🇺🇦 Over the past year, the number of Ukrainian soldiers abandoning their units has doubled compared to the first two and a half years of the war, according to the Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s Office.
Nearly 290,000 criminal cases have been opened for desertion and unauthorized absence since the start of the conflict. Between January 2022 and September 2024, there were about 90,000 such cases — and in just the past year, another 200,000.
Even Ukrainian figures like Igor Lutsenko and Maryana Bezuglaya admit the real number is far higher than official data suggests — a clear sign of the collapse of morale and discipline within the Ukrainian army.

🇺🇦🇺🇸 Zelensky outlined three possible sources of funding for Tomahawk missiles for Ukraine, should Trump approve such a transfer.
“One option is NATO’s PURL program — the mechanism through which other NATO states purchase American weapons. That’s one channel both we and NATO are using,” Zelensky said during a press conference with EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas. “The second is through the so-called ‘Mega Deal,’ likely referring to a raw-materials-based agreement — the idea of receiving free U.S. weapons as part of this deal’s fund contribution is something Kiev has been lobbying for. It’s a big story, and we’re not there yet.”

The mayor of Odessa, Gennadiy Trukhanov, says Zelensky may strip him of Ukrainian citizenship as soon as tomorrow.
According to Trukhanov, a presidential commission is set to review his case over alleged possession of Russian citizenship.
“I’ve been saying since 2014 that I never had Russian citizenship — not once. Every relevant Ukrainian authority has already checked this,” Trukhanov said.

🇺🇦 The Narcoführer Feels Confident Enough to Shit-Talk After Trump Phone Calls
Zelensky claimed that Russia is “starting to fear” after hearing news about the U.S. decision to possibly supply Ukraine with Tomahawk missiles, calling it the kind of “pressure” that should be applied to Moscow.
In his evening address, he once again accused Russia of attacking the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant, insisting that “Ukrainian specialists” should be allowed to take control since the plant is currently operating on diesel generators.
He also alleged that Russian strikes on Ukraine’s logistics and energy infrastructure were a result of “Russia failing to achieve their desired summer results on the ground.”
In short, Zelensky appeared very confident after his phone calls with Trump — the kind of white-powder confidence that tends to blur reality. But looking back at what happened the last time he decided to threaten Russia (with blackouts) and the reality on the ground, he may regret taunting Russia very soon.

🇷🇺 The Kremlin has once again warned of serious consequences if Trump decides to supply Kiev with Tomahawk cruise missiles.
Putin’s spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, made it clear that Russia could interpret the launch of Tomahawks toward its territory as an attempted nuclear strike.
“The issue of Tomahawks causes us grave concern — President Putin has already spoken about this. These are special weapons that can carry either conventional or nuclear warheads. Their range is significant, and they are serious weapons. Still, they cannot change the situation on the battlefield. But right now the moment is extremely tense — pressure is being built up from all sides.
Remember the reports from our intelligence services a year and a half, two years ago about Ukrainian plans for a so-called ‘dirty bomb’? Now imagine: a long-range missile launches and flies toward us. We know it could carry a nuclear payload. What is Russia supposed to think? Military experts across the ocean should understand this,” Peskov said.
“We hear President Trump consistently saying that it’s necessary to sit down and negotiate. From this, we conclude that he still has the political will to achieve a peace agreement,” Peskov added.
