BREAKINGπ¨: FBI New York Field Office agents and management personnel are responding to assist at an active crime scene in Manhattan, according to FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino.
An active shooter situation has been reported in Midtown Manhattan, prompting a large emergency response, according to preliminary information.
The New York Police Department said on Monday evening that the incident was reported in the area of East 52nd Street between Park and Lexington Avenues, near the Park Avenue Plaza building and a few blocks from St. Patrickβs Cathedral and the Rockefeller Center.
βExpect emergency vehicles & delays in the surrounding area,β NYPD said in a post on social media.
Reporters at the scene described an βactive shootingβ situation, based on information provided by police at the scene. It remains unclear whether there are any victims.

ABC NEWS: The Trump administration has accepted the βunconditional donationβ of a luxury jet from Qatar, with no stipulation on what should happen to the aircraft after President Donald Trump leaves office, according to an agreement reviewed by ABC News.
