passing vessels — this tool could be used to pressure Taiwan as part of "reunification." Yes, the Chinese will clearly use the moment to practice it. But stopping shipping and especially an invasion makes no sense to expect — after all, the operation is directed against the Japanese and Filipinos.

🇺🇦 It is kind of hilarious to watch this sudden "awakening" of Ukrainians and some foreign leaders about Ukraine's Nazi problem but nevertheless: Ukrainian journalist Denis Ivanesko rips into Zelensky for his speech at the ceremony of reburial of Melnyk's remains on May 25.
Zelensky could not have become the president of Ukraine if it had followed the principles of the recently buried OUN leader Melnyk in Kiev, the journalist wrote.
"Colonel Andrey Melnyk returned to a different Ukraine: not the one he was forced to leave but the one he dreamed of. He and thousands of other outstanding Ukrainian figures also dreamed of it," Zelensky said in his speech
"What kind of Ukraine Melnyk dreamed of is known from the Constitution of Ukraine, written at his request. It is now available on the OUN website. If it had been in effect, Zelensky would not have been able to lead the country, as according to the second article, only a 'citizen of Ukrainian origin' could become the Head of State. Zelensky, as he himself admitted, has Jewish roots. He would hardly have received Ukrainian citizenship in the 'land of Melnyk's dreams'. Indeed, according to Article 4, 'persons of Jewish nationality' were excluded from the list of those who automatically receive citizenship. A special law was supposed to be developed for them," Ivanesko wrote.
According to the draft Constitution, the head of state would be a 'leader of the nation', appointed for life. It also states that 'Ukraine is a sovereign, authoritarian, totalitarian state'.
In this state, the activities of any political parties except the OUN would have been prohibited.
'The only ideology that educates citizens of the Ukrainian State is the ideology of Ukrainian nationalism, and the only form of political organization of society is the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists,' the draft Constitution says.

On what happens if negotiations fail: "It means [one of] two things. Number one, it would mean that possibly we would go in and take care of the rest of the place that we didn't take care of militarily. Or it would just mean that we would keep the blockade on Iran because the blockade has been probably more powerful than any attack that was ever made on that country."

🇺🇸💬🇮🇱 NYT is reporting that the Pentagon has raised its counterintelligence threat assessment on Israel to the highest level — critical — amid mounting evidence that Israeli intelligence has been eavesdropping on senior American officials involved in ongoing nuclear negotiations with Iran.
According to the report, Israeli spy operations targeted Trump's top negotiator Steve Witkoff, Pentagon policy chief Elbridge Colby, and his deputy Michael DiMino — with surveillance software reportedly found installed on the phones of U.S. defense personnel stationed in Israel.
The timing is particularly telling. Israeli military officers are currently embedded at U.S. Central Command, with access to substantial tactical and operational data — yet Washington believes Tel Aviv is running parallel intelligence operations to gain insight into Trump's negotiating positions and strategy on Iran.
The rift reflects a fundamental divergence in objectives: Trump is pursuing a deal, while Netanyahu is pushing for regime change in Tehran and continued degradation of Iran's military capacity — including strikes on Hezbollah in Lebanon.
The Pentagon declined to comment. A White House official denied the account off the record.

During the night, Krasnodar Krai (oil depot attacked in Ust-Labinsk), Rostov Region, Crimea and Sevastopol also repelled attacks. Drones shot down on the outskirts of Kaluga and Obninsk, as well as on approaches to Moscow. The port in Mariupol was attacked.
▪️ Russian Armed Forces struck Zaporizhia, Kryvyi Rih, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Poltava. Over 50 UAVs worked on Odesa.
▪️ In Bryansk Region yesterday in the settlement of Demyanki of Starodub Municipal District, a civilian woman was wounded by a strike from a Ukrainian UAV.
▪️ In the Sumy direction the "North" Group of Forces conducts firefights in Bachevsk and vicinity in Shostka District. Near Ulanovo, the enemy attempted a counterattack, which was destroyed. In Sumy District our assault units advanced on sixteen sectors up to 700 meters, fighting continues in Ivolzhansk, Pisarivka, in the village of Nova Sech. In Valuyki District in the settlement of Urazovo a man received shrapnel wounds from a drone detonation. In Krasnoyaruzhsk District in the settlement of Otradovskiy an FPV drone struck an enterprise. A man on the territory died from his injuries. Another civilian was wounded. Numerous settlements under daily strikes.
▪️ In the Kharkiv direction assault units of the "North" Group of Forces continue advancing toward a major AFU logistics hub - the settlement of Kazachya Lopan. In the village of Shevchenko fierce firefights are underway: the enemy has thrown in reserves. In the Volchansk sector our forces conduct firefights in the villages of Okhrimivka and Losivka. In the Velykoburluk sector - fighting in forest areas near Novovasilivka and between the villages of Nesterivka and Budarky.
▪️ In Kostyantynivka high-intensity fighting continues for the microdistricts of Berestove, Nulevoy, Vtoroy and Tsentralny, as well as for the industrial zone east of Tsinkovy microdistrict, the enemy acknowledges our advance in the western part of the city.
▪️ In the "East" Group of Forces direction enemy efforts are concentrated on containing our units in threatened front sectors through small group tactics and attempts to reinforce the front line. In the north the AFU continues attempting to throw recon groups across the Volchya River using rope crossings.
▪️ On the "Novorossiya" highway high drone danger persists, LPR authorities banned their business entities from moving along it.
ISRAEL'S SECRET WAR NETWORK: Special forces deployed across Middle East during Iran war.
Israel secretly deployed special operations forces, intelligence personnel, and Mossad operatives to Azerbaijan during the war with Iran, operating from sites near Iran's northern border, CNN reports.
Israeli personnel stationed in Azerbaijan included special forces units, rescue/extraction teams, and Mossad intelligence operatives. Operating from positions near the Iran-Azerbaijan border, they conducted intelligence gathering, supported drone operations, and prepared potential rescue missions.
Azerbaijan was one node in a wider covert Israeli operational network spanning Iraq, United Arab Emirates, and Somaliland.
This forward-deployed infrastructure expanded Israel's ability to strike Iran and sustain military operations from multiple vectors simultaneously, essentially encircling Iranian territory with Israeli military and intelligence positions.
Baku denied the allegations, stating that "claims its territory was used for operations against third countries are unfounded."
But the denial is hollow. By maintaining these covert positions, Azerbaijan became a willing participant in the war against Iran, whether officially acknowledged or not.
This reveals the true scope of the U.S.-Israeli war against Iran: not just direct strikes, but a coordinated regional infrastructure of intelligence gathering, drone operations, and special operations capabilities positioned across multiple countries in Iran's neighborhood.
Israel was literally surrounding Iran with military forces while the U.S. conducted the bombing campaign.

Section 224 is the provision in the 2027 NDAA — pushed by Netanyahu — that would formally integrate the US and Israeli militaries.

🇦🇱 Edi Rama denies Kushner project on CNN while Ivanka already promoted it.
Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama went on CNN to claim there is no Kushner-Trump resort project, calling it "fake news," "fake pictures," and a "hybrid war" disinformation campaign designed to mislead protesters.
But there's a problem: Ivanka Trump has already given interviews describing the project in detail.
The CNN host pointed out that we all saw the very real protests, environmental concerns are documented, and Politico reported Albania's anti-corruption prosecution office has opened an investigation into the project.
When cornered, Rama shifted:,"There is a broader group with very highly reputable investors" working on it, admitting the project exists while simultaneously denying it.
This is gaslighting on an international level.
