Failure to register could result in up to five years of imprisonment.
Setting aside the choice of date and the overall degree of paranoid schizophrenia in London, I cannot help but ask a number of clarifying and probing questions to the British side. All of them concern subjects of the United Kingdom and its internal affairs, as the new rules are truly absurd.
- Will British World War II veterans who received Ushakov medals and anniversary Victory medals for their participation in Arctic convoys be forced to register as Russian agents? Will they need to surrender their medals?
- Will museums of Arctic convoys be registered as “Russian residencies”?

According to officials, all citizens are now encouraged to plant sunflowers—Ukraine’s national flower — in their gardens, balconies, and even on rooftops to create vast fields of yellow blooms that will allegedly "overwhelm and confuse" Russian drones.
The initiative comes with government-supplied seed packets, and a new TikTok challenge (#SunflowerShield).
