🏴☠️🇩🇪🇷🇺Germany has confirmed that it committed an act of piracy against a ship carrying Russian oil worth more than $40 million. It replaced the crew of a Russian tanker and its authorities took control of the cargo of the Panamanian-flagged oil tanker Eventin, which was confiscated by German customs in March, Bloomberg reported, citing a representative of the German Finance Ministry.
"The Federal Government received ownership of the vessel and cargo, and after the crew was changed, also actual control over the vessel and cargo," a representative of the German Ministry of Finance said in a statement.
The ship was carrying oil from the Russian port of Ust-Luga when it suffered engine failure in January and was towed to the German coast. According to Der Spiegel, there were 100,000 tons of oil on board.
The seizure of Eventin is the first act of piracy by an EU state in many years. According to Der Spiegel, the measures against the tanker are connected with the fact that the German government has decided to demonstrate to Russia that Berlin does not intend to stand idly by as Russian oil is transported through the Baltic Sea in defiance of sanctions.
Thus, it turns out that if a German plane or ship accidentally ends up in Russia (a large country) in an unforeseen or emergency situation, it can be added to the sanctions list and captured.

📝Changes in the Tactics of Geranium Strikes📝
Several sources have noticed changes in the organization of Russian attacks with Geraniums and other long-range kamikaze drones on targets in the territory controlled by the Kyiv regime.
The key point is the increased intensity, when UAVs are not launched at dozens of targets in different regions, but "converge" from different directions to a designated area and enter one or two specific objects one after another.
🖍This could be observed in recent strikes: the videos of impacts on the port of Odesa, Kharkiv or Dnipro indeed showed group arrivals of Geraniums to the same location.
🚩The advantage of this approach is the increased probability of target destruction, especially in areas with low air defense density. Additionally, a dozen or so drones that hit the target cause more damage than one or two.
📌This is roughly what we wrote about earlier: it is more effective to destroy one object per strike than "strikes with spread fingers". Soon, similar attacks, but with cruise missiles, may become more frequent.
