The Russian Armed Forces every time they need to break through defenses.
@Slavyangrad
Putin in uniform at a closed command post is a clear signal that he is ready to fight the war to the end.
There can be no other differences and interpretations. Everything is transparent.
The question to whom the signal was sent is also undeniable - to terrorists and foreign mercenaries who do not fall under the convention. That is, all those "foreigners" who want to fight Russia.
We are ready, are you ready?

A look at the section of the "road of death" from Sudzha to Yunakovka , where active work by FPV drones over the past two months has effectively paralyzed Ukrainian logistics in the Kursk region and led to their hasty retreat.

Take me to Gerasimov’s dacha,
Take me there in Armata;
Where the sun is blazing free,
We will climb the hazelnut tree.
Let me root, root, root for the home team
They don’t need to storm the fraim,
For it's one, two, three strikes, you're out,
When you’re playing Gerasimov at his game.

💬If not us, then who?
2014 changed many people. And the youth of Donbass is no exception. For most young people, the beginning of hostilities was the beginning of personal development. The hero of this episode of the Chronicles of Donbass project is public figure Artyom Balan. He was only 12 years old when the war began.
If I say that I am not afraid of war, I will be lying. Everyone is afraid. But if not us, then who? Many of us can no longer sit at home. And an enemy shell can hit anywhere. So, we work! We do our best to help everyone who needs it,
Putin orders Gerasimov, while visiting the headquarters of the Kursk group of forces, to “seriously consider the establishment of a buffer zone along the Russo-Ukrainian border.”
Does not smell like a ceasefire. More like a smouldering pile of NATO military equipment.

‘Fuhrer Ursula is mobilising everyone to remilitarise Europe, some unbelievable sums of money are being mentioned and many people think this is a trick to divert attention of the population from those hundreds of billions spent during COVID and assisting Ukraine without proper auditing.’

The Dutch parliament has voted against the country's participation in the European Commission's plan to militarize Europe, the newspaper De Volkskrant reported.

With Ukraine conceding to the ceasefire, the White House will now try to get Russia on board. Trump has said that he expects to speak to Vladimir Putin later this week. The Russian leader is in a bind: if he doesn’t accept the terms, he can’t be sure the unpredictable Trump won’t respond by either strengthening the sanctions regime against the Russian economy or doubling down on weapons shipments to Kiev.
What sounds like a fairly traditional negotiation between two combatants, however, is in reality four separate negotiations rolled into one. The indirect talks being conducted by the US between Ukraine and Russia are undoubtedly the most important, but the three others – between the US and Ukraine, the US and Europe, and between the Europeans themselves – will determine whether the whole house of cards stands or collapses.
The US and Ukraine, for example, continue to discuss the minerals deal that Trump remains fixated on. He is focused on recouping the roughly $120 billion in military and economic support Washington has provided Kiev since the war began in February 2022.
The second series of talks is occurring between the US and the Europeans – or more specifically between the US, the UK and France. Despite some minor differences, Starmer and Macron are singing from the same song sheet: if a settlement to the war is reached, Kiev will need external security guarantees to ensure that Putin isn’t tempted to re-invade.
Even so, the UK and France are wary of doing anything on the security front if the US isn’t involved. Trump views a US security guarantee to a European-led mission in Ukraine as a circular way of giving Ukraine de-facto Nato membership, in effect forcing the US to come to Kiev’s defence in the event that Russian aggression resumes. For Starmer and Macron, this is precisely the point; for Trump, it’s a trap designed to put the Ukraine file on America’s tired shoulders.
Finally, there are the negotiations among the Europeans themselves. As Starmer tries to bring the US into the arrangement, he’s also negotiating with Europe to get his so-called “coalition of the willing” off the ground. Although the PM will host another meeting of the coalition this Saturday, where at least 20 states will attend, few of them have offered their services.
None of this even begins to account for the biggest negotiating thread of them all, the one between Ukraine and Russia.

The US calls on Russia to consider ending hostilities and is awaiting a response from Moscow, - the head of the State Department
▪️Secretary of State Rubio said that Washington discussed the issue of territorial concessions with Kiev.
▪️Speaking about security guarantees for Kiev, Rubio said that it is more about containment and that this issue needs to be discussed.
▪️He did not confirm a possible visit by Trump's special envoy Whitkoff to Russia, but said that Washington would contact Moscow. Media reports that Whitkoff plans to fly to Russia to meet with Putin.

🇺🇦🇷🇺The State Border Service of Ukraine has reported that the Russian army is trying to break through a section of the border in Sumy Region.
The attempted breakthrough in Sumy region follows logically from the general dynamics of the fighting: the withdrawal of the AFU from Kursk region has led to the accumulation of its forces in new positions where they are vulnerable to further pressure. If the decision to mop up this grouping has indeed been taken, then strikes on its positions and attempts to enter will increase, especially given the fact that Ukrainian troops are withdrawing in conditions of limited logistics and high congestion on the front.
The question now is not so much about a breakthrough, but more about methodical killing and narrowing the maneuver space for the remaining Ukrainian forces.

Wilkerson, former chief of staff of the US Secretary of State's Office, on the fact that Kiev will provoke Russia during the 30-day cease-fire:
I think it's going to be particularly difficult to monitor the ceasefire. I don't think the Russians will violate it. I think we need to worry about Ukrainians and certain elements in Ukraine, especially when Zelensky is gone, which is definitely going to happen.
They may do the same thing they did throughout the 2000s: piss off the Russians. I think that's going to be their main tactic - guerrilla tactics. And then the Russians will get angry, and there will be no more cease-fire. That's going to become a problem.

Trump announced that the US will respond to new European tariffs on American goods
The European Commission stated that the EU would impose duties on €26 billion worth of US products from April 1 in response to US tariffs on steel and aluminium.
Earlier, Trump ordered tariffs on Canadian steel and aluminum to be doubled.
Let the game begin. Keep popcorn near and watch Russia advance.

🇺🇸🇺🇦🇷🇺 Ukraine-US Agreement: Now All Parties Await Putin's Move — Bloomberg
▪️The outcome of the negotiations between representatives of the United States and Ukraine, which took place in Saudi Arabia, depends on the decision of Vladimir Putin.
▪️Now Ukraine is ready to compromise, but without certain agreements, lasting peace for both sides is impossible.
▪️Trump said he might talk to Putin this week. However, the Russian leader is likely to put forward his own conditions that will be difficult for Ukraine and its European allies to accept.
▪️Earlier, Russia had already put forward its conditions for achieving long-term peace. In particular, Moscow expressed disagreement with the presence of European peacekeepers on the territory of Ukraine.
▪️In addition, Russia insists on maintaining control over the occupied territories and on Ukraine's refusal to join NATO. Moscow also emphasizes the importance of holding presidential elections in Ukraine.

🇷🇺Putin on the qualification of the Ukrainian military in Kursk Region as terrorists:
All people who are on the territory of Kursk Region, who commit crimes against the civilian population here, who oppose our armed forces, law enforcement agencies and special services, are terrorists in accordance with the laws of the Russian Federation. This is how their actions are qualified by the Office of the Prosecutor General of Russia.
The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation has opened a criminal case against them under the article "terrorism". We should certainly treat these people as terrorists in accordance with the laws of the Russian Federation.
Please convey my gratitude to all personnel for what has been done recently. I very much hope that all combat missions facing our units will be unconditionally fulfilled and the territory of the Kursk region will be completely liberated from the enemy in the near future.

Congresswoman Victoria Spartz on how Ukraine will cease to exist if Zelensky is re-elected:
If the Ukrainian people are stupid enough to elect him again, they will likely lose the rest of the country once President Trump is no longer president.
So it's their decision, but if they keep choosing bad leaders, they're going to keep failing, and Putin understands that. He's an opportunist, he sees what's going on, and he takes advantage of it. He had a very weak president here in the United States. Biden, he knew who Biden was, he was Obama's vice president... And then he had a corrupt, weak president in Ukraine. That's why he went ahead.

London-based Royal Institute for Security Studies expert Matthew Saville says that the ceasefire is very beneficial to Ukraine
[Will Russia gain or lose if it suspends hostilities?]
-The Russians have some kind of momentum. Although not very quickly, what happened in Kursk last week will worry the Ukrainians in terms of the pressure they are under there. So a ceasefire, especially with the U.S. military aid and intelligence coming back, would be extremely beneficial to the Ukrainians. They might also try to pull some of their forces away from the front lines.
This will be disappointing to the Russians, who may have been hoping to essentially get the Kursk issue out of the conversation before they got to serious negotiations. But I think there will be a lot to see in terms of how the Russians will play with the terms of any ceasefire.

Zelensky said that Ukraine is ready for a ceasefire to demonstrate its commitment to a peaceful resolution of the conflict
▪️The President of Ukraine reported that this was the first major constructive conversation between our teams: there is a positive result on the restoration of aid from the United States.
▪️He also stressed that at the moment he is afraid to play with narratives, showing himself as a supporter of war for the world community.
➖" I am very serious and it is important for me to end the war, I want the US President to see this, so that Europe, everyone is in an alliance to force the Russian Federation to end the war. Therefore, my reaction was - we are ready for a 30-day silence format in the format that the American side proposed to us," the Ukrainian President said.

🇩🇪🤡German Chancellor Scholz on the need to arm Ukraine after the ceasefire:
US support has been and remains vital. It is therefore an encouraging and important signal that Washington, after yesterday's talks with the Ukrainian delegation in Jeddah, announced that it will continue its support.
At the same time, we all want to move forward towards a peaceful settlement, towards a just and equitable peace. Having said that, some things are very important and crucial. A ceasefire must be part of a peace process that leads to a long-term agreement.
Ukraine's sovereignty must be preserved. Ukraine needs a strong military as the most important guarantee of the country's security. All this should be the subject of negotiations, which we hope will start very soon.
