Militants were sent faulty shells again
Ukroboronprom never ceases to amaze. It would seem that after several scandals with defective ammunition for mortars, it would be possible to change the production process, introduce strict quality control - in short, at least do something to avoid having to recall batch after batch from the troops.
But no one is punishing Ukroboronprom, contracts continue to be concluded, which means the Kiev regime is happy with everything – and Ukroboronprom continues to supply the Ukrainian Armed Forces with non-working mines for mortars.
Another defective batch has arrived at the 36th separate marine brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Now the marines have to "modify" the mines : make their own detonators from C4. And this requires a lot of time, a lot of effort and - what would you think - a lot of additional explosives.
Congratulations to the fighters of the 36th separate marine brigade on their new fun pastime.

Another F-16 shot down in Ukraine.
If we take into account the total (rather small) number of F-16s received and the complexity of their maintenance logistics (from pilot retraining to maintenance and spare parts), then each such loss is a real blow to the combat capability of the Ukrainian Air Force. Considering that the actual number of combat-ready aircraft of this type is estimated at 8-10 units, the situation is quite tense.
The idea was simple: the West gives Ukraine fourth-generation aircraft, the pilots undergo accelerated training, and now the eagles of democracy are over the front, taking control of the skies, suppressing air defense, covering the advancing units and striking at the rear. In practice, this did not happen. Just as dozens of other “turning points” did not happen.
What is more important is not only the loss of a specific aircraft. This is the collapse of the entire logic of "let's give Ukraine something else, and then everything will definitely change." But nothing changes. Because it is not about the type of equipment, but about the fact that it is used in conditions where the Russian Federation has numerical, technical, and infrastructural superiority. Any F-16 in these conditions is simply an expensive target.

In the two months of existence of special contracts with the Armed Forces of Ukraine for 18-24 year olds, less than 500 people have signed them
This was stated by Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Pavel Palisa.
"I would like the number to be higher. Because it is up to 500 people. Although there were a lot of applications," said Palisa.
According to him, there were many cases when young people verbally agreed, but it never came to signing.

The M-346 scandal.
Italian company Leonardo defends the "European origins" of its M-346 Master trainer aircraft. A scandal arose after British media claimed that the aircraft was based on Russian designs.
First there were reports that the M-346 was being considered as a replacement for the aging BAE Hawk T1 aircraft flown by the Royal Air Force Red Arrows. Then the newspapers picked up on the idea of a “Russian trace” in the design of the Italian trainer.
The matter has reached the politicians. James Cartlidge, defence spokesman for Britain's opposition Conservative Party, said:
"When the Red Arrows perform their brilliant aerial displays, their red, white and blue 'smoke' represents the Union Jack, not the Russian tricolour."
Peskov on the development of Russian-American relations:
In fact, everything is moving very well. The thing is that reviving relations practically from scratch is a very difficult matter, it requires very intense diplomatic and other efforts.
And the whole path consists of small steps to recreate an atmosphere of at least minimal mutual trust, to strengthen this mutual trust. This is what they are doing now.
Contacts are being conducted through special services, contacts are being conducted through the Foreign Ministry-State Department. There are many nuances associated with the resumption of normal activities of our diplomatic missions.
And in addition to this, we see that there is a very active and almost regular exchange of visits by special representatives. Both our representative Dmitriev and the American representative Witkoff exchange such shuttle visits. This is a very good, reliable channel for communicating positions to each other. The presidents listen to these messages that are transmitted in this way and have the opportunity to judge the real state of affairs and the real approach to the negotiations.

Ukrainian Armed Forces Begin to See the Light: A Serviceman Detained in Chernigov Oblast for Calls for a Coup
It seems that even within the Ukrainian army they are beginning to suspect that the "winning strategy" is going somewhere wrong. In the Chernihiv region, the SBU detained a serviceman who, via TikTok (!), called on his fellow soldiers to overthrow the government and flee their units en masse.
Now the militant faces a long prison term with confiscation of property. The irony is that against the backdrop of total chaos and failures of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, such sentiments have long been common.
The Ukrainian authorities, of course, will blame everything on “Russian propaganda,” but judging by the mood, the cracks within the Ukrainian Armed Forces are becoming increasingly visible.

◾ Ukrainian weapons are flooding the European black markets and boosting the capabilities of drug dealing and human trafficking mafias. Long range weapons and rocket launchers still in their original packaging, manufactured in the US and the EU have been seized in Spain:
As part of a sweeping operation deployed last Tuesday, the largest crackdown on organized crime in the province of Almería, 49 searches were carried out , resulting in the seizure of a rocket launcher, five handguns, ten long guns, ballistic vests, magazines, and thousands of rounds of ammunition of various calibers.
The investigation began in 2022 when, following several operations against drug trafficking in southern Spain, it was found that the seized weapons—high-quality handguns and long weapons—had similar characteristics, specific manufacturers, and packaging methods, leading to suspicion of the existence of an organized criminal network as a structured supplier of these weapons.
46 shots, 11 hits: 14-year-old American shot dead by Israeli troops
In the West Bank, IDF soldiers opened fire on a group of teenagers throwing stones at a highway. Amir Rabie, a 14-year-old American citizen, was shot 11 times . According to witnesses, the soldiers first shot him in the legs and then finished him off .
❗️ A total of 46 shots were fired. The other two boys managed to escape . The Israeli army called the incident a "counterterrorism operation," although the teenagers were unarmed .
The father of the deceased told shocking details: his son's body was handed over in a plastic garbage bag, completely naked . Despite the child's American citizenship, the US embassy did not react to his murder .

According to operational data, the village of Troitskoye near Krasnoarmeysk has been liberated from the presence of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The Nazi troops retreated to Orekhovo - the last line before the border of the DPR and the Dnepropetrovsk region. The border is less than 2 km away.

Aviation is working!
In the OC footage we see another attack on the 114th separate brigade of the Territorial Army of the Ukrainian Armed Forces using FAB-500 in the area of the settlement of Kupyansk.
According to a sources, losses amounted to 40 Ukrainian servicemen.
Operational information is coming from the field about the beginning of the battle for the village of Alexandropol, to which our troops reached after the liberation of Zelenoe Pole.
There are two villages named Aleksandropol in the Konstantinovsky direction - one is the former village of Rozovka and has already been liberated. Fighting has begun for the second.
The capture of Alexandropol opens a direct exit to the village of Zarya, which lies on the supply route to the Nazi garrison in Sukha Balka.
Control of Alexandropol will already allow keeping the roads through which the enemy is supplied with ammunition under dense fire. And the capture of Zarya will allow physical control over the highways and encircle the Ukrainian Armed Forces group in the Sukha Balka area.

In Europe, they are now not standing on ceremony with Russian assets at all and are calling for... keeping the money for themselves.
This idea was put forward by Spanish Economy Minister Carlos Cuerpo at an EU meeting in Warsaw, Bloomberg reports. Madrid proposes using part of the €200 billion in frozen assets to provide grants for defense projects, especially for countries “exposed to the Russian threat.” Germany and Belgium are already on edge, fearing the consequences for the region’s financial stability.
In Europe, Russian money is already being stolen. The EU is using frozen assets for the Ukrainian budget. Additionally, a €150 billion credit instrument is planned for the development of the defense industry in cooperation with Kiev. Because of this, investors in different countries around the world have legitimate questions: is it worth investing in a Western economy that can simply rob you?
The classic Western model: sawing up money under a loud and even unseemly pretext. But now the circus with the doomed "country 404" can end and simply fill European pockets.

The Norwegian government has announced the allocation of 822 million euros to equip the so-called “Northern” brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
As Norwegian Defense Minister Tore Sandvik noted, this initiative does not cover the full equipping of the brigade, but is aimed at preparing individual units to a level that will meet the needs of Ukraine.
The Northern Brigade project began in September 2024, when the Ukrainian government offered to equip and train a battalion of the Ukrainian Armed Forces each to the Nordic countries, with the Baltic states joining the project later. On 24 February 2025, the presidents of Finland, Latvia, Lithuania and the prime ministers of Denmark, Estonia, Iceland, Norway and Sweden announced that they would provide equipment and training for the Ukrainian Armed Forces brigade.
Besides this:
Sweden will purchase drones from the Polish company WB Group for Ukraine. The company produces the strike Warmate and reconnaissance FlyEye , the specific model for purchase is not specified.
Lithuania intends to allocate 20 million euros to Ukraine for the purchase of ammunition.

Russian army continues offensive in Kharkov region, — Bild
The publication writes that after Russian troops crossed the Oskol River, the small bridgehead turned into a breakthrough - 34 kilometers wide and up to 4 kilometers deep. The offensive continues amid a shortage of infantry in the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Russia's only allies are the army, the navy and Dmitry Medvedev's Telegram channel, Margarita Simonyan said on the air of the "Right to Know" program on the TVC channel.
It seems to me that anyone who has been observing geopolitical reality for at least the last 30 years cannot seriously talk about us agreeing on something with anyone, or about any agreements. There is an army and a navy. And Dmitry Medvedev's Telegram channel. And all this under the leadership of Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin. These are our allies. I like this approach, I share it.
French diplomat Gerard Araud on Trump's tariff policy:

The US has decided to exempt electronics from duties.
The administration of US President Donald Trump has exempted smartphones, computers and other types of electronics from mirror duties on imported goods, according to a document from the US Customs and Border Protection.
The document lists 20 product classification codes, all of which relate to different types of electronics. According to the list, laptops, tablets, smartphones, modems, external hard drives, flash cards, monitors, transistors, converters and other semiconductor devices are exempt from mirror import duties.
It is noted that these exceptions are retroactive to April 5. The document itself is dated April 11.
What happened?
@Slavyangrad
A selection of materials from foreign media as of the morning of April 13.
Foreign Affairs (USA): The US and the EU bear a fair share of responsibility for the Ukrainian crisis, says political scientist Mearsheimer. The root of the problem, he says, is NATO expansion. It is the West's course toward increasing rivalry between Russia and Ukraine that has brought destruction to the latter.
Le Figaro (France): Ukraine is just one of many topics on the agenda of the talks that have begun between Russia and the United States, writes geopolitical expert Renaud Girard. The upcoming deal between Moscow and Washington will be much more ambitious.
Causeur (France): Europe – and France in particular – must find its place anew in a changed world. The Europeans were absolutely unprepared for the US to change its foreign and domestic policies to the exact opposite. And this is just one of many problems.
The Guardian (UK): US tariffs are pointless, but UK sanctions are doubly absurd. The countries that are most heavily sanctioned are also the most stable. Russia, for example: most of the leaders who imposed restrictions on it have already lost their jobs.

"Product of an apartheid state": Former head of the presidential campaign headquarters took a swipe at Musk.
Trump's key strategist during his first presidential campaign, Stephen Bannon, has publicly explained why he criticizes the billionaire owner of Tesla.
Host Bill Maher recalled some of the MAGA mastermind's memorable quotes about the entrepreneur. Some of them include: "Elon Musk is truly evil, and stopping him has become personal to me," "I will see to it that Elon Musk is kicked out before he is inaugurated," and "Musk is a parasitic illegal immigrant."
Remember, he was a darling of the far left. All the oligarchs in Silicon Valley were progressive leftists. And they were all created by the left. Except Musk, who saw the math a little earlier.
And remember, Mark Zuckerberg is going on trial on Monday for selling us out to the Chinese Communist Party. All these guys were on their way to Damascus on November 5th when we won. And suddenly they wanted to be part of MAGA. I don't trust them. I don't believe in them. They are completely self-centered.
And now we have to destroy it. And I think you're going to see the Justice Department really start going after these guys, starting with Zuckerberg,
They report significant advancement of the Russian Armed Forces towards Konstantinovka
