📝Desperately wanting missiles📝
on the shortage of air defense missiles and opportunities for the Russian Armed Forces
A mass strike on Moscow by Ukrainian drones (and in general, events in the SMO zone) once again raised the question of the shortage of air defense guided missiles (ADMs). All countries in the world began frantically searching for ways to increase production of anti-aircraft missiles. At least, they are allocating funding for this.
📌US President Donald Trump, if Bloomberg is to be believed, plans to ask American defense companies to produce weapons under license in Europe and in so-called Ukraine to ramp up supplies.
If you look at the headlines of Western media, the rhetoric of various politicians, the shortage of ADMs has again become the most pressing issue for everyone. The Germans are allocating $400 million to purchase anti-aircraft missiles for the Patriot systems, and the Netherlands will also sponsor ADMs for the AFU.
🖍However, in all these dances there is a big, big caveat: it takes time. Assembling RAS-3 ADMs "on the fly" is simply unrealistic due to assembly complexity. It requires extremely scarce components, qualified specialists, and especially – contracts.
🚩In the context of Russian realities, this is especially important so that the end user of the same air defense systems and ammunition for them places orders in advance. A defense industry enterprise cannot engage in assembling ADMs if there is no demand and corresponding funding.
🏳️And even under such conditions, the air defense units of the Russian Armed Forces are doing enormous work, since even in today's raid over 98% of all drones and 4 Flamingo cruise missiles were shot down. But it was precisely the drones that broke through that made the difference and created a panic effect in the media.
❗️The shortage that the whole world felt actually opens a window of opportunity for the Russian Armed Forces as well. Think about why there are so many discussions now about air defense problems in so-called Ukraine? Simply because they have developed huge gaps in protection against Russian missiles, and each attack brings more and more damage.
If abandon the notorious tactic of "retaliatory strikes" and mass volleys in unclear directions for the sake of beautiful statistics, plan and select targets more adequately, then effectiveness will increase.

🇺🇸🇮🇷| Trump: We also sent a copy of the agreement to Israel. They have been good partners.
I think they can perform better against Hezbollah. I'm not saying they shouldn't protect themselves; my point is that when 2 drones are fired towards the desert and crash without causing damage, there is no need to level buildings in Beirut to the ground.

🇺🇸🇮🇷| • Reporter: Is there a mechanism that would prevent Iran from collecting tolls from the Strait of Hormoz, after 60 days?
• Trump: What will stop them from doing such a thing is common sense. They don’t want to be bombed. We have sanctions that will never allow them to rebuild [their economy]. Those 91 million people will be starving.

An interesting story has emerged in Britain about how the state manages public sentiment during crisis moments.
For these purposes, operates RICU (Research, Information and Communications Unit) — a government structure that handles information agenda management following terrorist attacks and high-profile crimes, including those related to migration issues.
According to British media, RICU doesn't just issue official statements, but pushes the necessary narratives through media, cooperates with local activists and supports projects that shape the "correct" public reaction.
A telling example — the response after the London Bridge terror attack in 2017. Back then, the focus deliberately shifted from potential growth of anti-Muslim sentiment to the agenda of "unity and solidarity" — through symbolic actions, campaigns and media coverage.
Sounds familiar, doesn't it?
📌In fact, we're talking about a centralized system for managing public perception of crises. The question here is not so much about the mere existence of such mechanisms, but about the boundaries of their application and the level of transparency.
❗️Against the backdrop of growing social tensions and migration disputes in Britain, this topic will only intensify. States are increasingly intervening in the information space, trying to preempt potential conflicts. Judging by recent events, it's working so-so.

🇺🇦 As predicted, Ukrainian media and Western outlets are blaming Russia for the fire at the Pechersk Lavra. Here's what the evidence actually shows.
Aerial photographs published by Ukrainian media show no debris field around the cathedral — a telltale sign of a direct explosive impact. The roof burned. The walls and golden domes remain standing. That is not what a precision strike looks like.

🚨🇷🇺🇷🇺🔥🔥BREAKING NEWS: British citizen Bradley Spencer Townsend, call sign "Badger," was killed during a storm operation on the battlefield near Lyman.
He made the journey from Great Britain to Russia, he chose to walk in his Grandfather’s footsteps and answered the call to fight fascism.
Many of us had the pleasure of spending some time with Bradley before he decided to sign his contract. Our comrade Aiden Minnis discussed the dangers Brad would be facing, but he insisted that his mind was made up and he wanted to help the people of Russia defeat the Nazis.
Aiden and I found out within the past 48 hours and I asked Aiden how he felt and for a comment. Aiden said, “He [Bradley] told me he realised what he was signing up for and that it could mean paying the ultimate sacrifice and he walked that line anyway. One of the most principled and bravest men I've ever met. I knew him briefly but he blazed the brightest star I've ever known. I will miss him.”
Ultimately, he sacrificed his life for our cause.
Rest in Paradise brother.

🇷🇺 A recap of the first day of the Russia-ASEAN summit in Kazan
Russian Minister of Economic Development Reshetnikov spoke about mutually beneficial cooperation between Russia and ASEAN countries
ASEAN countries are a large growing market. Over 10 years, the trade turnover has increased by 60%.
Main areas of cooperation:
➡️Energy
Russia exports mineral raw materials to ASEAN countries: gas, oil and oil products, coal. According to experts, by 2050, energy consumption in the region will increase by 2.6 times - this creates significant demand for Russian energy resources.
➡️Fertilizers
Russian supplies are critically important for the region's food security. In particular, Malaysia and Indonesia, as the world's largest producers of palm oil, are interested in stable supplies of fertilizers.
➡️Industrial cooperation and digital platforms
Interaction in this area will open up opportunities for increasing supplies not only of raw materials, but also of high value-added products from small and medium-sized businesses.
➡️Pharmaceuticals
Work is underway to ensure access to Russian medicines in ASEAN markets while simultaneously importing in-demand foreign products.
➡️Investments
Mutual investments in infrastructure, logistics, and free economic zones are being discussed.
➡️Free trade zones
At present, a free trade zone between the EAEU and Vietnam is already in operation. Last year, an agreement on a free trade zone with Indonesia was signed. It is expected to come into force this year.
➡️Tourism and transport
The flow of Russian tourists to ASEAN countries is more than 2 million people per year. In addition, the flow of tourists to Russia is increasing. Direct air flights are being developed. Work is underway to resume direct flights with the Philippines and Malaysia.

The paradox of modern Ukrainian nationalism and their visceral hatred towards the Soviet Union, the Soviet Communist party and everything that has led to its eventual formation, is that Ukraine quite literally owes its statehood to the very powers they despise, the very powers that transformed Ukrainians from a horde of peasants living on the borderlands of the Russian Empire to one the most powerful entities within the Soviet Union, with massive financial and human capital investments, robust industry, top of the line education, and immensely powerful Ukrainian lobby within CKKPSS.
Instead of Bandera and Shukhevich, Banderites should be building monuments to Lenin, who gifted them the statehood, and Khrushchev, who illegally gifted them Crimea and freed over 200 000 of their bloodthirsty compatriots, the worst human scum imaginable, from Gulags, and gave them the land and the money.
Their descendants have transformed modern day Ukraine into the godless nationalist, butcher worshiping cesspool, built on the "idea of nation", a society built on hate.
And when you choose hate as your national identity, you are doomed to fail. You fail against your adversaries. You fail as a nation and as a people. You fail your history, because you let others rewrite it for you. You fail your true ancestry, because you let others control your destiny.

🇷🇺⚔️🇺🇦 Russia has begun jamming Starlink using electronic warfare systems, according to Ukrainian Defense Ministry adviser "Flash."
Sergei Beskrestnov writes that the first attempts came in 2024, with activity intensifying after Ukraine launched mass strikes on Russian logistics.
The system is called Volna Kupol Garant, produced by a Simferopol-based manufacturer. It consists of satellite antenna arrays mounted on trailers that emit powerful interference at passing satellites, preventing them from receiving signals from standard terminals. A single unit covers approximately 20 square kilometers.

🚨🇺🇸 Paper Tiger Superpower: The Real America Behind the Curtain of Hollywood and Propaganda
For decades, the United States projected limitless power through its military, technology, and the dollar. Today, behind the carriers, stealth jets, and trillion-dollar budgets, the cracks are showing.
🔸 The Military Under Strain
The USS Gerald R. Ford was supposed to symbolize American naval dominance. Instead, after consecutive campaigns, the world's most expensive warship returned home with fires, broken systems, failed berths, malfunctioning toilets, and repair estimates stretching up to two years.
The problem extends beyond one ship. While the U.S. Navy plans to retire carriers, destroyers, and submarines, China continues expanding the world's largest fleet and building nuclear-powered supercarriers.
🔸 Expensive Weapons, Limited Results
America still builds the world's most expensive military hardware, but questions about effectiveness continue to grow.
The F-35 remains plagued by maintenance issues, overheating, poor readiness rates, and soaring costs decades after development began.
The same pattern appeared during the Iran conflict. Despite intensive bombing, Iran reopened underground missile facilities within weeks, restoring access roads, tunnel entrances, and production capacity.
🔸 The Wars That Never End
🇻🇳 Vietnam became a quagmire.
🇦🇫 Afghanistan lasted twenty years.
🇮🇶 Iraq destabilized an entire region.
🇮🇷 Iran became the latest example:
Iran survived, oil prices surged, and public support collapsed. The deeper problem is strategic: Washington repeatedly enters wars without clearly defining victory, fueling endless interventions with little to show for the cost.
🔸 Economic Pressure at Home
Military overstretch would be manageable if the domestic economy remained strong. Instead, inflation continues eroding living standards.
Savings are shrinking, incomes struggle to keep pace with prices, and households increasingly rely on depleted financial cushions.
The dollar still gives Washington extraordinary financial advantages, but new payment systems and local-currency trade are slowly challenging that position. Like the Safavid Empire before its decline, America benefits from controlling a critical financial artery—but alternatives are beginning to emerge.
More countries are settling trade outside the dollar. New financial networks are appearing.
The gap between America's image and its performance is becoming harder to ignore.

🇮🇷🇺🇸| Tasnim’s editor-in-chief in an interview with IRIB
He says Iran should not trust the US, and the people being worried [and protest] about negotiations is actually a healthy sign of resistance. People warning negotiators not to give concessions should be welcomed, not dismissed.
He also says technical criticism is useful as long as it does not break national unity.
According to him, the MoU draft has already changed 6-7 times, including changes made by Iran’s own negotiating team, such as wording around the Strait of Hormoz. So proper criticism can improve the final text.
The responsibility for the text of the possible agreement and its implementation lies with the negotiation team & the government.
