BREAKINGπ¨π¨: Democratic Rep. Ro Khanna of California and Republican Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky are reigniting their push for the Justice Department to release files in the Jeffrey Epstein case.
Khanna says that "people are going to be outraged" after seeing a news conference he and Massie are holding on Wednesday with 10 victims of the late convicted sex offender.
The news conference is part of the effort by Khanna and Massie to pass through the House a bill requiring the Justice Department to release its files on the Epstein case.
"These victims haven't spoken for decades. When Epstein got that lenient plea deal, no one talked to the victims or their lawyers," Khanna said Monday in a Fox News Digital interview.
"My belief is, when the American people actually hear the victims for the first time, they are going to sympathize, their hearts are going to be broken, and all the victims are saying is for closure," he predicted.
Khanna argued that "there are a lot of other rich, powerful men, politicians, business leaders, who have committed abuse and who have not been held accountable. That's what we're going to hear on Sept. 3, and people are going to be outraged, and I don't see how, after that, the House can't vote for the release of these files."

NEW: The world's biggest academic association of genocide scholars has passed a resolution saying the legal criteria have been met to establish Israel is committing genocide in Gaza, its president said on Monday.
Eighty-six percent of those who voted among the 500-member International Association of Genocide Scholars backed the resolution declaring Israelβs "policies and actions in Gaza" had met the legal definition set out in Article II of the 1948 UN convention on genocide.
Israel's Foreign Ministry called the statement disgraceful and "entirely based on Hamas' campaign of lies". Israel has in the past strongly denied that its actions in Gaza amount to genocide and says they are justified as self defence. It is fighting a case at the International Court of Justice in the Hague that accuses it of genocide.
Israel launched its assault on the Gaza Strip in October 2023, after fighters from Hamas, the Palestinian militant group in control of the territory, attacked Israeli communities, killing 1,200 people and capturing more than 250 hostages.

19-year-old woman has been identified as a driver involved in a car crash that injured former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani and two others.
Lauren Kemp, of Concord, was driving the Honda HR-V that struck the rear of the Ford Bronco that Giuliani, 81, was travelling in on Saturday evening, New Hampshire State Police said in a statement on Sunday.
Troopers were investigating a domestic violence report on the southbound Interstate 93 highway shortly before 10 p.m., when they witnessed the crash on the northbound lanes, state police said. Troopers and fire personnel provided assistance.
Giuliani was taken to a nearby trauma center, where he was treated for a fractured thoracic vertebra, multiple lacerations and contusions, as well as injuries to his left arm and lower leg, Michael Ragusa, Giuliani's head of security, said in a statement posted on X.

On the evening of August 30, 2025, in New Hampshire, Mayor Giuliani was involved in a motor vehicle accident. Prior to the incident, he was flagged down by a woman who was the victim of a domestic violence incident. Mayor Giuliani immediately rendered assistance and contacted 911. He remained on scene until responding officers arrived to ensure her safety.
Following this, while traveling on the highway, Mayor Giuliani's vehicle was struck from behind at high speed. He was transported to a nearby trauma center, where he was diagnosed with a fractured thoracic vertebrae, multiple lacerations and contusions, as well as injuries to his left arm and lower leg.
His business partner and medical provider were promptly contacted and arrived at the hospital to oversee his care.
At this time, no further updates are available.
This is the only statement authorized by Mayor Giuliani.

I hate that he has to follow these rulings so much!!! But I get it. Optics. In the end he's dragging all the conspirators out of the shadows and forcing them to show who they are to America so when he takes them down it will be with one fell swoop and then the judicial swamp will be no more.
