Trump is herding cats.
I’m not sure that most people understand how careful and dangerous a game this is. Everyone wants to use the j-word, “just.”
“He should just this and just that.”
There is no just. There are complex systems, entrenched enemies, subterfuge, hidden agendas and all manner of intentions pushing in every direction.
There are madmen and evil energies that must be manipulated and gently pushed upon to bring a good final outcome. Push too hard in any direction and catastrophe awaits.
Sadly, most people think like sledgehammers and cannot appreciate the nuance of the scalpel.
This is a game of 5D chess. Every countermove has to be considered before a piece is moved on the board. It’s a game of subtlety and deep consideration.
I don’t mean any condescension at all, here. I do think for our own peace of mind we need to have a better appreciation for the intricate nature of what we are watching unfold.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) on Thursday sent out termination notices to more than 500,000 migrants who were admitted to the United States under the Biden administration's parole program.
The Trump administration previously teased ending the Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans (CHNV) parole program back in March, but had not enforced it until Thursday. The program allowed up to 30,000 migrants from each of the countries to enter the United States each month if they had a stateside sponsor.
The DHS said the termination notices, which were sent to emails the migrants listed on their applications, inform migrants that both their parole and parole-based employment authorization is immediately revoked.
“The Biden Administration lied to America," Assistant DHS Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said in a statement. "They allowed more than half a million poorly vetted aliens from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela and their immediate family members to enter the United States through these disastrous parole programs; granted them opportunities to compete for American jobs and undercut American workers; forced career civil servants to promote the programs even when fraud was identified; and then blamed Republicans in Congress for the chaos that ensued and the crime that followed.
The department also urged all migrants who receive the notice, if they have not already obtained legal status some other way, to immediately self-deport through its app, which would give them travel assistance and a $1,000 bonus.

Tucker Carlson and his business partner, Neil Patel, recently bought out investors in their media company, Tucker Carlson Network (TCN), a source familiar with the deal tells Axios.
The deal gives the pair complete independence and total control of the company they co-founded in 2023.
"It's hard to claim you're independent when other people own your company, so we decided not to take investments or loans of any kind," Carlson told Axios in a statement, confirming the deal.

we killed Soleimani, Iran called him to tell him that they were about to send missiles toward a certain location, but they were going to purposely miss the target 🤯

Give credit where it is due. Most of the Israeli strikes on Iranian leaders were precise enough to take out just the targeted individual without causing civilian casualties.
