NY Times: President Trump intends to meet in person with President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia as soon as next week, and he plans to follow up shortly afterward with a meeting between himself, Mr. Putin and President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine, according to two people familiar with the plan.
Mr. Trump disclosed his plans in a call with European leaders on Wednesday, the people said. The meetings would include only those three men, and would not include any European counterparts. The European leaders, who have tried to play a coordinating role on meetings to end the violence between Russia and Ukraine while supporting their European neighbor, appeared to accept what Mr. Trump said, one of the people familiar with the call said.
It was not immediately clear if Mr. Putin or Mr. Zelensky had agreed to the plan Mr. Trump described. But Mr. Zelensky was on Mr. Trumpβs call with European leaders, saying in a statement afterward that he had a βconversation with President Trumpβ and that his and European leadersβ position was that βthe war must end,β but βan honest end.β
The call also included the leader of the United Kingdom, the German chancellor and the NATO secretary general, along with Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Mr. Trumpβs special envoy, Steve Witkoff.

In the spirit of transparency, I want to share what really happened with We The Media.
WTM was born after the Twitter purge, trusted anons united by a mission to share truth. Thanks to their ethics and hard work, WTM became a reliable source of news and commentary.
In 2022, an internal op fractured the group. One cofounder was accused of being Mossad, and amid the chaos, the channel ended up in the hands of Jordan Sather. He was trusted to carry the torch and keep WTM together.
What he did was anything but.
Since taking control of WTM, Jordan has quietly, without cause or consent, removed most of the original team from WTM, including the other remaining co-founder Kate, which he had no right to do.
Heβs continued to keep the channel for personal gain, while exploiting others' work. Most followers probably donβt realize that nearly all the content on WTM for the past year has come from one person who stepped up to help keep it going, not the diverse team of trusted voices it once was. Jordan has used this person quietly doing all the work to keep the channel alive while the original team was pushed out.
Jordan has been asked multiple times to do the right thing and give the channel back to the team so it can be returned to what it once was. He ignores the requests each time.
This is no longer the WTM people once trusted. The original team is now at @WeTheMediaOG until this gets resolved. We hope Jordan will eventually do the right thing.

President Donald Trump is moving forward with plans to add a massive 90,000-square-foot ballroom to the White House, a project he says will be paid for entirely by himself and private donors, in a post where the president also touted that he has donated his paycheck to the White House Historical Association. The initiative is part of a broader effort by Trump to renovate and expand the historic presidential residence without using taxpayer dollars.
In a post to Truth Social, Trump wrote: "I am proud to be the only President (with the possible exception of the Late, Great George Washington) to donate my Salary. My first 'Paycheck' went to the White House Historical Association, as we make much needed renovations to the beautiful 'Peopleβs House.' The ballroom project is scheduled to break ground in September and will be constructed adjacent to the East Wing. The administration has confirmed that the goal is to complete the new space before Trumpβs term ends in January 2029. Host Mike Slater noted how the PELOSI Act sounds good on the surface, but he asked why so many conservatives are skeptical.

UPDATE: The suspect was a male soldier
The shooting at the 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team area was reported at 10:56 a.m. The suspect -- a male soldier, according to a U.S. official -- was apprehended at 11:35 a.m., Fort Stewart said.
No fatalities were reported, a U.S. official said. The soldiers' conditions were not immediately clear, but two of the victims were rushed to Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, which is a Level 1 trauma center, hospital officials told ABC News.
Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp said on social media, "We are keeping the victims, their families, and all those who answer the call to serve in our hearts and prayers."
President Donald Trump has been briefed on the shooting, according to White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt.

A U.S. Air Force WC-135R aircraft took off from RAF Mildenhall, a major U.K. base in the east of England, before traveling north along the coast west of Norway, according to the flight-tracking platform Flightradar24.

Ruiz will now spend 80 years behind bars for sexually abusing multiple children as young as 2 and 3 years old and filming the abuse.
