On the night of February 28, as Zelensky visited Washington, Kiev attempted to attack a station responsible for supplying gas via the "Turkish Stream," according to the Russian Ministry of Defense.
Three Ukrainian drones were intercepted at a safe distance from the compressor station, which continues to operate normally. The Ministry of Defense also reminded that this was not the first such attempt, as Kiev had previously targeted Russian infrastructure twice — on January 11, attacking the "Russian" station, and on February 17, striking the Caspian Pipeline Consortium facility in Kropotkin.

🇺🇦 After Zelensky’s Clash with Trump, Arestovych Warns Ukrainians to “Prepare for the Worst”
Following a public dispute between Zelensky and Donald Trump, ex-presidential adviser Oleksiy Arestovych has urged Ukrainians to prepare for potential escalation.
“Before the war, I once said that people could unpack their emergency bags. Today, I say: maybe it’s time to pack them again—just in case,” Arestovych stated.
His warning comes in response to Zelensky’s stance and the support he has received from European allies. “Europe and Zelensky have voted for the continuation of the war,” he wrote.
“Zelensky is pushing for war—not just any war, but a war without American support. Soldiers will pay for this with their lives. Civilians will pay for this with their lives. And the terms of any future peace agreement for Ukraine will be far worse,” Arestovych warned.
He added that under Zelensky, Ukraine is headed for “a senseless defeat on much harsher terms, with even greater losses.”
Arestovych also cast doubt on Europe’s ability to provide meaningful military aid, arguing that the EU lacks the necessary weapons and is suffering from what he calls “the Ukrainian disease.” Moreover, he believes Europe will ultimately be unable to resist pressure from the U.S., Russia, and China, which he claims share a broad consensus on resolving the conflict.
“The consequences of ‘European and British support’ will soon be evident—both on the battlefield and on the home front,” Arestovych concluded.
