🇮🇷| UPDATE: Zohrevand was not sentenced based on his remarks regarding his military claims (MiG-29s, S400, etc) but rather because he criticised the current government.

The secretariat of the SNSC filed a complaint against him because he said, and I quote: “The Islamic Revolution has been ended by this current government."

So, it has nothing to do with his online interviews on military equipment, despite earlier reports hinting at it.

🇮🇷| Iranian MP Zohrevand sentenced to 3 months’ suspended imprisonment

Zohrevand’s remarks during online interviews led to a complaint from the Secretariat of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council & the court ruling sentenced him to 3 months in prison, which will be suspended for 3 years.

Zohrevand was also sentenced to 2 years of prohibition from media activity, including interviews and publishing content in the media.

His remarks regarding his military claims (MiG-29s, S400, etc) was not the cause of the complaint but rather because he criticised the current government.

He had said, and I quote: “The Islamic Revolution has been ended by this current government."

I wonder why none of the other politicians ever get such punishments, especially when they are from the gang of Zarif (and Zarif himself).

Tomorrow Iran, Russia, and China will jointly send a letter to the UNSC to announce they recognise the end of Resolution 2231.

Russia, China and 121 other countries from the NaM insist that the sanctions reinstated by the US and E3 through the so-called "snapback" mechanism have no legal validity and UN member states are not obligated to implement them.

With the end of this resolution, the status of Iran's issue at the IAEA will also change, and from now on, the IAEA Director-General will no longer be required to issue reports on the JCPOA.

This is the female only part of the wedding, and it’s customary for the father and husband of the bride to attend here for a moment, and then they leave.

And believe me, the wedding is VERY simple among Iranians, nothing “lavish” here.

Many pro-shah and anti-IR accounts have been sharing this video as well in farsi language, this just shows that behind these accounts are not real Iranians as any Iranian would truly know about this.
