KIP-28: KyberDAO to open a Limit Order for mKNC holders to swap mKNC to KNC
Multichain bridge ceased all operations on 14 July 2023. As a goodwill gesture, the KyberSwap team is proposing a solution that enables holders of mKNC (Multichain-deployed KNC) to swap their mKNC to a suitable version of KNC on each affected chain, using KyberSwap Limit Order. KNC would be sourced from the KyberDAO ecosystem fund.

Should @KyberDAO configure the voting rewards distribution such that delegators (KNC stakers who delegate voting power to another address) receive rewards directly instead of depending on their delegate?
If approved, this new system would make KNC staking + delegation much more straightforward and appealing; helping to grow the number of stakers and KNC staked.

🗣️ Calling all affected $mKNC holders
Since KIP-28 has been approved by the DAO, the team has set up a Limit Order for $mKNC → $KNC conversion on Arbitrum & Optimism and $mKNC → $axlKNC on Avalanche & Fantom. Users can now swap it on https://kyberswap.com/swap/.
Since $axlKNC is not liquid on Avalanche & Fantom, holders have 2 options to swap it to native $KNC:
1️⃣ Bridge $axlKNC using https://app.squidrouter.com/ from any chain to Ethereum to receive 1:1 native $KNC.
2️⃣ Bridge $axlKNC using https://app.squidrouter.com/ from any chain to Polygon and swap it to $KNC, depending on market rates. Be mindful that rates are not necessarily always 1:1 on Polygon, so check the rates before swapping.
The Limit Order will be opened for 2 months, up to 18/03/2024

Old Classic LP fees have been successfully recovered and distributed to eligible addresses following KIP-29 vote.

📣[Discuss] KIP-29: Add DAO multisig to the smart contract strategy for converting & receiving LP fees
Proposed changes:
1. Include DAO multisig wallet in the smart contract strategy that manages the reception of KyberSwap LP fees
2. Make DAO multisig the receiving address for Classic LP token fees
Rationale:
Proposed changes required to transfer remaining Classic protocol (old KyberDMM) fees for the DAO out of the old Treasury pool to the DAO multisig and optimize Classic fee collection.
Fees previously collected for eligible KNC voters but were unable to be transferred & liquidated, can then be distributed to eligible KNC voters.
