Infantry's dream on the front line — the ability to destroy an enemy strongpoint with a single hit. Only if previously this required sending an assault trooper to throw a TM-62 mine by hand, now there's an alternative for this.
Just look at these footage of heavy FPV-drones "Upyr-18" in action, killing everything alive in Ukrainian bunkers on the first hit. This is exactly what we talked about in the corresponding video on TAKTIKAR.
Yes, you can try to destroy a strongpoint with lighter drones, but due to smaller warhead power you'll have to spend dozens of unmanned vehicles, which will cost many times more. So economics alone speaks in favor of heavy FPV-drones for such tasks.
📌 That said, this doesn't mean this class of equipment "cancels out" all other FPV-drones — it simply provides the ability to use different equipment for tasks suited to them. The same vehicles will continue to be destroyed using "Prince Vandal Novgorodsky" and similar systems.
And the more working tools operators have, the more effectively they can accomplish tasks and eliminate AFU manpower, severely depleting the enemy's irreplaceable resource. Because without this there will be no advance.

Slovenian security officials say an intelligence report reviewed by the national security secretariat indicates possible foreign interference in the country’s election campaign, citing activity linked to the Israeli private intelligence firm Black Cube. State Secretary Vojko Volk said the findings suggest coordinated operations timed ahead of voting.
According to authorities, Black Cube representatives visited Slovenia several times in recent months, including a December trip now under scrutiny. Officials say the methods described — use of false identities, staged meetings, and rapid removal of digital traces — match patterns previously attributed to the firm in other international cases.
The government says the timing and nature of the operation raise serious concerns about attempts to influence the democratic process. Police have launched an investigation, established a special task force, and are coordinating with foreign partners to determine the origin and purpose of the recordings circulating online.
The controversy has intensified scrutiny of the opposition Slovenian Democratic Party (SDS) and its leader Janez Janša, who deny involvement and have announced legal action in response to the allegations. 🇦🇪 Operations at Abu Dhabi’s Shah gas plant have been halted after a drone strike, disrupting one of the world’s largest ultra-sour gas facilities and raising concerns over energy and fertiliser supply chains.
According to reporting by The National, operations were suspended while damage is assessed. No injuries were reported.
The plant, operated by ADNOC Sour Gas (a joint venture between ADNOC and Occidental Petroleum), is the world’s largest ultra-sour gas processing facility and supplies roughly 20% of the UAE’s gas demand. It also produces significant volumes of sulphur, a key input for phosphate fertilisers and industrial chemicals.
The shutdown is expected to add pressure to already strained global fertiliser markets, amid wider regional tensions affecting energy and shipping routes, including the Strait of Hormuz.

According to these reports, in 2025 Russia started trials of a mobile ground launcher for the Kh-101, allegedly a modified version developed based on operational experience. No solid evidence has been publicly presented to confirm the claim.
Analysts note that with Western satellite surveillance and airborne early-warning systems monitoring Russian airfields and naval assets, achieving surprise in missile strikes is difficult. Ground launch platforms could expand deployment options.
Such systems were previously constrained by the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces (INF) Treaty, but after its collapse, development restrictions were lifted.

The fire aboard the USS Gerald R. Ford last week burned for more than 30 hours, sailors say, not the contained incident CENTCOM described in its statement.
Over 600 sailors lost their bunks and have been sleeping on floors and tables ever since. Dozens suffered smoke inhalation, though Central Command reported only two non-life-threatening injuries. The ship's laundry has been offline since the fire started in a dryer vent.
The Ford is now in its 10th month of deployment. It was in the Mediterranean last October when Hegseth ordered it to the Caribbean for Trump's Venezuela pressure campaign, then rushed it to the Middle East for the Iran war. Crew have been told their deployment will likely extend into May, this would be a full year at sea, twice the normal length. If still deployed by mid-April it breaks the post-Vietnam War record.
The carrier has been conducting around-the-clock flight operations throughout. A major maintenance and refitting period scheduled for early this year at Newport News has been indefinitely postponed.
The USS George H.W. Bush is reportedly preparing to deploy as relief.
