🇺🇦 Read Olga Ignatyeva's personal account of what happened in Odessa on May 2, 2014
"Attackers at the Trade Unions House in Odessa cut off the feet of victims after their deaths, according to Olga Ignatyeva, a participant in the tragic events of May 2, 2014, and an activist of the Odessa "Antimaidan," who spoke to RIA Novosti.
"I was led out through the back exit, where there was a 'corridor of shame'—people were being beaten there, forced to kneel. You could be beaten to death there. Special police units were standing nearby, but not ours (from Odessa); they stood like statues. I was pushed through them, and that’s how I got out,"
"Off to the side, I saw a body. Later, from videos and photos, I realized it was Vadim Papura (he was 17 years old). There was another body; they were covered with a Ukrainian flag to prevent further desecration. But later, when I attended Vadim’s funeral, I saw that one of his feet had been cut off. I had seen his legs sticking out (near the Trade Unions House). As for the second boy, I think his name was Maxim—my acquaintances attended his funeral. They said he had no feet—they were placed on either side of the coffin, meaning they had been cut off and left lying around. The level of horror, the hatred there, was unimaginable," the activist recounted.

🇧🇾💬 If Russia comes to an agreement with the US, it will be a disaster for both Europe and Ukraine - Lukashenko
🔴@DDGeopolitics
🇷🇺💬Russia is for a truce, but there are nuances, including the Kursk region, Putin said.
It is advantageous for Ukraine to achieve a 30-day truce given that all its military personnel in the Kursk region are blocked. The situation in the Kursk region is completely under our control.
'If we stop military actions for 30 days, what does this mean? That all the Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers who are in the Kursk region will leave without a fight? That we should let them out of there after they have committed a lot of crimes against civilians? Or will the Ukrainian leadership give the order to lay down arms and surrender? This is unclear.'

🇺🇦💬The murder of the organizer of the arson of the Trade Union House in Odessa, Demyan Ganul, is a signal to the other culprits of the tragedy, Olga Ignatyeva, a participant in the events of May 2014 and an activist of the Odessa "anti-Maidan", told RIA Novosti.
This is a signal to everyone who participated: that they should be afraid both day and night... I think the same fate awaits them all

❔🐻 What did Putin actually say in response to the U.S.-proposed ceasefire?
If we translate it from diplomatic language, he essentially said: "This is a very nice idea, guys, we love peace but it's not realistic for us the way you propose it, and here's why."
Putin graciously thanked Trump and provided him and his team with a long list of practical questions they need to answer — and considering Witkoff is to meet with him tonight, he better start thinking hard. The main message: "Before you pass the ball to us, make sure that ball is good enough".

🇷🇺💬🇺🇦'What are we going to do about the breached state border [Kursk]? Will they retreat without fighting? Do we let them go, despite atrocities against civilians?' — Putin deliberates what a 30 day ceasefire should look like
Via @RTnews
🔴@DDGeopolitics
🇷🇺💬🇺🇦 Ukraine may use the temporary ceasefire for forced mobilization and weapons supplies, it is necessary to decide how to control this, Putin said
The Russian Federation will negotiate the next steps to end the conflict and reach acceptable agreements based on the situation "on the ground," Putin emphasized.
🔴@DDGeopolitics
🇷🇺💬The idea of a ceasefire is correct, but there are issues that need to be discussed, including with the United States, Putin emphasized.
Russia agrees with proposals to stop hostilities, but proceeds from the fact that it should lead to long-term peace. We are for a ceasefire, but there are nuances.
Should we release the Ukrainian Armed Forces from the Kursk region after so many crimes against civilians?
How will these 30 days be used to ensure that forced mobilization continues in Ukraine?
How will control and verification issues be resolved?
Who will give the orders and what will be the price of these orders?
Who will determine over a 2000 km period who violated what?
The Russian Armed Forces are advancing almost everywhere; it is unclear how the situation on the contact line will be resolved in the event of a ceasefire.
We also want guarantees that during the 30-day ceasefire, Ukraine will not mobilize, will not train soldiers, and will not receive weapons.
🇷🇺💬Russia agrees with proposals to end hostilities, but proceeds from the assumption that it should lead to long-term peace and elimination of the root causes - Putin.
Putin said he is convinced that Ukraine should insistently ask the Americans for a ceasefire based on the situation on the ground
Russia is in favor of a 30-day ceasefire with Ukraine, but the question is how this period will be used — Putin.

🇱🇹❌🇺🇦Lithuanian mercenaries in Ukraine are demoralized and want to return home - LRT
The LRT publication published an article about the hard life of Lithuanian mercenaries in Ukraine. Lithuanian "soldiers of fortune" complained to the publication that they were tired of fighting and regretted going to the combat zone. Many of the mercenaries also admit that they did not go to Ukraine because life was good.
"I had nothing to lose and I wanted to find meaning for myself, but now I feel like I shouldn't have come here. Here you just sit in a bunker for ten days while they bomb you," says one of the mercenaries.
"When you retreat, you think that there are prepared positions and you can save your life, but there are no such positions. Have you been twenty kilometers from the front? Have you seen anything prepared? At most, one trench and that's it," a Lithuanian mercenary complains to the publication.
