🇷🇺⚔️🇺🇦 Ukrainian F-16s Attempt Long-Range Engagements but Retreat at the First Sign of Danger
Russian aviation blogger Fighterbomber reports that in recent days, Ukrainian pilots flying F-16s have been attempting to engage Russian bombers.
Flying at maximum speed at altitudes of 6–8 km, the F-16s approach within 100 km of their targets but quickly retreat upon detecting Russian fighter cover—without launching missiles, possibly studying Russian tactics. For now, they only record footage from their cockpits.
Until recently, Ukraine’s F-16s were operating primarily over western Ukraine. However, the destruction of remaining Soviet-era MiG-29s and Su-27s has forced these U.S.-supplied jets to move eastward.

🇺🇸🇺🇦Trump may restore Ukraine aid pending "confidence-building measures"
Waltz said Zelensky's letter (aka post on X) was a "good, positive first step." Officials were in discussions over a date, location and negotiating team that would lead to an end to the war, he said.
"We're already talking about confidence-building measures that we'll then take to the Russians and test that side," he said in an interview with the "Fox & Friends" program.
Waltz did not say what the confidence-building measures would be.
"I think if we can nail down these negotiations and move towards these negotiations, and in fact, put some confidence-building measures on the table, then the president will take a hard look at lifting this pause," Waltz said.
"We have to know that both sides are sincerely negotiating towards a a partial, then a permanent, peace."

🇰🇵 North Korea Nears Completion of First Airborne Early Warning Aircraft
North Korea appears close to completing its first airborne early warning (AEW) aircraft—a major advancement for an air force that has seen little modernization in decades.
Satellite imagery shows an Ilyushin IL-76 at Pyongyang’s Sunan International Airport with a large radome mounted on top. The radome features a triangular design similar to some Chinese AEW aircraft, which use three non-rotating phased array radars to cover 120-degree sectors. While this suggests possible Chinese support or influence, it is not definitive proof.

🇺🇸🇺🇦 White House Says Military Aid to Ukraine Will Resume if Progress is Made in Talks
The White House has stated that the U.S. will resume military aid to Ukraine if successful negotiations with Kiev are achieved. The U.S. is reportedly discussing the location and date for a meeting with Ukraine to work towards a peaceful resolution.
Earlier, American media reported that Donald Trump decided to halt aid to Ukraine until he is convinced that Zelensky is genuinely committed to peace talks with Russia. The media also noted that even an agreement on natural resources might not be enough to persuade Trump to resume aid.

🇺🇸 Trump has announced a postponement of tariffs once again.
Trump announced today that tariffs on Mexico will be postponed for one month after a conversation with the nation's president. This comes after commerce secretary Howard Lutnik announced that the tariffs on both Mexico and Canada would "likely" be postponed.
The administration has already carved out a large number of exemptions, most notably for autos, which had largely defanged the tariffs and turned them into mostly symbolic gestures. Now, it looks like they may not happen at all.
Of course, the regime and it's followers can still profit. Every time Trump announces tariffs, they buy the dip in the market, and every time he backs off, they sell. A straightforward, but effective scheme from one of the nation's premiere con artists.
