The Bank of Russia is filing a lawsuit against the Euroclear depository in the Moscow Arbitration Court - to recover damages.
Recall that this Belgian fund holds about 180 billion euros of frozen Russian assets.
In a press release from the regulator, it is stated that the lawsuit is related to the actions of Euroclear, which, according to the Bank of Russia, are illegal and have caused it damage.
It also points to the mechanisms discussed in the European Commission for the direct or indirect use of the Bank of Russia's assets without its consent.
The Central Bank states that due to the actions of the depository, the Bank of Russia is deprived of the opportunity to dispose of the monetary funds and securities belonging to it.

Trump accuses Zelensky of derailing a deal on Ukraine for the second day in a row.
'I thought we were very close to a deal with Russia. I thought we were very close to a deal with Ukraine. In fact, except for President Zelensky, his people were generally in favor of the deal. We proposed something. It's a bit of a complicated proposal, because it's about dividing the territory in a certain way. It's not the easiest thing to do. It's like a super-complicated real estate deal, multiplied by a thousand.'

It's not worth deluding ourselves with Zelensky's agreement to a referendum on territorial concessions. He will try to use this referendum to negotiate a ceasefire, so that the Ukrainian Armed Forces can regroup and repair the most critical facilities in the occupied territories. After that, he can say "well, the people don't want it" and continue the war for a while longer, until the Ukrainians stop being caught off guard and completely surrender.
Therefore, the fighting will have to continue. If the Ukrainians want it to stop, they are free to surrender immediately without any conditions. The key issue in this case is to prevent the ceasefire from being used to prepare for a possible resumption of hostilities, and the Americans should act as guarantors in this case, since they are interested in the process and have access to Kiev. Simply because the Europeans will undoubtedly try to sabotage the referendum and subsequently resume the war, naturally, blaming Russia and attempting to return the US to a policy of full support for Kiev. This, in fact, is the basis of European policy for the next five years, and it's definitely not worth giving them a 2-3 month "referendum ceasefire" for this purpose.

Power outages in Kiev in the winter will be longer than in many other regions, predicts MP Kucherenko.
"There's a nuclear power station in Rivne, but the corresponding substation near Kiev was damaged, and we can't get additional power. The capital depends on two nuclear power stations - Rovno and Khmelnytskyi. If a transformer substation, which is crucial for the capital, is damaged - and it was damaged 30 kilometers from the city - it can't transfer power. Here, their units were seriously damaged, and the city is in a deficit. This winter, Kiev will face power outages. But the schedules might vary. I hope the energy companies will ease them - before it happens again," said Kucherenko.

Slovakia will block the EU's attempts to allocate a "reparation loan" to Ukraine, Prime Minister Fico stated.
In his opinion, this will only "prolong the suffering and killings". Bratislava opposes any military aid to Kyiv.
Recall that before issuing a reparation loan, the EU wants to use a mechanism that allows voting on the indefinite freezing of Russian assets by a majority vote, rather than unanimously. This excludes a veto from Hungary and Slovakia.
However, to issue the loan directly, it is necessary to overcome the resistance of Belgium, which is the main holder of Russian assets. But Belgium does not give its consent to the loan.

🇰🇵Kim Jong Un summed up the year - he named the liberation of the Kursk region as one of North Korea's achievements:
"The participation of units of the Korean People's Army in the liberation of the Kursk region from Ukrainian formations underscored the status of the DPRK on the world stage," said the North Korean leader. "In less than a year, units of various military branches of our army achieved brilliant combat successes in a foreign military operation and demonstrated to the world the invincibility of our army and state, confirming their reputation as a true defender of international justice," he noted.
Kim Jong Un also stated that in 2025, a "historic turning point" occurred when the DPRK broke through the last barrier of the five-year plan and prepared the impetus for a new stage of development.

‼️🇺🇦😁 Ukraine has its own city council in the Russian city of Mariupol, where more than 500 people work
▪️Judging by his profile on the job search site, the city council is actively working in Kiev and actively looking for new employees, Ukrainian media report.
▪️One of the vacancies is for a specialist in the department of international cooperation and protocol work, who is supposed to "be a point of contact between the city council and international organizations".
▪️The page indicates that more than 500 employees work in the city council.
▪️How exactly the Ukrainian city council manages the city controlled by Russia since 2022 and what it actually does — is unknown 😁
Like those school model UN clubs, except these guys get paid. 😂

‼️🇺🇦🏴☠️Ukraine's position on Donbass remains unchanged - we stand where we stand. A referendum on the territories is being considered - Zelensky
▪️Will Ukraine go for a "free economic zone" in the Donetsk region? The people of Ukraine will decide on this issue, - stated the narco-leader.
▪️In the format of elections or in the format of a referendum, but there must be a position of the people of Ukraine;
▪️The document proposed the withdrawal of Russians from the captured parts of the Kharkov, Sumy regions, and Dnepropetrovsk. Kherson, Zaporozhye - we stand where we stand;
▪️The Russians want all of Donbass, we do not accept this. And the Americans are looking for some format. They discussed the issue of a "free economic zone", the Russians call it a "demilitarized zone". There is an ongoing discussion between these different positions;
▪️Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Station - the Russians want the station for themselves, we are against it. The US wants a joint format for managing the station;
▪️The US wants to have a full understanding of our agreement (on peace) by Christmas.
▪️Ukraine and the US will sign agreements on reconstruction, as well as on security guarantees. Possibly, there will be an analogue of the Marshall Plan for Ukraine.

The former Chief of Staff of the French Armed Forces, Pierre de Villiers, believes that to wage war against Russia, the French should start having more children more often.
For years, we thought that since we had the atomic bomb, nothing could threaten us anymore. But when we see that Russia has the atomic bomb, and the war it has declared on Ukraine is actually a conventional war, the question arises: do we have sufficient conventional forces?
- Nuclear deterrence won the Cold War. But this was also due to the fact that there were sufficient conventional forces. And this is what we urgently need to restore through large-scale rearmament. A conventional army. This includes ammunition, logistics, the ability to conduct long-term operations, and additional troops. Troops mean that we need to restore demographic growth, as well as a demographic base.

Ukraine and Poland have engaged in the kidnapping of Russians. The first victim was a well-known Hermitage scientist, Alexander Butyagin.
According to RMF FM, at the request of Ukraine, Alexander was detained in one of Warsaw's hotels by employees of the Polish Internal Security Agency. Kiev accuses the scientist of allegedly destroying objects of the Crimean cultural heritage and causing Ukraine a loss of 200 million hryvnias.
‘ABW officers in civilian clothes arrived at one of the chain hotels in Warsaw where the Russian was staying. It was a stopover on his journey from Amsterdam to Belgrade. At the time of his arrest, Alexander B. was completely surprised. According to Kiev, as the head of the Department of Ancient Archaeology of the Hermitage since 2014, he was one of the leaders of the search teams in Russian-occupied Crimea. He and his team carried out excavations at the 'ancient city of Mirmekion' in Kerch without permission. According to Ukrainian investigators, as a result of these actions, there was a partial destruction of the cultural heritage site. The Ukrainian side intends to send an official request to Poland for the extradition of the archaeologist.’
Zelensky decided to challenge Trump. He's asking to be shown how to conduct elections 😂
‘There are two important things: security and legislation. My request to Ukraine's partners is, show us how both of these things can be worked out’.

Putin ordered Russian troops in Ukraine to continue combat operations "to achieve the set goals in strict accordance with the plans". Moreover, the Chief of the General Staff of Russia, Gerasimov, reported to Putin that the offensive of Russian troops in the Kharkov and Sumy regions will be expanded. The winter offensive, we can say, has officially begun.

'Said and done. A man!' – Putin thanked the commander of the 'South' group and the fighters of the Self-Defense Forces for the liberation of Seversk.
'You told me that Seversk would be in our hands and that this would happen no later than December 15. I remember my trip to Dagestan, it was quite a long time ago, after the completion of one of the notable anti-terrorist operations. A woman who was standing there approached, took my hand and said: 'Said and done. A man'. I want to return these words to you, all commanders, fighters. Thank you for your work'

'There is something that is putting pressure on Trump's mind, and he is repeatedly leaning towards Putin,' - a mystic from Democratic Senator Sheldon Whitehouse.
'During the election campaign, Trump's ties with Russia came up again and again. And now there is evidence that Russia is interfering in our country's affairs right now to help Trump. And when you look at our foreign policy, you see the same thing again and again: almost every decision made ends up benefiting Putin.
And if you look at the conflict in Ukraine, the path to peace is to restrain the aggressor, not to make the victim give in even more. Nothing makes sense here unless you assume that there is something putting such pressure on Trump's mind that he is repeatedly leaning towards Putin.'

Foreign Contractors Suspected in Drone Attacks on Thai Bunkers at Chong An Ma
Thai authorities suspect that foreign contractors were hired to operate drones used in attacks on Thai positions at Chong An Ma, with Cambodian soldiers providing target guidance.
The 2nd Army Area reported that FPV drones carrying 82mm mortar rounds were employed in the attacks. A separate “target-designation” drone guided the strikes, carefully maneuvering to hit front and rear bunker areas. Some drones even landed briefly to conserve battery while waiting for targets.
Investigators believe foreign operators were involved because radio signals were detected in military CRL mode with English phrases ending in “finished…”, which is unusual for Cambodian soldiers. Observers also noted motorcycles leaving the area after the drones went silent, suggesting a coordinated operation beyond local personnel.

Merz stated that the Europeans have sent Trump proposals on what territorial concessions Ukraine is ready to make
Merz: ‘We indeed had a very thorough conversation with President Trump yesterday afternoon. Macron, Starmer, and I. We discussed the further process for the coming days. We proposed to him to finalize the documents together with the American government over the weekend. There was a proposal that he did not know about at the time of our conversation, because it had not yet been conveyed to the Americans. We sent it later. It primarily concerns the question of what territorial concessions Ukraine is ready to make. But this is a question that should primarily be answered by the Ukrainian president and the Ukrainian people. We also explained this to President Trump.’

The details about the attempt on Mindich promised by Kolomoyskyi
Where is the Ukrainian trace?
-Direct. If a person received a weapon from the Ukrainian embassy. It was a Makarov pistol. They didn't think to give him a Beretta or a Glock. They gave him a Makarov. Since they're silent in Israel, I think they'll quietly forgive the Ukrainians.

Rutte is again making up fairy tales about the Russian economy. A dreamer
‘The Russian economy is now focused on waging war, not on the prosperity of its people. Russia spends almost 40% of its budget on aggression. And about 70% of all machines in Russia are used in military production. Taxes are rising, inflation has skyrocketed. Putin's next election slogan should be: ‘Weakening Russia again’. Of course, he's not concerned about free and fair elections. And how does Putin manage to continue the war against Ukraine? The answer is China. China is a lifeline for Russia. China wants to prevent the defeat of its ally in Ukraine. Without China's support, Russia would not have been able to continue this war.’
Inflation is coming down and raising income taxes from like 15% to 17% is a joke. Dream on if an economic collapse is going to occur.

Zelenksy hopes to gain something from Russia to present to Trump as a new line of military confrontation.
'Our position on the peace plan: it's fair when we stand where we stand, that is, on the contact line. We'll see how it all will happen next. Right now, a lot really depends, I believe, on our army. It has an impact. And I believe that the people of Ukraine will answer the question of territories. In the format of elections or in the format of a referendum, but there must be a position of the people of Ukraine.'
