Rep. James Comer, chair of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, said Friday his panel had begun receiving materials from the Treasury Department as part of its investigation into the agencyβs handling of the case against Jeffrey Epstein.
Some suspicious activity reports, which have been redacted, are already in the panelβs possession, the Kentucky Republican told reporters just before congressional investigators began their interview with Alex Acosta. Acosta, Trumpβs former Secretary of Labor, brokered the controversial plea deal during his tenure as U.S. attorney in southern Florida that many believe allowed Epstein to continue to prey on women for years.
Comer added that the panel had plans to see unredacted materials on site at Treasury.

I couldnβt agree more. We most certainly do not need a man made way of teaching. The adversary is very good at taking man made teachings while mingling them with scripture. As he is the master of lies, we cannot afford to allow anything outside of Him and his teachings to hold influence over our hearts. ICYMI: The United States voted down a United Nations Security Council resolution calling for a permanent end to the fighting in Gaza and the release of all hostages on the grounds that it did not contain sufficient condemnation of Hamas.

A Cirrus SR22T crashed in a field in Franklin, North Carolina, around 3 p.m. local time on Thursday, according to a statement from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)
Three people were on board the plane when it crashed, officials confirmed. Nobody who was on board survived.
The Macon County Sheriff's Office told ABC Newsβ Asheville affiliate station WLOS that the crash happened on a property adjacent to the Iotla Valley Elementary School, but that students and staff at the school have all been reported safe.

The committee voted to change its recommendation on the combined MMRV vaccine, saying "the combined MMRV vaccine is not recommended" before age 4, but children in that age group can receive separate doses of the MMR and varicella vaccines.

Boone was a voice for truth, for patriots, and for the veteran community across the nation. He was truly a brother to all who have borne the weight of war β in its many forms. His lifeβs work was dedicated to giving hope and strength to veterans suffering from war-related injuries, Post Traumatic Stress, Traumatic Brain Injuries, and many other unseen scars of combat.
I am calling on all those who Boone has stood alongside, to take a moment β give a moment to Boone and his wonderful family. Reflect on his unbelievable life of service and sacrifice, all purposely and divinely created to protect others and defend our nation. He fought for all of us in so many ways.
