That’s so crazy. Despite everything going on in the world — prices crashing, chaos everywhere — DGB just keeps building, and the support only gets stronger. Yesterday I probably saw 15–20 different accounts on different platforms sharing posts about the DigiDollar Testnet activation.
I’m just wondering whether the 9.26.0 release and the DigiDollar soft‑fork activation window might shift a few months because of Pay‑to‑Merkle‑Root (P2MR). Any thoughts?
LCX is expected to pay DigiCorp Labs (DCL)
The claim is that LCX still owes DigiCorp Labs the remaining balance from an agreed payout or settlement (reported around $2.5 million + other amounts) that was supposed to be distributed to DCL after the hack and token distribution.

A big step just happened for DigiByte and its new DigiDollar feature.
The team has been testing everything on their test network. People could watch in real time as the DigiDollar system started to activate. They used something called BIP9 signaling, an improved oracle consensus method, and special block milestones to make it all work smoothly.
The DigiByte developers posted updates showing the process happening live. Then they announced that the activation is now officially locked in on the test network called TesNet21. Everything is set to turn on at block 600, including a much more efficient new Oracle system that helps the network run better.

Shortly after, they confirmed that the DigiDollar has successfully activated on the RC28 TesNet21 test network. It went through perfectly with no issues.
This whole test run is a great preview of exactly how the real activation will look when it happens on the main DigiByte network.

Another reset is being done to RC 28 maybe later today. Somehow, we jumped to a block height of 15000 very quickly and there is some corruption in the DigiDollar history. So if anyone is thinking of installing RC27, hold off for a bit.

DigiByte Wallet v3.0.8-beta — Bloom Peer Discovery + Battery Optimization
Big update. The wallet no longer depends on a single hardcoded node for SPV sync.
What changed:
• Built a network crawler (dgb-bloom-seeder) that crawls the DigiByte P2P network and finds nodes with bloom filter support
• Wallet fetches 10+ bloom-capable peers from the seeder API on every sync start
• Cold start syncs in ~13 seconds, then the foreground service stops itself
• WorkManager handles 15-minute background catch-ups — no persistent notification, no battery drain
• Peer list cached locally and refreshed hourly
Before: 1 hardcoded bloom peer → single point of failure
After: 10+ dynamically discovered peers → resilient, decentralized sync
The seeder is open source — anyone can run one:

Node operators can help by adding peerbloomfilters=1 to their digibyte.conf. Your node will be automatically discovered and made available to all mobile wallet users.
