Florida GOP Rep. Anna Paulina Luna said that foreign governments worked with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Luna posted on X about the deceased financier on Tuesday, referencing congressional testimony from Epstein victims earlier that day. House Republicans on Tuesday released 33,000 files they received from the Justice Department regarding Epstein.

In Luna's post, she wrote, "Foreign governments (as in more than one) were named to be working with Epstein."

She also said that there will be names in the files Congress released, and "Per the victims, we need to follow the money trail. This was a well orchestrated operation with many tentacles to include shell corporations, etc."

She added that House Oversight and Government Reform Chairman Comer "is sending a SARS request to the US Treasury. There is a lot to uncover ref the Deutsche Bank and how money was funneled and moved."

Luna also noted that "Epstein’s network was described as an international trafficking network to all members of congress who were present (both Democrat and Republican) and also involved trafficking women from Slavic nations as well. Immigration fraud, etc. Many of those women have stayed silent due to fear of retribution."

The woman who provided critical evidence that allowed federal prosecutors to charge Jeffrey Epstein with sex trafficking of minors in 2019 is speaking out publicly for the first time, urging lawmakers to release records related to the convicted sex offender to help his victims heal.

Sources say Marina Lacerda, 37, was identified in Epstein's 2019 indictment as "Minor-Victim 1" and provided key information that helped prosecutors put the sex offender behind bars.

Speaking publicly for the first time in an interview with ABC News, Lacerda called on the Trump administration to release their records related to Epstein and encouraged other survivors of abuse to come forward

"I would like for them to give all the victims transparency, right, to what happened and release these files. It's also not only for the victims, but for the American people," Lacerda told ABC News' Linsey Davis regarding Epstein, the wealthy financier and convicted sex offender who died by suicide in a New York jail in 2019.

Federal investigators first contacted Lacerda in 2008, but Epstein secured a controversial and once-secret non-prosecution agreement with federal prosecutors before she could tell a grand jury about her allegations of childhood sex abuse. Investigators returned to Lacerda more than ten years later, using her experiences to build a case that charged Epstein with sex trafficking minors in New York.

NEW‼️: A newly released congressional video fills a one-minute gap in earlier surveillance from notorious financier Jeffrey Epstein’s jail unit on the night of his 2019 suicide.

Two key clips, part of a nearly 34,000-file drop by the House Oversight Committee Tuesday night, revealed the highly contested minute missing from surveillance footage filmed outside Epstein’s cell block in the Metropolitan Correctional Center.

The disputed minute lasted from 11:58:59 on August 9, 2019, to midnight on Aug. 10, 2019.

The new drop from the House committee shows the camera data switched at about midnight, leading to a necessary binding of the two clips for a consecutive video.

Fox News Digital combined the two clips after the latest release on Tuesday, showing there was indeed no lapse in footageβ€”contradicting Attorney General Pam Bondi's previous explanation that the last minute of footage is deleted every night.

It is unclear why the footage disappeared, though the minute that was missing from the original drop did not reveal any action inside the jail block.

Update on censorship war from X Global Government Affairs

Last October, Ireland's media regulator, CoimisiΓΊn na MeΓ‘n, rolled out its Online Safety Codeβ€”a binding set of rules under the Online Safety and Media Regulation Act of 2022. Created for video-sharing platforms like X, it initially included general obligations in November, and increasingly introduced tougher requirements like age verification starting late last month. Platforms face quarterly compliance reports and steep fines for actions deemed to be slip-ups. Since X is based in Ireland, this code applies across the entire EU.

X challenged key parts of the Code in Ireland's High Court, alleging regulatory overreach. We argued it strays beyond the law it is meant to implement –the Audiovisual Media Services Directive (AVMSD); clashes with the EU’s Digital Services Act (DSA); and hands regulators sweeping powers to police "harmful" content. Despite our strong objections, the judge dismissed our case, insisting AVMSD and DSA complement one another and the regulator stayed within its remit.

This ruling opens the door for national watchdogs to go even further, layering on rules stricter than the EU's DSA baseline. While pitched as child protection and harm reduction, the Online Safety Code threatens to splinter Europe's digital single market by opening the door to a patchwork of conflicting local laws. Worse, it risks curbing freedom of speech in ways that clash with the European Convention on Human Rights.

X isn't backing downβ€”we've applied to the High Court to appeal the decision. Free expression is non-negotiable, and we'll keep fighting for a unified, open internet where voices aren't silenced by fragmented overregulation.

Top Republican Rep. Nancy Mace dramatically exited a meeting with survivors of Jeffrey Epstein's abuse in tears.

The South Carolina Republican had been attending a private meeting between lawmakers and the abuse survivors before leaving early on Tuesday.

Photos of her leaving the session show Mace, 47, in tears, visibly upset with what had transpired behind the closed doors.

She later took to social media to address why she left the meeting early: 'Since it’s already being reported - Yes I left the Oversight briefing with Epstein victims early,' she wrote on X.

'As a recent survivor (not 2 years in), I had a very difficult time listening to their stories. Full blown panic attack. Sweating. Hyperventilating. Shaking. I can’t breathe,' the Republican continued.

'I feel the immense pain of how hard all victims are fighting for themselves because we know absolutely no one will fight for us. God bless all survivors.'

The survivors were meeting with investigators on the House Oversight Committee, who are currently probing the late financier, his crimes and his network. The survivors are taking to Capitol Hill to share their experiences and to advocate for trafficking victims.

Epstein survivors Teresa Helm and Jess Michaels were among the survivors expected to appear on Capitol Hill this week, though it was unclear if they were in Tuesday's meeting. The women are pushing for Congress to address Epstein-related issues and child sex trafficking reforms.
