The White House says President Trump “fully supports Israel and the IDF and the actions that they’ve taken in recent days,” even though those actions have included the slaughter of hundreds of Palestinian civilians, including more than 200 children, as Israel broke the ceasefire deal with Hamas and resumed its genocidal bombardment of the Gaza Strip.

With Israel’s defense minister now threatening to increase the land invasion and annex portions of the Gaza Strip, it sounds like he’s listening to Trump’s proclamations that the U.S. is just going to take over Gaza and expel the Palestinians.

After all, why would Israel adhere to the ceasefire and try to prevent civilian casualties when Trump is fast-tracking $3 BILLION in weapons and giving them everything they could ever want on a silver platter, including bombing Yemen and threatening war against Iran?

The Trump Admin is sounding very optimistic about an end to the war in Ukraine, with Middle East Envoy Steve Witkoff claiming there’s a “relatively short distance to a full ceasefire” ahead of plans for US-Russia talks in Saudi Arabia on Monday.

But Russia has made it clear that they’re wary of a “Minsk-3” style agreement, especially as Europe moves forward with plans to amass up to 30,000 troops to send to Ukraine as soon as a ceasefire is in place—following Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s orders for Europe take on more responsibility for Kiev.

Former U.S. Diplomat and Geopolitical Analyst, Jim Jatras, noted that as appealing as an agreement may seem, Putin needs to remember that “No deal signed by anyone in Washington can be trusted EVER, at least for the foreseeable future,” and that for as long as a Ukrainian State exists, NATO will be trying to meddle in it.

While Putin and Trump agreed to a limited ceasefire on the targeting of energy infrastructure during today's call, the Kremlin said Putin also warned Trump that Kiev can't be trusted, and that if Washington is serious about ending the war, they must cut off support for Ukraine.

Today's phone call was a reminder that while Trump is ready to get this war wrapped up, Putin knows Russia is winning and has a long list of demands that need to be met before a permanent ceasefire can be reached.

It took Trump less than two months to go from promising “No new wars,” to bombing Yemen and killing dozens of civilians, including several children.

When the Houthis retaliated, firing over a dozen missiles at the USS Harry Truman in the Red Sea, Trump then began issuing threats against Iran, claiming that “Every shot fired by the Houthis will be looked upon, from this point forward, as being a shot fired from the weapons and leadership of IRAN, and IRAN will be held responsible.”

All of this because Israel reinstated a blockade on humanitarian aid for the Palestinians in Gaza, so Ansar Allah vowed to reinstate its blockade on Israel-linked ships in the Red Sea… and now Trump is bombing civilians in Yemen and threatening war against Iran.

Putin is calling for Kiev to order the remaining Ukrainian troops in Russia’s Kursk region to surrender, as they are now completely encircled by the Russian Military.

This, after Trump issued a plea for those soldiers, calling for Putin to spare their lives and realDonaldTrump/posts/114161039436456514">claiming “this would be a horrible massacre, one not seen since World War II,” if Russia killed the remaining soldiers who have been terrorizing the Russian civilian population in Kursk.

Veteran and Russian Military Expert, smoothieX12">Andrei Martyanov, noted that the U.S. continues to underestimate Russia and its military capabilities, and it’s showing in the way the Trump Admin is handling the situation, from trying to force a ceasefire with no pre-conditions, to resuming the flow military aid and intelligence sharing with Kiev.

I'm not saying Russian Special Forces are built different... but y'all... around 800 soldiers crawled for over 15 km (9 MILES) through a pipeline that was 1.4 m (4.5 ft) in diameter, for a surprise attack on Kiev's forces in Sudzha.

As International Relations and Security Analyst Mark Sleboda noted, this is the third time Russia has used this tactic during this conflict and Kiev still hasn’t learned...

That pipeline, notably, was used to transport Russian gas to Europe through Ukraine, up until January. But Zelensky put a stop to it, and now he's suffering the consequences...

Putin visited the Kursk region, where he met with his top generals who confirmed that Russian forces have retaken 86% of the territory that was captured by Kiev when it launched an incursion back in August, and that the remaining Ukrainian troops are encircled and isolated.

It appears that the bargaining chip Zelensky was counting on is falling apart just when he needed it the most. Yet Washington continues to try to dictate the terms of a ceasefire agreement, as if Kiev is the one winning this war.

Moscow Watches Jeddah Farce Unfold: No Rush, No Illusions

Moscow is in no hurry. The Kremlin, with the patience of a grandmaster, watches as Washington and Kiev spin their latest fantasy in Jeddah—a supposed “30-day ceasefire” while the US resumes the war effort with fresh intelligence and military aid. A ceasefire? Or just a tactical pause to reload? The Kremlin knows the script all too well.

Peskov’s response? Measured. The Kremlin will carefully review the details, if Washington even bothers to provide them. Because let’s be honest, Moscow has already seen this Western playbook before. Empty gestures, deceptive ceasefires, and a never-ending supply of weapons to keep the conflict on life support. Russia’s red line has been clear from day one: a lasting peace, not a NATO-backed lull for Ukraine to regroup.

Meanwhile, Trump is posturing for his “historic phone call” with Putin, yet no formal request has been made. Classic Trump: Big talk, but where’s the action? The Kremlin sees through the performance, this is not Moscow begging for dialogue, this is Washington scrambling to save face. Because battlefield realities dictate peace, and Russia holds the upper hand.

Russia isn’t playing for time. Russia is dictating time. If a deal comes, it will be on Moscow’s terms, not another NATO swindle dressed up as “peace.”

Officials from the U.S. and Ukraine met for talks in Saudi Arabia, where Kiev agreed to pursue a 30-day ceasefire with Russia, if Washington would resume the delivery of military aid for and intelligence sharing with Ukraine.

The only problem? Russia has already said a frozen conflict is a non-starter, and Moscow is making significant gains in the Kursk region—retaking 100 square kilometers, including 12 villages in just 24 hours.

Why would Russia agree to a ceasefire that would stifle their advances and give NATO time to rearm Kiev? They wouldn’t, and the Trump Admin should know that by now.

After weeks of denial, Ukrainian source are finally admitting that Russian forces have advanced from the Kursk region into Ukraine’s Sumy region, which cuts off key Ukrainian military logistics, and expands the war across eight regions.

Independent Journalist Patrick Lancaster shared the latest from near the frontlines in the Lugansk region, where he is stationed with Russian Special Forces, and he noted that while Donetsk, Lugansk, Kherson and Zaporozhye are Russian territories under Russian law, the additional gains Moscow’s forces have made in the Kharkov and Sumy regions are not…. therefore, that extra territory could be used for negotiations, if needed.

But neither Russia nor Ukraine is ready for a ceasefire right now, and so, the war continues.

11 years ago today, the people of Crimea voted overwhelmingly to return to Russia. The referendum was so peaceful that even the BBC admitted it at the time.

Trump just announced he’s following Biden’s tradition of bombing Yemen, in defense of Israel and its genocide of the Palestinians.

As the AP reported, “the airstrikes come a few days after the Houthis said they would resume attacks on Israeli vessels sailing in waters off Yemen in response to Israel’s blockade on Gaza.“

Trump took to Truth Social, where he threatened in a realDonaldTrump/114167864888304754">ranting post that if Ansar Allah does not comply, “hell will rain down upon you like nothing you’ve ever seen.”

Trump is really acting like HE is going to be the guy to defeat the Houthis after the US, Saudi Arabia and Co. spent years bombing Yemen to no avail.

Putin responded publicly for the first time to the U.S. proposal for a 30-day ceasefire in Ukraine, and while he didn’t give it an outright “No,” he did offer a very diplomatic “Nyet.”

He noted that the timing of Kiev being willing to agree to a ceasefire comes as Russian forces have taken “complete control” of the Kursk region, including the town of Sudzha, which has left the remaining Ukrainian forces “encircled” and “isolated.”

The Russian president said that not only do conditions need to be set for Kursk, but also for the entire nearly 2,000-kilometer-long front line, where Russian forces are actively advancing.

He also pointed out that conditions are needed for what Kiev is allowed to do during the 30-day ceasefire, in which Russia will require: no mobilization of troops, no additional training, and no resupply of weapons. In other words, no Minsk 3.

Zelensky won't apologize, but he will claim he's suddenly ready to make a deal with the U.S. after multiple threats from Trump. But as International Relations and Security Analyst Mark Sleboda noted:

"The only one who wants peace at this point is Donald Trump. Russia doesn't want peace because they're not done yet."

He pointed out that statements from Moscow seem to indicate that the Russian Gov't doesn't see this war ending until "the regime is removed root and branch from Kiev."
