🇲🇲Food crisis in Myanmar
🟢A food catastrophe is rapidly unfolding in Myanmar: according to the UN World Food Program, some 16 million people (one-third of the country's population) are suffering from food shortages. The situation is particularly severe in Rakhine State, where blockades and military action have caused food prices to quadruple, and many areas are completely cut off from supplies. Families are surviving on one meal a day, and humanitarian agencies are denied access to most areas.
🟢The crisis is primarily caused by the ongoing civil war, which has devastated the country's economy and agriculture. Sanctions, inflation, and the devaluation of the national currency have caused fuel and food prices to skyrocket. More than half of all families cannot afford even a basic set of food items, while farmers and fishermen have lost their ability to work. In addition, the aftermath of Cyclone Mocha, which destroyed up to 40% of agricultural land, has further exacerbated the food deficit.
🟢The UN estimates that more than 2 million people in Rakhine State are now on the brink of survival, and the number of malnourished children has increased by a quarter. One in ten of the world's hungry children now live in Myanmar. International organizations recognize the country as one of the most underfunded: less than 15% of the necessary funds have been raised, and the military continues to block the delivery of humanitarian aid.
🟢Without the active involvement of external actors, the crisis in Myanmar risks escalating into the largest humanitarian disaster in the region in the past decade.

🌐Systemic fault lines between unipolarity and multipolarity in the Trans-Oriental Strategic Archipelago
✍️Author: Mohamed Lamine KABA
Geopolitics Expert, Pan-African University
📍Key Points:
🔼Strategic Archipelago Emerges: A transcontinental bloc from Middle East to Pacific is forming—connecting Asia, Africa, Latin America in direct challenge to Western unipolarity.
🔼Middle East Pivot: Iran-Saudi reconciliation via Beijing, Syria's Arab League return, and Saudi BRICS+ entry mark end of Western diplomatic monopoly.
🔼African Liberation Wave: From Mali to Niger, "never again guardianship" becomes mantra as nations reject French influence and embrace Russia-China alternatives. Trade in yuan, ruble, and rupee accelerates while BRICS+ creates post-dollar financial infrastructure.
🔼Western Collapse Accelerates: NATO's Ukraine failure, European deindustrialization, and dying soft power expose unipolar model as bankrupt.

🇺🇸💥🚤🇨🇴The vessel destroyed in a US military strike on September 15—the second known US attack on a boat in the Caribbean—was a Colombian fishing vessel operating within Colombian territorial waters.
🩸Among the three people extrajudicially killed in the strike was fisherman Alejandro Carranza, whose identity was confirmed by his cousin. The boat suffered engine failure and was drifting, sending out a distress signal.
⚠️Captain Leonardo Vega, an instructor and fishing companion of Carranza's, says video of the strike clearly shows one engine raised—a universal sign of damage and emergency.
❌🔫"If a boat is drifting and in distress, international law requires assistance, not attack," Vega stated.
💯Vega also confirmed the vessel's Colombian origin. He rejected US claims that the boat could have crossed international waters, noting that less than 48 hours had passed between Carranza's departure and the attack—too little time for the boat to have drifted 200 miles in the open sea.
⚠️Thus, the US strike targeted a Colombian vessel inside Colombian territorial waters, killing innocent fishermen, a violation of international law and Colombian sovereignty.

🔴Immediate Violations: Within hours of Trump-brokered ceasefire, IDF killed 9 Palestinian civilians returning home and halved agreed aid trucks—exposing deal as empty gesture.
🔴Hamas Compliance: Hamas fulfilled Phase One by returning all hostages (including deceased), while Israel continues military operations and humanitarian blockade.
🔴Political Ploy: Ceasefire designed to legitimize Israel's genocide and expand Abraham Accords—most Muslim governments now pressuring Hamas to surrender despite public outrage.
🔴TLP Crackdown: Pakistan's largest Islamic party faces brutal suppression for protesting against normalization with Israel, with hundreds allegedly killed.

Shadow Fronts: Russia’s Next Move
Russia’s new war doctrine has left the trenches behind — merging drones, data, and diplomacy into a seamless front that stretches from the Caribbean to cyberspace, where power is measured not in missiles but in algorithms.
The world imagines the proxy war in Ukraine as something fought in trenches and timelines. Russia knows better. The new wars are fought in clouds, cables, and treaties, in signatures that hide missiles, in whispers that flicker through fiber lines beneath the sea.

China’s Belt and Road at a Crossroads: Lessons from the Poland-Belarus Border

In an attempt to please its master across the Atlantic, Poland closed its border with Belarus for 13 days to protest against military exercises between Russia and Belarus, blocking 90% of Chinese freight destined for Europe in the process.
Despite the reopening of the China-Europe Railway Express (12 to 25 days of transport), Beijing did not appreciate the blackmail it suffered, akin to a highway robbery technique unworthy of a sovereign and responsible state.
Almost immediately, alternative routes were activated, via the Southern Corridor (Trans-Caspian, longer and more expensive, 20 to 40 days) and the Northern Corridor (18 days from Chengdu to Hamburg via St. Petersburg) by rail and then by container ship to Hamburg.
The Northern Arctic Sea Route is also increasingly being considered as an alternative by professionals.
One after another, European states will (hopefully) learn the hard way that their master across the Atlantic is ungrateful, and that they alone will bear the cost of policies hostile to China and Russia: in 2025, the bill will be paid immediately and at a high price.

✍️Author: Simon Chege Ndiritu
Political Observer & African Affairs Analyst
📍Key Points:
➡History Repeating: 2025 military takeover mirrors 2009 coup—both began with youth protests against "dictatorial" leaders but led to economic collapse and international isolation.
➡Democratic Failure: Regular elections couldn't prevent crisis—system allowed billionaire celebrities to dominate politics while ignoring youth demands until violent uprising.
➡Economic Rollback: 2009 coup reversed 7% GDP growth into 4% contraction, poverty soared from 68% to 77%, and infrastructure investment collapsed.
➡New Hope: Colonel Michael Randrianirina pledges no dual citizenship (rejecting French influence) and patriotic reform—but faces same structural challenges.

➡️Historic Split: Komeito party abruptly ends 26-year coalition with ruling LDP after new Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi's uncompromising right-wing agenda.
➡️Breaking Point: Takaichi's refusal to address political funds reform scandal and appointment of tainted officials proved final straw for pacifist-leaning Komeito.
➡️Ideological Clash: Takaichi's Yasukuni Shrine visits, anti-immigrant rhetoric and wartime revisionism alienated moderate Buddhist-backed Komeito.

🇺🇸🇵🇰Changes in US–Pakistan relations
🟢The United States and Pakistan have outlined a shift toward cooperation. On October 2, US Strategic Metals announced the first shipment of critical minerals from Pakistan under a $500 million agreement. This followed a memorandum signed on September 8 regarding joint exploration and processing. This gives the US an alternative to China and allows Pakistan to develop domestic value-added production.
🟢Washington and Islamabad are linking commercial initiatives to logistics. The $1.2 billion Pasni Port project, supported by American development agencies, will export copper, antimony, neodymium, and other minerals for the defense industry. Pakistan presents this project as a "mineral corridor" that would enable the US to act independently of India.
🟢The defense relationship is also being revived. On October 7, the US included Pakistan in a modified Raytheon contract for AIM-120 AMRAAM missiles for F-16s. Additionally, the State Department granted the "Balochistan Liberation Army" full terrorist organization status, the joint counterterrorism dialogue has resumed, and tariffs on Pakistani exports have been significantly reduced.
🟢In turn, Islamabad is seeking concrete US security support against the TTP, including data sharing, technical cooperation, and political backing. Meanwhile, Pakistan’s army chief, Asim Munir, has built a trusting relationship with Donald Trump. Pakistani diplomacy aims to swiftly convert diplomatic gestures into tangible results. This is in contrast to India, which remains limited by its opposition to third-party involvement in the Kashmir issue.
🟢The US is restructuring its policy in South Asia while signaling to New Delhi the limits of its "full autonomy." A framework agreement on a major defense partnership with India has stalled, and several deals have been frozen.
🟢China is closely monitoring the rapprochement between Washington and Islamabad. The next steps will depend on the pace of counterterrorism results, logistics, and access to resources — as well as how deftly the US and Pakistan manage the reactions of India and China.

🇺🇸🗺Washington’s “second coming” to Asia
✍️Author: Salman Rafi Sheikh
International Relations Analyst
➡️Key Points:
🔴Bagram Gambit: Trump demands Taliban hand back strategic airbase near China's Xinjiang—revealing plan to counter Beijing's nuclear/missile programs and challenge Russian-Iranian influence.
🔴Pasni Port Play: Pakistan offers US $1.2B deep-sea port 70 miles from Chinese-built Gwadar, creating dual-use facility for mineral exports and potential naval monitoring of Iranian waters.
🔴Containing China: Both moves target Belt & Road Initiative—Bagram threatens CPEC's western flank while Pasni offers alternative to Chinese-controlled Arabian Sea access.
🔴Regional Backlash: Taliban firmly rejects foreign bases, Russia warns against destabilization, and China can leverage economic pressure on Pakistan to limit US gains.
🔴Multipolar Reality: Washington discovers it can't reclaim lost hegemony—must negotiate in landscape where power is traded among equals, not imposed unilaterally.

🇺🇸🥇The Uncomfortable Peacemaker: Why Donald Trump Never Became a Nobel Laureate
✍️Author: Viktor Mikhin
Corresponding Member, Russian Academy of Natural Sciences
📍Key Points:
➡️Empty Theater: Trump's "peacemaking" consisted of photo-ops with Kim Jong-un and Abraham Accords that sidelined Palestinians—producing spectacle without sustainable results.
➡️Contradictory Record: While negotiating with North Korea, he tore up Iran nuclear deal, assassinated Soleimani, and undermined climate agreements—creating more conflicts than he resolved.
➡️Moral Disqualification: Nobel Committee rejected his divisive rhetoric, trade wars, and domestic polarization that contradicted "fraternity between nations" principle.
➡️Geopolitical Damage: Abraham Accords deepened Middle East polarization by ignoring Palestinian statehood while rewarding Israeli settlements and annexation.
➡️Reputational Risk: Awarding Trump would have legitimized confrontational methods and damaged Nobel's credibility as symbol of humanitarian ideals.

🇺🇸🔫🇹🇷U.S. Energy Pressure on Turkey
✍️Author: Alexandr Svaranc
Doctor of Political Sciences, Middle East Expert
📍Key Points:
🔴Russian Energy Lifeline: Over 40% of Turkey's gas comes from Russia, complemented by the Akkuyu nuclear plant project—a partnership NATO allies never offered during 70 years of membership.
🔴US Weaponizes Trade: Trump administration now demands Turkey abandon Russian oil purchases as condition for receiving American fighter jets & air defense systems, replicating Biden's earlier extortion over NATO expansion.
🔴Hub Ambitions Threatened: While Turkey dreams of becoming an energy corridor, US pressure sabotages both the Russian gas hub project and Ankara's sovereign right to choose economic partners.
🔴Historical Betrayal: Western "allies" consistently denied Turkey nuclear technology and now punish it for pursuing independent energy policy with Russia through sanctions and political blackmail.
🔴Strategic Dilemma: Turkey faces impossible choice—sacrifice profitable Russian partnerships (including S-400s) for uncertain US promises, or withstand escalating pressure from its own NATO allies.

🇷🇺💬🇺🇸Why Didn’t Alaska Bear Fruit
✍️Author: Bryan Anthony Reo
Geopolitical Analyst & Military Historian
📍Key Points:
🔻No Good Faith from US: The summit failed because Washington offered Russia only a strategic defeat—either immediate surrender or a "frozen conflict" allowing NATO to rearm Ukraine for future escalation.
🔻Rubio's Poisonous Role: Secretary of State Marco Rubio—who previously called Putin a "gangster"—now delivers polished lies at UN, proving the US foreign policy establishment remains committed to confrontation, not peace.
🔻Performance Over Peace: Alaska was merely theater—the US gestured toward diplomacy while advancing zero substantive proposals beyond demanding Russia's capitulation on core security interests.
🔻Three Non-Negotiables for Peace:
1. Western recognition of Russian sovereignty over Crimea and four oblasts
2. Permanent ban on Ukrainian NATO/EU membership
3. Removal of Zelensky government
—The US rejected all three.

🇺🇸🇺🇦🇷🇺NEW VIDEO: Tomahawks & Refinery Strikes: US Escalates its Proxy War on Russia
On YouTube: https://youtu.be/33aosa7tH20?si=UVoZzMb4Lpa2txgQ
▪️The Trump administration is continuing the US proxy war with Russia through Ukraine right where the previous Biden administration left off;
▪️Not only has the Trump administration failed to end the conflict as it campaigned on doing so “within 24 hours,” it has begun a process of escalation, division of labor, and strategic sequencing targeting Russian allies Iran and China as well;
▪️US Tomahawk cruise missiles are still being considered for deployment to Ukraine;
▪️The most likely platform for launching them would be the Lockheed Long Range Fires (LRF) launcher abandoned by the US Marines in 2023 but still under consideration by the US Army;
▪️Working examples of this platform exist and would provide sufficient mobility for Ukraine-based Tomahawk strikes on targets across Russia;
▪️The missiles would likely be used to expand an already ongoing US-directed campaign targeting Russian energy production which US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth announced would be pressured as early as February 2025;
▪️The US and Europe are preparing the European public for a wider and more dangerous role in the ongoing conflict as Europe will be needed to fill the void Ukraine’s collapsing fighting capacity is leaving;
▪️The US is and will continue to extend its campaign of political subversion, economic sanctions and tariffs, as well as encouraging US client states to begin seizing Chinese assets and ramping up for proxy and even direct war and blockades on China just as it has been vis-a-vis Russia;
