American journalist Christopher Helali was on assignment heading to Mexico to cover the World Cup and meet the Iranian national team, Team Melli, based in Tijuana for the duration of the World Cup. Traveling from Moscow to Mexico City with a stop in Beijing on 10 June 2026, Christopher was informed by Chinese authorities upon landing in Beijing that he had to wait to get his new boarding pass. After 8 hours, Christopher was informed by Hainan Airlines staff that he was barred from traveling and was listed as a “no fly passenger.” Requesting follow up information, it became clear that Christopher was added by the United States government to the No Fly List which is maintained by the FBI’s Terrorist Screening Center. Christopher was formerly on the Selectee List, enduring nearly a decade of intensive secondary screening with the notorious 4 S’s (SSSS) on his boarding passes both to and from the United States and between countries that crossed US airspace.
This is an attack not only on journalistic freedom but on those who stand with Iran against the Epstein Coalition.
In a statement, Christopher reiterated his solidarity with Iran, Team Melli, and all those who stand for justice. “What was done to me is but a small part of the injustice people face all over the world everyday at the hands of US-EU-NATO imperialism, fascism, and Zionism,” he said. “Our struggle is for all those students at Minab, all the children of Lebanon, Gaza, Donbass, and beyond who were denied a future by these monsters. 🇺🇸💬🇮🇱 NYT is reporting that the Pentagon has raised its counterintelligence threat assessment on Israel to the highest level — critical — amid mounting evidence that Israeli intelligence has been eavesdropping on senior American officials involved in ongoing nuclear negotiations with Iran.
According to the report, Israeli spy operations targeted Trump's top negotiator Steve Witkoff, Pentagon policy chief Elbridge Colby, and his deputy Michael DiMino — with surveillance software reportedly found installed on the phones of U.S. defense personnel stationed in Israel.
The timing is particularly telling. Israeli military officers are currently embedded at U.S. Central Command, with access to substantial tactical and operational data — yet Washington believes Tel Aviv is running parallel intelligence operations to gain insight into Trump's negotiating positions and strategy on Iran.
The rift reflects a fundamental divergence in objectives: Trump is pursuing a deal, while Netanyahu is pushing for regime change in Tehran and continued degradation of Iran's military capacity — including strikes on Hezbollah in Lebanon.
The Pentagon declined to comment. A White House official denied the account off the record.

A special operation by Chinese agencies near Taiwanese waters, which for some reason the Russian segment online connects either to the start of combat operations for the island or to its blockade, continues. Ships that departed from the city of Xiamen are approaching eastern waters — the main operational area.
Along the way, they were monitored from Taiwanese Coast Guard vessels, while simultaneously issuing warnings about the need to leave the zone. For the Chinese, this is already routine, and it has no effect on the operation's progress.
Its objectives remain the same — to increase presence in the area where maritime boundaries between Japan, the Philippines, and China are not defined. And the reasons for such actions are also the same — the start of talks on their demarcation by authorities in Tokyo and Manila without accounting for Chinese leadership's interests.
📌That is, the operation is initially not directed against the island. Moreover, naval forces are not participating in it — it involves only law enforcement. Hence such tasks — traffic monitoring and security assurance. And the powers of Chinese agencies allow them to stop vessels, but it's not certain that anyone will use them.
For now, the main consequence of the operation is the emergence of yet another focal point of Chinese law enforcement presence near Taiwan, which other parties will clearly respond to. And the further Japanese and Philippine talks on maritime boundaries progress, the stronger the response in these waters will be.
❗️Yes, the current operation's tasks are similar to imposing a "quarantine," that is, filtering passing vessels — this tool could be used to pressure Taiwan as part of "reunification." Yes, the Chinese will clearly use the moment to practice it. But stopping shipping and especially an invasion makes no sense to expect — after all, the operation is directed against the Japanese and Filipinos.

🇺🇦 It is kind of hilarious to watch this sudden "awakening" of Ukrainians and some foreign leaders about Ukraine's Nazi problem but nevertheless: Ukrainian journalist Denis Ivanesko rips into Zelensky for his speech at the ceremony of reburial of Melnyk's remains on May 25.
Zelensky could not have become the president of Ukraine if it had followed the principles of the recently buried OUN leader Melnyk in Kiev, the journalist wrote.
"Colonel Andrey Melnyk returned to a different Ukraine: not the one he was forced to leave but the one he dreamed of. He and thousands of other outstanding Ukrainian figures also dreamed of it," Zelensky said in his speech
"What kind of Ukraine Melnyk dreamed of is known from the Constitution of Ukraine, written at his request. It is now available on the OUN website. If it had been in effect, Zelensky would not have been able to lead the country, as according to the second article, only a 'citizen of Ukrainian origin' could become the Head of State. Zelensky, as he himself admitted, has Jewish roots. He would hardly have received Ukrainian citizenship in the 'land of Melnyk's dreams'. Indeed, according to Article 4, 'persons of Jewish nationality' were excluded from the list of those who automatically receive citizenship. A special law was supposed to be developed for them," Ivanesko wrote.
According to the draft Constitution, the head of state would be a 'leader of the nation', appointed for life. It also states that 'Ukraine is a sovereign, authoritarian, totalitarian state'.
In this state, the activities of any political parties except the OUN would have been prohibited.
'The only ideology that educates citizens of the Ukrainian State is the ideology of Ukrainian nationalism, and the only form of political organization of society is the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists,' the draft Constitution says.
