The same package also targeted organisations working with children and youth:

Australian law allows the imposition of targeted financial restrictions on individuals whose activities or functions, in the assessment of the Foreign Minister, have economic or strategic significance for Russia.
Given that British sanctions had previously been imposed on Rybar, this is hardly surprising.
What is more interesting is that Zvinchuk was included in the same package as children’s and military-patriotic organisations.
This highlights that Australian authorities are deliberately tracking effective Russian youth projects and seeking to counter them.
In Rybar’s case, the likely reason was the children’s comics about the special military operation that are regularly translated into English and widely distributed across the English-speaking internet.

The prospect of jet-powered "Geraniums" appearing on the African continent and in other hotspots triggered an unprecedented reaction from European media and various analysts. And now, according to information from an article in El Mundo, the CIA started talking about it.
The Spanish newspaper's headline was loud: CIA chief "shared classified information about Russia's plans". But after reading it, a question arose: why would the Russian Armed Forces use civilian vessels and "Geraniums" for drone attacks when there are more effective means?
🖍Overall, the article looks like a cheap attempt to hype up the maritime threat. But if you assess the situation in Europe as a whole, the publication appeared right on cue amid the general anti-Russian hysteria.
Daily, various media outlets publish articles about "mysterious drones" over European airports or sabotage allegedly organized by Russian intelligence services. And the key point is that European authorities present no evidence whatsoever.
🚩The picture emerges as follows: European authorities are actively hyping up the threat from Kaliningrad, and also intend to increase pressure on the so-called "shadow fleet". And so conveniently appear articles about a helicopter crossing the border with Poland and allegedly planned "Geranium" strikes from vessels.
Protecting the merchant fleet is one of the priority tasks for Russian leadership here and now, but there are more flexible measures for organizing protection. Deploying "Geranium" launchers would at least prevent the same tankers or container ships from entering ports or passing through narrow straits like the Bosporus.
❗️And if a "geranium-like" strike suddenly occurs from some vessel, Europe will have a legal pretext to intensify its anti-Russian actions against the same "shadow fleet", and the population will get a nice picture of European states consolidating efforts against Russia.
Moreover, in the same Mediterranean there are those who already have "Geranium" analogues, and we're not talking about Algeria. Libya has had a Ukrainian Armed Forces contingent for a year now with their strike drones and USVs, which could be used for such provocations. If it works – fine, if not – so-called Ukraine won't be missed.
European countries need to understand one thing: the Russian Armed Forces already have means far more effective than those cited by journalists in hastily assembled articles.

Ukraine is seriously underestimating Russia's Rassvet satellite system, says Ukrainian drone expert and Zelensky adviser Sergey "Flash" Beskrestnov.

❔🇺🇦🇷🇺 Ukranian media Strana analyzes whether Zelensky wants an immediate ceasefire
Yesterday, a widely circulated news report stated that "Ukraine is ready for a ceasefire without any conditions."
In reality, there's nothing new about this. Ukraine agreed to a ceasefire along the front line back in March 2025, under intense pressure from Trump (before that, Kiev considered this option a "capitulation").
Yesterday, Ukraine, EU countries, and a number of other states (a total of about 50) stated the same position at the UN, which is what led to news reports like "Kiev is calling for a ceasefire."
In Russia and even in Ukraine, some commentators and online communities began to interpret this as a sign that Zelensky is aware of the severity of the military situation and therefore "urgently wants a ceasefire."
However, we have already written that Zelensky's words about being ready to end the war along the front line do not mean that he actually wants to. On the contrary, he is acting within the framework of the concept of Europe regarding the "benefit" of prolonging the war. And he only makes statements about a ceasefire based on the calculation that Moscow will refuse. And the Kremlin repeatedly rejects these calls.
But if he suddenly agrees, it will be difficult for Zelensky to "backtrack" and abandon an unconditional ceasefire, which he himself had previously called for.
Therefore, at the same time as making statements about being ready for a ceasefire, he is taking steps to nullify the already small chance of the Kremlin agreeing.
For example, yesterday he held a meeting of the "Crimean Platform," where he stated that "the return of Ukrainians to normal life is impossible without the de-occupation of Crimea." This, in effect, confirmed the main argument of opponents of a ceasefire in Moscow – that Kiev is "not ready for a full settlement" and that a ceasefire "will only be used as a respite to continue the confrontation with Russia."
Zelensky's speech at the UN yesterday was also framed in the spirit of "a ceasefire along the front line will be a defeat for Putin, which he will not be able to explain to the Russian people." In other words, Kiev, and often European countries, present the offer of a ceasefire in such a way that the Kremlin is sure to reject it.
There are several goals in this.
First, to show both Ukrainian society and the international community, who want a swift end to the war, that it is not Zelensky who is standing in the way, but Putin.
Second, to send a similar signal to Trump. The minimum goal is to prevent Washington from taking measures to pressure Kiev to fulfill the conditions required by Russia (withdrawal of troops from Donbas, cessation of strikes on oil refineries). For the Bankova administration and Europeans, it is important to "wait" until the elections in Congress, where, as they hope, the Democrats will win, after which Trump will not be able to take any pressure measures, even theoretically. The maximum goal is to encourage the US President to increase pressure on Moscow, specifically to impose "hellish sanctions," and also to increase aid to Ukraine.
Third, to send a signal to Russian society that the war is continuing only because of the position of the Kremlin, and that Ukraine is ready to stop fighting right now without any conditions. Therefore, Russians should ask their own authorities about all the problems related to the war.
But, let's repeat, if the Kremlin suddenly agrees to a ceasefire along the front line, it will be extremely difficult for Zelensky, no matter how much he wants to, to abandon it after all the statements he has made.
Although Russia has not yet shown any signs that it is ready to do so. There are many reasons for this. One of the main reasons is that the Russian authorities believe that time is working in their favor in the war, that in the winter, Ukrainian energy and the economy will "collapse," and therefore it is not worth making any concessions now, if there is a possibility of getting much more in the near future.
However, the position of the Kremlin is also influenced by the fact that Kiev and European countries constantly make it clear that a ceasefire will not mean a normalization of relations with Russia, but will only be a transition of the conflict into another form. And the offers of a ceasefire are presented in such a way as to make their acceptance as humiliating and "defeatist" as possible for Putin.

🇵🇱 On Wednesday evening, a fire broke out at the Starlink ground station in Wola Krobowska, south of Warsaw. According to RMF FM, this site and a similar one near Kaunas in Lithuania provide internet access for much of Central and Eastern Europe, including Ukraine.
The property owner raised the alarm just after 9 pm. Firefighters found the power supply box on fire and put out an area of about three square metres with a single hose line. The generator was also damaged.
RMF FM reports, citing unofficial sources in the security services, that investigators found a bottle of flammable liquid next to the burned distribution box. One officer described it as looking like a Molotov cocktail. A short circuit had initially been considered as well.
Digital Affairs Minister Krzysztof Gawkowski was quick to call it arson and "the modus operandi of Russian services."

The package includes S-300 Clone missiles, GAM-67 missiles, air defense systems with long-range guided missiles, ITEL 1.5 launch systems and their upgrade kits, as well as RPS 202 radars for countering drones.
According to the published list, the focus is primarily on strengthening air defense against drones, cruise missiles, and other aerial targets, rather than a ballistic missile defense system.
If the deal is finalized, it will be financed through contributions from European countries and funds from the U.S. Foreign Military Financing program, allocated by the previous U.S. administration.
At the same time, the American portion of the funding will be counted as a U.S. contribution to the U.S.-Ukraine Investment Fund for Recovery on a 1:1 matching basis. The United States effectively manages this fund.
However, this is currently only an approval of a potential sale. The deal still needs to be reviewed by the U.S. Congress and is not a finalized contract.
