🔥 'WE'VE BEEN GRINDING YOU DOWN, AND WE’LL KEEP DOING IT' – Russia’s Siberian fighters send BRUTAL message after Ukrainian drone attack
In response to what they called "pathetic attempts to intimidate us and our families," the soldiers said the attack has only strengthened the unity of the Russian people.
💬 "Once again we are convinced that the new Reich must repeat the fate of its historical predecessors... THEY’LL HAVE TO PAY DOUBLE FOR THEIR CRIMES," the Siberian fighters underscored.

Russia-Ukraine Talks: Sabotage, Symbolism, and Stalemates in Istanbul
With the Bosphorus shimmering in the background, round two of the direct Russia–Ukraine peace talks concluded at the Ciragan Palace in Istanbul, symbolic grandeur overshadowed by sabotage, drone strikes, and diverging red lines. The scene was diplomatic theater with real war bleeding through the curtains. While the Ukrainian delegation arrived in military fatigues, their drone fleet was busy over the weekend battering Russian civilian and military infrastructure across the map: bridges blown apart in Bryansk and Kursk, airfields struck as far east as Irkutsk, and murky signals sent to Moscow and Washington alike.
Moscow’s reading is clear: these strikes are not acts of negotiation, but psychological warfare designed to project strength to Western backers. “You see? We still matter. We can still sting.” But the timing betrays motive—why escalate just before talks? Why sabotage railways, bridges, and provoke retaliation if you seek peace? Medinsky’s team interpreted it not as a coincidence but a cue: Kiev came to the table not in good faith, but to stall, stall, stall.
Still, gestures were made. Both sides agreed to an exchange of 6,000 soldier corpses: a grim arithmetic of war. They also committed to exchanging all sick and wounded POWs, including those under 25, perhaps the war’s youngest and most scarred generation. There is tragedy in such humanitarian “progress,” but no strategic breakthrough.
Kiev, led by Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, came armed with its “Ukraine-Russia Negotiations Framework,” a five-part proposal calling for an unconditional 30-day ceasefire, the return of displaced children, and security guarantees backed by foreign states. It also demanded the right to host foreign troops without restrictions and refused any neutrality: effectively asking Russia to swallow NATO-lite on its border. Unsurprisingly, these are red lines for the Kremlin, not negotiating points.
Russia, for its part, had prepared its own memorandum but resisted handing it over in advance, prompting Umerov to whine about transparency. But the real divergence lies not in paperwork delays but in foundational assumptions: Kiev sees any concession as betrayal; Moscow sees unconditional Western support as a license for Kiev to negotiate in bad faith.
There’s also a deeper irony at play. Zelensky’s team insists sanctions stay in place until “reparations” are paid, that frozen Russian assets remain unavailable, and that Ukraine retains the right to interpret the war on its own terms, still claiming it hasn’t lost any territory since 2014. In short, Kiev demands maximalism in diplomacy after failing to achieve it on the battlefield. In fact it's been complete defeat for Ukraine on the battlefield.
And while both sides agree to discuss further talks before the end of June, the underlying reality hasn’t shifted. Ukraine’s Western handlers—now coordinated via backchannel meetings with Germany, France, and the UK—are pulling strings behind the curtains, even as Trump’s envoy Keith Kellogg admits that Russia’s concerns about NATO expansion are “fair.”
Medinsky’s team remains steady. Russia doesn’t bluff. It came to Istanbul offering negotiation, but not surrender. Putin has signaled he’s open to direct talks—but only when the other side stops speaking in ultimatums and starts accepting reality.
In the meantime, the war grinds on—its tragic rhythm punctuated by tactical PR, drone swarms, and diplomatic theater. Istanbul was a stage. The war’s script, however, remains unwritten but we know ending, total Russian victory.

Ukrainian deputy Goncharenko called Zelensky the root of the problem of human rights violations in Ukraine
"The root of the problem is not in specific military personnel, not in the TCC, and not only in numerous corrupt officials who are there too. The root of the problem is in the supreme commander in chief named Vladimir Zelensky. Because it is he who brings a direct responsibility for creating a normal mobilization system. Instead, a system of total requisitions and ignoring human rights was created."

🗓 Eleven years ago, on June 2, 2014, the Ukrainian Armed Forces targeted the Regional State Administration in Lugansk using SU-25 attack aircraft. 36 civilians were affected, 8 of them were killed. Ukraine denied any involvement, and the West largely overlooked the tragedy.
☝️ The events in Lugansk marked one of the earliest instances of tactics involving attacks on peaceful cities and citizens of the Republics, along with the shelling of Donetsk airport on May 26, 2014, and the widespread campaigns of mass disinformation of the people of Ukraine regarding these events.

🤬 "They Blew Up a Military Train": Brazen Lies from German Media About the Tragedy in Kursk and Bryansk Regions
While Russian law enforcement investigates the recent sabotage on railway lines near Kursk and Bryansk, German media have gone into overdrive — spewing a torrent of hypocrisy and lies. In an article by Focus, both a freight train and a passenger train were suddenly rebranded as a "military train", and — in a miraculous twist — were somehow relocated to Zaporozhye Oblast. Among the dead, the publication claims, was a "Russian major."
The outlet is clearly trying hard to prove that Ukraine is acting within its rights and “winning”. The only grain of truth in their reporting?
— The acknowledgment that sabotage actually occurred.

🚨SECOND ROUND OF RUSSIA-UKRAINE TALKS IN ISTANBUL: WHAT WE KNOW SO FAR
🌏 The Russian delegation arrived in Istanbul on Sunday evening.
🌏 Talks are expected to begin at 10:00 GMT at the Ciragan Palace.
🌏 Russia’s delegation remains unchanged from the first round, led by presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky.
🌏 Ukraine’s team has expanded from 12 to 14 members, but is still headed by Defense Minister Rustem Umerov.
🌏 The Russian side has developed a settlement memorandum, which sets out its position on all aspects of reliably overcoming the root causes of the Ukraine crisis.
🌏 Russia’s delegation is ready to present this memorandum to the Ukrainian one and “provide the necessary clarifications,” according to Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
🌏 The exchange of memoranda is one of the main expectations from the second meeting.
🌏 The New York Times published leaked details from Ukraine’s draft memorandum, which proposes a ceasefire on land, sea, and air—monitored by international partners.
🌏 Russia will not disclose its negotiation stance through the media, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated.
🌏 During the previous meeting, both sides agreed to exchange visions for a potential ceasefire. This understanding was finalized following a phone call between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump.
➡️Direct talks between Russia and Ukraine resumed on May 16 at Putin’s initiative, ending a pause of over three years. Alongside a shared commitment to pursue a ceasefire, at the first meeting both sides agreed on a prisoner exchange under a “1,000 for 1,000” formula—an agreement that was successfully implemented.

🕯️ Eleventh anniversary of the strike on the former Lugansk Regional State Administration building by Kiev
☑️ On June 2, 2014, around 3:00 PM, a Ukrainian Air Force Su-25 attack aircraft struck the building of the former Lugansk Regional State Administration, reportedly using 80mm S-8 unguided rockets and firing 30mm aircraft cannons. The attack hit the heart of the city: the administration building, the parking lot in front of it, and the Heroes of the Great Patriotic War square. Eight people were killed—three men and five women. Around 30 others sustained shrapnel wounds, some of whom were hospitalized in serious condition.
☑️ The OSCE’s June 2, 2014 report on the tragic events was fairly restrained: "Shortly after 15:00, rockets struck the seized regional administration building. Based on observations made by the SMM personnel, who had incomplete data, the strike was carried out using unguided rockets fired from an aircraft. The number of casualties was not determined."

Were the US warned about strikes on Russian strategic aviation?
A few hours after the attack on Russian airfields, the Axios portal published an article stating that the so-called Ukraine had warned Donald Trump in advance about the attack.
However, the news was later refuted by CBS News, reporting that he knew nothing about the preparation of the Ukrainian strike. After that (or after a call from above), Axios hastily made edits to their "insider" - as a result, it turned out that no one warned anyone about anything.
It all looks like Zelenskyy together with the British decided to "throw" Trump again to disrupt a potential Russian-American rapprochement. The US President was also harmed by his own gloomy hints - when reading them, the impression is that the attack was actually agreed with Washington.
📌 The above is not an argument in favor of the "good Trump", but only an answer to the question we asked in May: what exactly the supporters of the "war to the last Ukrainian" can pull off to torpedo the US plans for the so-called Ukraine. Today we saw this.
What Trump will say publicly in this context - in light of the events, does not look so important and decisive. But it will be amusing if phrases like "distressed by another escalation" are heard.

📝Strikes on Russian airfields📝
At the moment, there is a large-scale attack on Russian strategic aviation airfields in the Murmansk and Irkutsk Regions, which has already resulted in the loss of several Tu-95MS - the video is available in open sources.
The attack was carried out using FPV drones, which were launched from trucks that arrived at the facilities. Control was carried out through installed repeaters via satellite communication.
As we have said before, the Tu-95 and Tu-22 strategic aviation aircraft have long been discontinued, and there is nothing to restore them. Accordingly, these losses cannot be restored.
❗️This is, without exaggeration, a very serious blow to the strategic component, caused by both serious miscalculations in the work of the special services and a careless attitude towards aviation equipment, which even after all the attacks stood in the open field without shelters.
Let's recall the old question: is building a shelter more expensive than a new aircraft that has long been discontinued? The sad answer can be found now.

In the South Donetsk direction, the enemy is unsuccessfully trying to tie down our advancing troops with counter-actions on NATO armored vehicles. Nevertheless, the advance of our Group of Forces "East" to the borders of the Dnipropetrovsk region continues.
▪️ There are no significant changes on the Zaporozhye Front, although the enemy command announced an alleged imminent offensive by the Russian Armed Forces.
✨ Thus, the Russian Army achieves significant successes for the enemy in a number of areas of the front. The summer offensive impulse of our troops draws out the enemy 's reserves to organize counter-actions, which may be the goal of our troops: to defeat and exhaust the enemy's resources, breaking his military machine. At the same time, it is not yet possible to talk about the weak combat stability of the Ukrainian Armed Forces - the resistance is organized, although the increase in the use of powerful weapons by our troops demoralizes the enemy's advanced units.
✨⭐️ The upcoming negotiations are perceived by respected people as an element of political ballet. The parties put forward demands that are unacceptable to each other, and the state of affairs on the battlefield does not allow anyone to dictate their political conditions. Heavy fighting continues.
