📝Gas for two to three days📝
The domestic segment was abuzz with sensational headlines: supposedly Britain has only two days' worth of gas reserves left. Of course, there's a catch.
➡️The thing is, Britain is now entering the Middle East crisis with a very thin gas "cushion," and that's the real problem, not that "everything will shut down tomorrow." Formally, the ministers are right: there's no immediate physical threat of shutdowns right now, the country continues to receive gas through pipelines from Norway, from its own shelf production, and from LNG deliveries by tanker.
But if you look at storage reserves, the picture is completely different: we're talking about roughly one and a half to two days of average winter consumption. This means London has almost no time to maneuver in case of a serious import disruption — tanker delays or problems with key suppliers.
While Germany and other major EU economies maintain reserves for dozens of days, Britain has lived for years by the principle of "we'll buy more on the market," while simultaneously cutting its own storage capacity.
❗️So the talk of "two days of gas" isn't about everything going dark in 48 hours, but about the structure of risk: the system depends on external supplies and world prices far more heavily than its neighbors. When ministers say there's "no cause for panic," it's more of an attempt to defuse social tension and maintain control over public opinion.
The reality is that any new blow to logistics or infrastructure in the region almost instantly transforms for Britain from an abstract "geopolitical crisis" into a direct threat to bills, business, and energy security.

🇷🇺👨🦲💬The main points from Putin's statements at the meeting on the situation in the global oil and gas market:
➡️The route of oil supplies through the Strait of Hormuz is currently effectively closed;
➡️ A complete switch to supplies of Middle Eastern oil without the Strait of Hormuz is currently unrealistic;
➡️Competition for energy suppliers in the world is currently intensifying;
➡️Russian energy companies have always been distinguished by their stability;
➡️Russian energy companies need to take advantage of the current oil prices and use the revenue to repay debts to banks;
➡️A change in the balance of supply and demand for energy resources will lead to a new sustainable price reality.

🇷🇺🇱🇧 Soviet cartoon: “The bandit attack by the Israeli military on the Lebanese capital, Beirut, was carried out by saboteurs posing as tourists.”
The cartoon was drawn during the 1982 Israeli invasion of Lebanon. Around 20,000 Lebanese and Palestinian civilians were killed. The Sabra and Shatila massacre took place. An entire capital was besieged.
Yesterday, Israeli paratroopers dressed as Lebanese soldiers were reported in the Bekaa Valley. Hezbollah’s Radwan forces ambushed them. A disguised IDF presence in Lebanon, once again.

🎙 President Vladimir Putin congratulated Russian women on International Women’s Day (March 8, 2026)
On March 7, Russia's President held a meeting at the Kremlin with women serving the Motherland on the front lines and beyond – military personnel, doctors, war correspondents, artists & professionals from across the country.
💬 Vladimir Putin: We always celebrate this holiday with the warmest and most heartfelt feelings.
We admire our wonderful women and express our love, appreciation and gratitude from the bottom of our hearts.
Women make the world better and kinder with their generosity, compassion and genuine female wisdom. A mother’s love remains in every person’s heart for a lifetime – it warms us, multiplies our joyful emotions and gives us strength in the most difficult moments.
There are no heights beyond the reach of our women. You achieve remarkable success in many different professions. And when circumstances demand it – you demonstrate exceptional resilience, determination and strong leadership.
You never hesitate to help those who need your assistance, surrounding your families and loved ones with care and attention and dedicating yourselves to educating children.
Of course, managing to strike us with your beauty and charm while doing hard work, showing commitment and stamina is a formidable task, but you have succeeded in it.
It is essential that we recognise and understand this. As for us, we reaffirm our commitment to create all the necessary conditions, both at the state level and, no doubt, in our families to enable women to strike a balance between motherhood and professional excellence, empowering them to fulfil their potential so that they do not have to wait too long before they can experience the joy of having a family, becoming a spouse and a mother.
On a special note, I would like to congratulate women who are performing their duties in the special military operation zone and are facing extreme hardship while working in Donbass and Novorossiya and in our border regions. Wherever you find yourselves, you have been demonstrating valour and courage, selflessness and strength of spirit. You have my sincere and heartfelt gratitude for that.
Dear women,
The sky is the limit for you. You are sources of creation and development, and you combine resilience with tenderness. Your commitment to create a better future for your children inspires all of us to keep moving forward.
I wish you happiness with those dear to you, success in everything that matters to you, and sound health and well-being to you and your loved ones.
💐 Happy holiday! Happy International Women’s Day!

🎙️ ALEXANDER KAZAKOV AND CHRISTOPHER HELALI ON THE SITUATION IN IRAN
In the podcast "Face to Face", co-chairman of the International "National Unity Club", political philosopher Alexander Kazakov discussed with American journalist Christopher Helali the protests in Iran and the development of the situation in the Middle East.
🔊 2 PART
✑ According to Helali, the protests in the country were primarily caused by economic difficulties and the effects of sanctions, rather than the desire for a change of government. At the same time, external pressure and military threats, on the contrary, increased the consolidation of society around the state.
▣ The experts also noted that Iran is betting on a long—term strategy of pressure, both military and economic, which affects the entire region.
⚠ During the conversation, a possible diplomatic platform for future negotiations was also discussed. According to the podcast participants, Moscow, which maintains working relations with all key parties to the conflict, may become one of such platforms.

📝War Logistics: Convoys, Couriers, Drones📝
Over four years in the SMO zone, much has changed, including front-line logistics. The more the sky above the battlefield saturated with drones, the harder it became to deliver cargo to positions on the ground.
At some point, everything fell on the shoulders of fighter "couriers," who can carry cargo for a week from shelter to shelter with the task of remaining unnoticed. However, UAVs leave them fewer and fewer chances.
In such a situation, salvation for Russian assault troops comes from heavy multi-engine unmanned aircraft — whether the Urals-made "Berdysh," Far Eastern "Mangas," modified versions of downed enemy "Baba Yaga" or "Night Witch." And some are saving someone's life right now.
On the evolution of front-line supply means and the role of specialized unmanned aircraft — in our new video.

🇮🇷💬Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian:
America and Israel, who shamelessly kill 168 innocent children and massacre 50,000 to 60,000 people in Gaza, have no shame. Yet, they want to claim that we in Iran want to kill people?
We stand firm against anyone who attacks our country. We will respond with power.
As for the claim that we apologized—we are only sorry if the dear people in the region were worried by these disputes.
But naturally, we will respond to those who attacked us from their soil, and we are doing so with power.
These two things are separate. We are friends with the countries in the region; they are our brothers.
As I said yesterday, we must work together, hand in hand, and not allow Israel and America to deceive us into standing against one another.

🇮🇷⚡️🇺🇸 FIRST PERIOD: MASSACRE
As always, one of the first targets of the American–Zionist attacks was children.
A repetition of the pattern seen in Gaza, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Lebanon, this time in Minab, Iran.
🇺🇸🇮🇷Trump:
Reporter: Under what circumstances would you send in ground troops? How are you thinking about that?
Trump: I don’t even want to talk about it. I don’t think it’s an appropriate question, and I’m not going to answer it.
Could there be a very good reason? There would have to be a very good reason.
If we ever did that, they would be so decimated that they wouldn’t be able to fight at the ground level.
