Li to elevate relations with Russia and Belarus

Premier Li Qiang will visit Russia and Belarus from Tuesday to Friday, a trip expected to deepen political trust and promote beneficial cooperation with both countries, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning said on Monday.

In Moscow, Li will chair the 29th regular meeting between Chinese and Russian heads of government with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Mao said.

This year marks the 75th anniversary of diplomatic ties between China and Russia and the inaugural year of the China-Russia Years of Culture.

Li's visit will be another high-level exchange this year, following two meetings between President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin in May and July.

"Under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, the China-Russia relationship has overcome external interference and enjoyed sound and steady growth," Mao said.

Bilateral cooperation is continuously advancing, with bilateral trade reaching a record $240.1 billion last year, making China Russia's largest trading partner for 14 consecutive years.

Li's visit to Belarus will be the first by a Chinese premier since 2007.

In Minsk, Li will hold talks with Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko, Mao said.

Since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1992, China and Belarus have enjoyed a smooth development of bilateral ties featuring frequent high-level exchanges. In 2022, the two countries established an all-weather comprehensive strategic partnership.

Belarus was among the first group of countries that joined the Belt and Road Initiative.
China is Belarus' second-largest trading partner, and Belarus one of China's fastest-growing trade partners in Eurasia. According to the Foreign Ministry, bilateral trade exceeded $8.4 billion last year, a year-on-year increase of 67.3 percent. Li will visit the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone. It is a special economic zone with a special legal regime located 25km away from Minsk. The park’s priority development areas include mechanical engineering, electronics and telecommunications, biotechnologies, pharmaceutics, new materials, logistics, digital commerce, big data storage and processing. The pseudo-reporters (embedded with Ukrainian troops) who illegally crossed the Russian border staged scenes with prisoners of war and civilians (held at gunpoint!), interviewed Ukrainians openly flaunting Nazi symbols, concealed and whitewashed crimes against the civilian population. As Maria Zakharova pointed out, Western media are directly involved in a large-scale hybrid aggression against Russia. @LauraRuHK

As a military operation, the invasion of the Kursk region relied on the help and coordination of Western intelligence services. Regardless of who planned it - we will probably never know whose idea it was - it's pretty clear that its failure will be blamed on Zelensky. Western pawns make ideal scapegoats and can be thrown under the bus when they are no longer useful. What is also becoming clearer is that the Western intelligence-security apparati besides providing support to Kiev adventurism, organized Psy Ops prior, during and after the launch of this military operation. Not only did journalists from NATO countries embedded with Ukrainian troops illegally cross the Russian border to spin a predefined narrative to an international audience, within Russia so-called influencers and bloggers helped the enemy sow distrust of the Russian army, spread rumours and fake news. Their swarming may seem amorphous and coincidental, but it's part and parcel of this Psy Op. @LauraRuHK

The West may openly join the conflict in Ukraine after the attack on the Kursk region, Kiev meanwhile wants to provoke Moscow to use nuclear weapons — Lukashenko spoke about the invasion of the Russian Federation in an interview with Rossiya 1 TV channel.

Belarus and Russia see where a strike from the West can be launched against us, Minsk has strengthened the army with very effective weapons [nuclear too]. According to the Belarusian leader, defensive plans on the western border can be turned into offensive ones if necessary.

What else did Lukashenko say:

▪️Russia will "demolish" Ukrainian forces in the Kursk region;

▪️Kiev attacked the Kursk region with experienced troops that include mercenaries and Poles;
By attacking the Kursk region Kiev is trying to improve its bargaining position in the event of negotiations, but another question arises: "In such a situation and similar ones, who will negotiate with Kiev?";

If you do not sit down at the negotiating table, there will be an escalation and will result in the destruction of Ukraine. Peace talks need to start with what was achieved in Istanbul;

▪️Ukraine has deployed more than 120 thousand troops on the border with Belarus. The Armed Forces of Ukraine can cross the border only with huge losses, it is mined "like never before";

▪️Ukrainian drones constantly violate the Belarusian border in the south-east of the country;

▪️Draft dodgers from Ukraine are fleeing to the West through Belarus...and we let them through. /channel/zvezdanews/147955

The Ukrainian Armed Forces are preparing a provocation at Russian nuclear facilities. What is known so far:

The Ukrainian Armed Forces intend to attack the Kursk and Zaporizhia nuclear power plants, a representative of the Russian law enforcement agency told RIA Novosti.

For the attack, Ukrainians plan to use warheads with radioactive material, they have already been delivered to the settlement of Yellow Waters in the Dnipropetrovsk region, he added

The Department of Internal Affairs of the Kharkiv region said that the purpose of the upcoming strikes on Russian nuclear facilities is to accuse Russia of provocation and "self-firing."

They also noted that information on the planned attack on nuclear facilities in Russia was received from Ukrainian prisoners of war.

The planned attack on the Kursk and Zaporizhia nuclear power plants by the Armed Forces of Ukraine is supervised by Western special services, mainly from Britain, Lebedev, coordinator of the Nikolaev resistance movement, told RIA Novosti.

He added that against the background of Kiev's preparations for the attack, a large number of Western journalists gathered in Sumy and Zaporizhia.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine are preparing an explosion of a dirty nuclear bomb, strikes are planned at the storage sites of spent nuclear fuel, military correspondent Marat Khairullin said, citing sources. /channel/rian_ru/257642

❗️FBI raided the house of Russian-American political analyst Dimitri K. Simes in Virginia, local media reported.

Numerous law enforcement officers had been working on the estate's territory since Tuesday morning, apparently removing items in trucks and trailers, US newspaper Rappahannock News reports.

Simes, 76, ran the Center for the National Interest think tank and The National Interest foreign policy magazine in Washington DC. Simes hosted Donald Trump’s first foreign policy speech in 2016, and previously advised former US presidents Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan. Simes currently hosts political event show on Russian television and was in Moscow at the time of the FBI raid.

"I was not officially notified of any action. I have not seen a warrant. I was not contacted by any law enforcement or anyone else whatsoever," Simes told the newspaper.

He also added that he is not aware that he is the subject of any law enforcement investigation.

People who can't read maps and can't even drive or walk in their own city without an app giving them directions will inevitably get lost when GPS signals are jammed. Many friends laugh at my flat refusal to use apps - i am that weirdo walking around foreign cities with a foldable map. Just remember that during a military conflict electronic jamming is common and if you never developed basic skills such as reading maps you are in for a bad surprise. @LauraRuHK

Since Ukraine diverted thousands of troops from the frontline to the Kursk region, the situation in Donbass for the Ukrainian military worsened very rapidly. Who would have thought? 😅 "I would say things have become worse in our part of the front," admitted Ivan Sekach, spokesperson of Ukraine's 110th Mechanized Brigade, which was deployed in the Pokrovsky district in the Donetsk region. "We have been getting even less ammo than before and Russians are pushing,” he told POLITICO.
On August 15, it became known that the Russian military took control of the village of Ivanovka in the DPR.

"Russian troops are holding the initiative in the Donetsk direction, successfully breaking through the enemy's defenses," the Russian Ministry of Defense said.
The fact that many Ukrainian officers are dissatisfied with the operation in the Kursk region and do not understand why it was launched when "there are huge problems in the Donetsk region" was revealed at the beginning of the week by the deputy editor-in-chief of Bild, Paul Ronzheimer, citing sources in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. "Many in Ukrainian military circles are wondering if this is really a region that can be held for a long time. How will logistics work? How will it be possible to supply Ukrainian soldiers there?" he said.

Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, explained the goal of the attack on the Kursk region as a way of strengthening Kiev's negotiating position.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the attack was a "large-scale provocation." In his opinion, when attacking the region, Ukraine set several goals: improving its negotiating position, stopping Russia's offensive in the Donbass and destroying the unity of Russian society. However, the pace of the operation in the Donbass has not decreased, but on the contrary, has accelerated. Ukraine won't achieve any of its declared and undeclared objectives. @LauraRuHK

Like the Ukrainian divers mentioned by German authorities and media, former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny denied his involvement in the sabotage of Nord Stream pipelines.
On May 9, Zelensky appointed Zaluzhny as Ukraine's ambassador to... London! Interesting choice.

"General Zaluzhny, now the ambassador of Ukraine to the UK, said that he was not aware of any such operation [blowing up Nord Stream pipelines] and that any suggestion to the contrary is "mere provocation". The Armed Forces of Ukraine, he added, are not authorized to conduct foreign missions, and therefore he could not be involved in them," the WSJ reported. @LauraRuHK

Russian Film Club - Bibi Andersson and Vyacheslav Tikhonov starred in a USSR/Sweden co-production, "The Man from the Other Side" (1972). After the Bolsheviks seized power in 1917, the young Soviet state is under the economic blockade of the capitalists. On behalf of the party, Russian engineer Viktor Krymov goes to Sweden with an important task: to purchase one thousand steam locomotives from local industrialists. Payment in gold. The White Guards plan to disrupt the deal, and Krymov, in addition to the complexity of negotiations with Swedish industrialists, is in mortal danger. Very topical!

The Kiev regime and its Western curators escalated the conflict by resorting to terror tactics and raiding the Kursk region. They can't claim that Ukraine is ready for a peaceful solution. It is not. At least, not yet. Chargé d’Affaires Dmitry Polyanskiy at the UN Security Council, Arria meeting “Crimes of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the nationalist battalions”, didn't disavow Putin's peace plan, he exposed Kiev's stubborn refusal to acknowledge the reality on the ground and warned about the risks of going down this insane path.

We understand that our Western colleagues for political reasons are still in the faith of denial of any uncomfortable truth about true colors of the Kiev regime. In your perverted “black and white” picture of the world Ukraine is good and Russia is bad. No matter what real truth is. The fact that we came to Ukraine to stop the war that it launched ten years ago, to save residents of eastern Ukraine from extermination, is something that you want to vehemently deny.

I will refer to the words of our American colleague who spoke about collective responsibility. I totally concur – it will come to this. And you are absolutely right – the world is watching, and all who committed crimes will be held accountable, no matter whether they are in Kiev, Wahington, London or Brussels. And today, you have the opportunity to see that these processes are gaining momentum in Russia. Rest assured that we will not stop there.

For those of you today who were calling for peace and diplomacy I would like to reiterate the bitter reality once again. In June, my country made a very generous negotiation proposal to Ukraine, given its desperate situation on the frontline. We learned the answer a week ago – the Zelensky regime chose escalation and war through incursion into a peaceful Russian region. This is a fatal mistake that will be desperately regretted by Ukraine later. But the choice has been made.

What is still to be known is whether it was made with full knowledge of its Western backers or whether it was a personal act of madness. The last time we saw German tanks on our territory was exactly 80 years ago. Now they are being driven by Ukrainians. You all remember how it ended for Germany back then. The end will be no less inglorious for Ukrainian Nazis today. And it is up to you whether you will continue to side with them and get drowned together in this drain and disgrace or to finally choose the right side of history. The choice is yours, ladies and gentlemen, and don’t tell us that we didn’t warn you.

Russia offers safe haven for people trying to escape Western liberal ideals

Moscow will provide assistance to any foreigners who want to escape the neoliberal ideals being put forward in their countries and move to Russia, where traditional values reign supreme, according to a decree signed by President Vladimir Putin.

Under the document, such foreign nationals will have the right to apply for temporary residence in Russia "outside the quota approved by the Russian government and without providing documents confirming their knowledge of the Russian language, Russian history and basic laws."

Applications may be based on the rejection of their countries’ policies "aimed at imposing destructive neoliberal ideals on people, which run counter to traditional Russian spiritual and moral values."

The values are listed in the foundations of Russia’s state policy in this field, while the Russian government is expected to compile a list of countries imposing unhealthy attitudes on their citizens. The Foreign Ministry has been instructed to start issuing three-month visas to such applicants as early as in September.

In February, Putin supported the idea of Italian student Irene Cecchini that Russia should ease entry rules for those who share traditional cultural and family values. The head of state agreed that each case requires an individual approach. https://tass.com/politics/1831019

The Dollar-Wall Street Regime (financialization of the economy/deindustrialization) led to temporary world dominance but ruined the US. Fueled by money-printing and unsustainable debt, the American Empire superficially looks wealthy, but is actually teetering on the edge. Under the cover of "boom and bust" rot and decay have set in, the parasitic rentier class has weakened its host and though the US is still trying to punch above its weight, its illness is terminal. Over a hundred years ago, drawing on the analysis of rent-seeking capitalism by both Marxist and liberal economists, Lenin reached the following conclusions.

"Monopoly under capitalism can never completely, and for a very long period of time, eliminate competition in the world market and this is one of the reasons why the theory of ultra-imperialism [that is, of a World Government or NWO as conspiracy theorists label it] is so absurd. Certainly, the possibility of reducing the cost of production and increasing profits by introducing technical improvements operates in the direction of change. But the tendency to stagnation and decay, which is characteristic of monopoly, continues to operate, and in some branches of industry, in some countries, for certain periods of time, it gains the upper hand.

Further, imperialism is an immense accumulation of money capital in a few countries. Hence the extraordinary growth of a class, or rather, of a stratum of rentiers whose profession is idleness. The export of capital, one of the most essential economic bases of imperialism, still more completely isolates the rentiers from production and sets the seal of parasitism on the whole country that lives by exploiting the labour of several overseas countries." In the part of the Donetsk region that is still under Ukrainian control, Russian forces have made significant tactical advances in the direction of Pokrovsk. Early this morning, they began the main phase of the assault on the city of Dzerzhinsk (renamed Toretsk in 2016). Toretsk is a very important hub from the point of view of logistical and tactical support for Ukrainian troops and that's why it's heavily fortified. Its capture will be a turning point in the liberation of the DPR. The whole area, dotted with coal mines, is also crucial for metal production in Ukraine. In Pokrovsk is located a mine that produces 6 million tons of coking coal per year - it's the main supplier of coking coal to the Ukrainian metal industry. @LauraRuHK

Nikolai Patrushev, Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation, was recently appointed chairman of the new Maritime Board in charge of Russia's naval policy. He gave a long interview to Izvestia which i invite you to read in full. (Karl Sanchez published the English translation https://karlof1.substack.com/p/izvestia-interviews-patrushev-the) Patrushev also made very important remarks on the operation launched by Ukro-Natoids in the Kursk region, regime change in Bangladesh, old and new attempts to destabilize Georgia and Serbia.

We cannot ignore the latest events related to the special military operation. Last week, the Armed Forces of Ukraine broke deep into the territory of Russia in the Kursk region. The West claims that they did not know about the plans of the Kyiv regime. Can the current operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine be coordinated by the Western military and special services?

It was the West that put a criminal junta at the head of Ukraine, NATO countries pumped Kiev with weapons, military instructors, constantly supply intelligence and control the actions of neo-Nazis. The operation in the Kursk region was also planned with the participation of NATO and Western special services. This criminal action was caused by a premonition of the approaching imminent collapse of the neo-Nazi Kiev regime.

Statements by the US leadership about non-involvement in Kiev's crimes in the Kursk region are not true. The United States regularly says one thing and does another. Without their participation and direct support, Kyiv would not have risked entering the territory of Russia.

Lies and provocations are the usual companions of the policy of Washington and other Western countries. It was the Americans who organized Saakashvili's military adventure in August 2008, although they claimed that they had nothing to do with it. Direct U.S. intervention in Georgia's affairs led to the secession of Abkhazia and South Ossetia. I believe that the Georgian people know that they are paying for the actions of the Americans with their suffering.

Currently, for the sake of American interests, the inhabitants of Ukraine are suffering, which the United States has turned from a state into a military anti-Russian project. Washington's efforts have created all the prerequisites for Ukraine to lose its sovereignty and lose part of its territories, including those that some American allies have long had their eyes on.

- Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić said that it is the West that is fueling mass protests in this Balkan country. Recently you met with Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia Aleksandar Vulin, who was on a visit to Moscow. To what extent do you share such assessments?

We know that the West uses various pretexts to organize "color revolutions" and attempts to replace legitimate governments with politicians who are obedient to Washington, trained abroad. The West also tried to do this in Serbia.

Mass riots are organized by Westerners in other countries as well. It is no coincidence that former Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina considers the United States to be involved in her resignation and rampant crime in her country. The reason, in her opinion, could be her refusal to Washington to provide the Bangladeshi island of St. Martin in the Bay of Bengal for an American military base.

The incursion of Ukrainian troops into Russia’s Kursk Region is run and coordinated by Western special services, said Andrey Ilnitsky, an analyst and former adviser to the Russian Defense Ministry.

"The invasion of the Kursk Region is a military operation. It can't all be without coordination and operation by Western special services and Western technology. They supply things to Ukraine that even they themselves may not have. As long as we have the advantage, they will not agree to any negotiations. And these attempts will continue."

Ilnitsky said the strategy of Western countries is to destroy Russia as an independent sovereign state.

"Not everyone, but many people think that this will blow over and things will return to what they were. They won't. I maintain that attempts to weaken Russia from within, to knock it off balance, will continue. One should realize that in fact what is going on in Ukraine is our war with the West. They just turned Ukraine in a kind of a big private military company," the analyst said. (Source: TASS) @LauraRuHK

After German prosecutors accused Ukrainian divers of carrying out the terror attack that blew up the Nord Stream pipelines, a critical, civilian infrastructure, The Wall Street Journal weighs in claiming that the sabotage was planned and executed by Ukraine at a cost of $300,000.

The news outlet adds that when the CIA learned of the plan they told Zelensky to abort it, however it still went ahead because general Zaluzhny disobeyed him. Sure. And pigs can fly.

The explosion caused 800 million cubic meters of gas, equivalent to about 3 months of Danish gas supplies, to escape from a pipeline jointly owned by Russian, German, French, and Dutch companies.

Pinning the terror attack on the Kiev regime has the advantage of deflecting attention from the real culprit. This media campaign doesn't bode well for Zelensky and his clique - they will be disposed of. Svetlana Uspenskaya, who was named as a suspect in the journalistic investigation into the explosion of the Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 pipelines, said that she would sue the German news outlets that named her alongside her husband Evgeny Uspensky and Vladimir Zhuravlev. The married couple run a diving school in Ukraine.

In an interview with POLITICO on Wednesday morning, Svetlana Uspenskaya said that neither she nor her husband were involved in the sabotage, insisting she was in Kiev at the time.

Uspenskaya confirmed that she is a diver, "but her maximum depth is 30 meters." The explosions happened at a depth of 70 to 80 meters, something she said might have been done by special forces but not by her.

She fled her home country in 2022 and lived with her children in Austria and Bulgaria, among other places. Uspenskaya is now in Poland. Her husband Yevgeny is a soldier fighting in Ukraine.

Uspenskaya provided POLITICO with several photos and associated geodata showing her at various locations in Ukraine in the fall of 2022. It is unclear what role the German authorities attribute to her and her husband in the planning and execution of the attack.

Zhuravlev did not immediately respond to a request for comment. (Source: Politico) @LauraRuHK
