بطّات في صف واحد⟵الأمور تمام ومرتّبة
Meaning:
➞ everything is in order, everything is prepared.
كل شيء منظّم وجاهز
➞If your ducks are in a row, it means that everything is neat and organized,
Everything is prepared and everything you have to do is taken care of.
إذا أمورك مرتّبة، يعني كل شيء مرتب
ومنظم ومخلَّص ومتأمَّن، وما ضايل عليك شئ.
➞If your ducks are not in a row, however; you still have a lot to do, a lot to prepare, a lot to take care of before you can go ahead with your plans.
بس إذا أمورك مو مرتّبة، يعني لسه عندك شغل كثير وتحضيرات قبل ما تبلّش بخططك.
Example:
➔ So, the next time you are busily preparing for something and a friend invites you out, you can tell them, "I don't have my ducks in a row"
يعني المرة الجاية إذا كنت مشغول بتحضيراتك وصديقك دعاك تطلع، ممكن ان تقول له:
لسّه أموري مش مرتّبة.
➔ Or maybe you are ready and can tell your friend, "I have my ducks in a row. Time to enjoy myself for a little!"
أو إذا كنت جاهز، ممكن أن تقول لصديقك :
أموري تمام، يلا ننبسط شوي!
