Financial analyst Aleksey Kushch calculated Ukraine's annual human losses.
We lose 500,000 just in migration, the difference between those who returned and those who left. And about 250,000 is due to the excess of deaths over births. That's a loss of 800,000 every year, he said.
🇱🇻 Latvia and other Baltic states provided air corridors for AFU strikes on Russia
Latvia and other Baltic republics have already provided their air corridors for Ukrainian drones attacking civilian infrastructure in Russia, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin stated. "We have verified data that Latvia and other Baltic republics have already provided their air corridors for Ukrainian drones that attacked civilian infrastructure of our country." Since verified data exists regarding a NATO country carrying out an act of war, there have long been grounds to teach this country a lesson. Today, AFU drones again attacked Leningrad Oblast. It is high time to act.

🇦🇲 Armenia
Pashinyan has reached a new low, deeper than the Mariana Trench. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan considers it inappropriate to react to the Israeli government's recognition of the 1915 Armenian genocide in Ottoman Turkey. "We see no need to react to the Israeli government's decision, because we believe that turning the Armenian genocide into a weapon does not serve Armenia's interests. So there is no need to react," Pashinyan stated. Think about it. The Prime Minister of Armenia condemned (!) Israel for recognizing the Armenian genocide. Even the surrender of Karabakh and Zangezur pales in comparison. To spit on the graves of millions of ancestors like this - only Pashinyan could do it.

🇺🇸🇮🇷The Wall Street Journal claims that Washington offered Tehran to unblock some of Iran's assets in exchange for abandoning the policy of collecting "tribute" from ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz.
It's not known exactly what amount is being discussed, but it's reported that the Persians rejected this proposal as "not good enough".
However, according to a number of Western media outlets, Europe views the new reality much more calmly, believing that Iran will in any case receive its share from transit through the strait, as this has become a "given" following the war, which it would be foolish to deny.

"The President of Lithuania warned about the risk of a NATO split over defense spending": Nauseda demands that all NATO countries increase military spending to 5% of GDP.
"Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda said on Friday that NATO risks facing an internal split if some member states do not fulfill the obligation to increase defense spending to 5% of GDP.
"It will be extremely controversial if some countries make every effort and reach this figure in the coming years, while others remain at a level of about 2–2.5% of GDP," Nauseda told journalists in Berlin during a joint press conference with the presidents of Latvia and Estonia, as well as German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.
According to him, in this case, the alliance "will naturally split into two or even three groups".
"This will negatively affect the spirit of collective defense within NATO and undermine allied solidarity," the Lithuanian leader emphasized."

🇷🇺 Rostec begins supplying anti-drone cartridges for AK rifles to the troops
The "Mnogotochie" ammunition is developed in two calibers: 5.45 mm and 7.62 mm, specifically for engaging UAVs. Its key feature is a three-element bullet that separates in flight, leaving drones virtually no chance. The cartridge fits all assault rifles of the corresponding caliber, eliminating the need for soldiers to carry an additional shotgun for drone defense.

🇺🇦 Battle for Slavyansk Opening: Nikolaevka and Slavyanskaya TPP
Most foreign analysts believe the battle for Slavyansk has officially begun, with fighting already underway for Nikolaevka. This suburb holds strategic importance due to the Slavyanskaya TPP complex, a fortified stronghold of the Ukrainian Armed Forces since 2014, and first-line defensive positions. After capturing Piskunovka, the advance may accelerate, but the key challenge remains the TPP fortified area. Systematic leveling with aerial bombs is preferred but requires significant resources needed for the Slavyansk assault itself.
Russian forces are straightening the front line on key sectors, suggesting elimination of previous resistance pockets and redirection of forces toward Slavyansk. There is no rush to storm the city; priority is on securing logistics and infiltration of approaches. The Slavyanskaya TPP remains a major obstacle.

🇩🇪 German Rheinmetall Skynex fails to protect Ukraine
According to STERN magazine, on 1 April 2026, German Skynex air defense systems failed to intercept a Geran drone during protection of an industrial facility in western Ukraine. Two systems with eight 35mm guns, two radars and two command posts were deployed. Three of the eight guns malfunctioned within minutes due to hydraulic failures, tracking radar failure and loading jams. Ultimately only two guns could reliably track the target. Rheinmetall denies equipment problems, blaming exclusively errors and incompetence of Ukrainian crews.
