To seek truth and beauty in the simplicity of everyday life. Vivere est cogitare to live is to think. With an open heart to the world and its mysteries.💝
Everyone has made mistakes. But if guilt has been holding you by the throat for years, then regardless of what happened, it has become a prison of your own making. Acknowledge what you did, learn from it, and stop punishing yourself for the past.

In remote coastal regions of Colombia, an innovative technology is providing reliable light to off-grid communities through saltwater-powered lamps. Developed by the Colombian startup E-Dina in collaboration with Wunderman Thompson, this solution uses readily available seawater as a dependable alternative to weather-dependent solar energy.
The WaterLight device generates electricity through an electrochemical process in which a saltwater electrolyte reacts with internal magnesium and copper components. This reaction produces immediate power and can provide continuous illumination for up to 45 days using only half a liter of seawater.
In addition to lighting, the device serves as a portable power source equipped with a USB port, enabling users to charge small electronic devices such as mobile phones and radios. This capability is particularly valuable in remote communities, where it supports children's education after dark and helps maintain essential communication for safety and emergency situations.
The project was specifically designed for the Indigenous Wayúu people living in the La Guajira region. Their cultural heritage is reflected in the lamp’s waterproof wooden housing and handwoven carrying straps, making it well suited for traditional activities such as nighttime fishing and artisanal work.
Each lamp is fully recyclable and delivers approximately 5,600 hours of energy over a lifespan of two to three years. This affordable, emission-free innovation demonstrates how locally available natural resources can be harnessed to expand access to sustainable energy in underserved coastal communities.
By combining practical engineering with cultural sensitivity, WaterLight offers a compelling example of how innovative design can address energy poverty while empowering communities to make use of the resources already surrounding them.

I enjoy discovering the cultures of other countries—their music, dance, traditions, and stories. The diversity of our world is one of its greatest treasures. While learning from one another, may we also remember to value our own heritage, identity, and roots, and carry them forward with pride and respect.🤍

🏘️ Balbido is a tiny village nestled in Italy’s Trentino region, where art and everyday life blend beautifully together. Its charming streets are lined with houses covered in colorful murals, each telling stories of local traditions, alpine landscapes, and imaginative scenes, turning the entire village into an open-air gallery. 🎨✨
Did you know? The tradition of decorating homes with frescoes in the Alpine villages of Trentino dates back centuries. Originally, these paintings helped protect exterior walls from moisture and harsh weather, but over time they evolved into a unique form of folk art that continues to enchant visitors today. 💕

Sometimes one little “Mom, can we adopt him?” changes everything. 🐾
Because adopting a dog is not only about joy, but also a first lesson in responsibility, care, and true love.
And that kind of friendship often stays in the heart for a lifetime.❤️

“I am strong because sometimes I have no other choice.
I am strong because life has given me no alternative.
I am strong because I have learned how to survive pain.
But despite the storms, I still search for the sun.
Despite the falls, I still feel like dancing.
Despite the wounds, my eyes are still filled with wonder.
I still make wishes upon the stars, I believe dreams are kites meant to be chased, I look for rainbows in puddles.
I have clenched my fists even when I should have let go.
I am strong despite my weaknesses and all my mistakes.
Because I do not know how to surrender and, despite everything, I continue to dream.
To fight.
To fly.”

A coffee shop in Kent, UK made a bold decision — they started serving only customers who brought their own cups.
To show why, they covered the floor of their café with hundreds of disposable cups.
This is not the fault of small cafés or restaurants.
The biggest problem was created by corporations and systems that normalized the “use it and throw it away” culture for years.
A few minutes of convenience.
A massive amount of waste.

Houtouwan Village, Gouqi Island, China.
An abandoned fishing village where nature slowly took over the streets, houses, and rooftops. Honestly feels like a place frozen between another world and reality.

I wish you a person
who won’t betray you,
even when they could profit greatly from it.
Someone you can walk beside with trust,
without fear they’ll push you off the path.
Someone you can let walk ahead,
knowing they won’t block your way.
Someone you can leave behind
without fearing a knife in your back.
I wish you a person who,
in your darkest night,
will give you a single smile
that lights up everything.
Someone you can call at four in the morning.
Someone with whom you can sit in silence
and not feel awkward.
Someone you can speak your mind to
and feel wise.
Someone who makes you feel important—always.
Someone with whom you don’t need to prove anything
or justify yourself.
Someone who won’t try to change you
just to feel better about themselves.
Who will notice you in a crowd—
your uniqueness, your soul.
Someone who will make you better,
and whom you will make better in return.
A person
who draws you in, but doesn’t bind you,
is a breeze that soothes, but doesn’t lull you to sleep,
is a brother who corrects without humiliating,
is a gaze that sees without judging,
is a hand that guides without pulling,
is an oasis that refreshes without making you idle,
is tenderness that heals without controlling,
is a heart that loves—freely, without force.
And a path to whom
will never grow over with weeds.

Life forms across this planet number in the trillions.
They follow no calendar, no balance sheet, no currency. They breathe because life breathes. They grow because growth is their nature.
They hunt, rest, die, and are born again, without contracts, without invoices, without guilt.
99.9998% of all life exists without money. Not because of a lack of it, but because it remembers.
Only a tiny fraction has forgotten who it is.
That fraction created an artificial system and declared it to be reality.
It began to believe that human beings are here to work, to function, to consume, to pay insurance, pay taxes, and protect themselves from risks that were often created by the system itself.
From the same misunderstanding grew borders, hierarchies, and wars.
People set out to kill and die for symbols, lines drawn on maps, and stories that have little to do with life and everything to do with fear.
This is not destiny.
It is a collective trance.
The real illusion is not a life without money.
The illusion is the belief that life must be controlled, measured, valued, and somehow earned.
We are not here to sell ourselves.
We were not born to exchange our time for the right to exist.
We are here to feel, to remember, to love, and to experience life through our own being.
Every flower knows this. 🌸
Every tree lives it. Every animal trusts it.
Only humans have been taught to distrust themselves.
Perhaps now is not the time to build a new system.
Perhaps it is time to awaken from the old one.
Back into the body. Back into the breath.
Back into the truth that life carries no price tag.
And that everything which truly lives has always found a way to sustain itself.

While waiting for a better future, an entire lifetime slips away.
In truth, there is no time for waiting.

“Do not confuse love with mere physical attraction. Physical pleasure is fleeting and, when pursued as the sole aim, becomes degrading. Love is selflessness — the surrender of one’s own being in order to create another, where the spirits of the lovers merge into one. Only then does love become eternal.”

If God were to forget for a moment that I am merely a puppet and grant me a little more life, I would use that time as best I could.
Perhaps I would not say everything I think, but I would certainly think carefully about everything I say. I would value things not for what they are worth, but for what they mean.
I would sleep less and dream more.
I know that for every minute we close our eyes, we lose sixty seconds of light. I would walk while others stand still, awaken while others sleep.
If God granted me a little more life, I would dress simply and surrender myself to the sun, revealing not only my body, but my soul.
I would show people how mistaken they are when they believe they are too old to fall in love, not realizing that they grow old precisely because they stop loving.
I would give wings to a child, but I would let them fly on their own once they had learned how.
To the elderly, I would say that death does not come with old age, but with being forgotten.
I have learned so much from you, humanity...
I have learned that everyone wants to live at the top of the mountain, forgetting that true happiness is found in the way we climb it.
I have learned that when a newborn child first grasps their father’s finger with their tiny hand, they hold on to it forever.
I have learned that a person has the right to look down on another only when helping them rise.
There are so many things I have learned from you, but in truth, very few of them will matter once they place me in a coffin, because then I will no longer be alive.
Always say what you feel and do what you believe.
If I knew that today would be the last time I saw you sleeping, I would hold you tightly and pray to the Lord to let me be your guardian angel.
If I knew these were the last moments I would see you, I would say “I love you” and not foolishly assume you already knew.
There is always a tomorrow, and life gives us another chance to make things right. But if I am mistaken, and today is all we have left, then I want to tell you how much I love you and that I will never forget you.
Tomorrow is promised to no one, neither young nor old. Today may be the last time you see those you love. So do not wait. Do it today, because if tomorrow never comes, you will regret the day you were too busy to give a smile, a kiss, or to fulfill one final wish.
Stay close to those you love. Tell them how much they mean to you, how much you need them, and how deeply you love them. Be kind to them. Take the time to say, “I’m sorry,” “Forgive me,” “Please,” “Thank you,” and all the other words of love you know.
No one will remember you for your secret thoughts. Ask the Lord for the strength and wisdom to express them. Show your friends and loved ones how much they truly matter to you.
— Gabriel García Márquez

“The most fascinating thing about places like this isn’t even the stored supplies, the wood, or the old walls.
What truly stands out is that everything had its place, its value, and its time. Nothing was made simply to look good.
Today, people can have access to almost everything… yet still not know how to create a place where they can truly rest.
Maybe the problem of modern life is not the lack of comfort, but the loss of the ability to live in a way that gives a person a sense of inner stability.
And if suddenly half of the things we now consider essential were taken away — would we still have a sense of security within us… or only panic?

It is said that in a small village, a retired teacher and a wealthy merchant lived side by side.
Both had planted flowers and plants in their gardens.
The teacher watered his plants patiently and without excess.
The merchant, blessed with wealth and resources, watered his plants generously and cared for them constantly.
As the days passed, the merchant’s plants looked far more beautiful — tall, green, vibrant, and full of life.
The teacher’s plants seemed simpler, yet strong and resilient.
One day, a violent storm struck the village. Heavy rain and fierce winds raged throughout the night.
The next morning, the villagers went outside to inspect the damage.
To the merchant’s shock, all of his plants had been uprooted and destroyed.
In contrast, the teacher’s plants were still standing, almost as if nothing had happened.
Surprised, the merchant asked the teacher:
“How is this possible? My plants were better cared for than yours — larger, more beautiful — and yet they could not survive.”
The teacher smiled and replied:
“By giving your plants everything, you made them fragile.
They never had to search for their own resources.
When I limited the water in my garden, I forced my plants to stretch their roots deep into the earth in order to survive.
That invisible strength is what saved them.”
〰 Moral of the story:
Too much comfort weakens.
Difficulties build lasting strength.
