They want to dismantle Iran’s nuclear industry, but they can take their dream to their graves.

Head of Iran’s AE, Eslami:

They keep saying that we’ve lost the continuity of our nuclear knowledge because of the JCPOA. We’ve repeatedly stated that the JCPOA is a treaty in which both parties had obligations. These obligations were reciprocal. When you (the other side) don’t fulfill your commitments, how can you expect us to continue honoring ours unilaterally?

If you return to your obligations, we will too. The countermeasures we took in reducing our commitments were within the framework of the JCPOA, and we acted in line with its provisions.

Now, when we declare that if you pass a resolution, we will respond—we have responded every time. They’re using this pressure tool to try to make us surrender. But surrender to what?

Their excessive demand is clear: they don’t want us to have a nuclear industry at all. Make no mistake—this is the core of their demand: that Iran should not have any influence or impact.

But dismantling Iran’s nuclear industry is a dream they’ll take to their graves. For years, they’ve pressured the Islamic Republic, and any voluntary steps we took in the past will definitely not continue.

Our decisions are made by the nuclear committee under the Supreme National Security Council, which is responsible for setting, guiding, and leading nuclear policy and negotiations. Decisions are made there.

We’ve seen individuals putting out their own interpretations and publishing personal takes. We need to wait and see how the situation develops—especially since the IAEA Board of Governors meeting began this morning.”

🇮🇷| The IRGC cracks down “Aghazadehs” (relatives of officials) for corruption

The son & son-in-law of Kazem Seddighi's were arrested by the IRGC Intelligence after approval of the judiciary. Seddighi is the friday imam of Tehran.

They have been arrested on economic charges. Apparently related to illegally claiming land under their own name.

The crackdown on corruption follows a speech by Imam Khamenei, in which the Leader addressed governors, warning government officials and their relatives about involvement in economic activities and strongly emphasizing the need to combat corruption.

Mr. Seddighi himself says that the law should be respected, even if his son breaks it.

Hopefully many more corrupt individuals get cracked down.
