🪖 From CIA Bloodlines to the trenches: death of top CIA official’s son in Ukraine
Born into America's spy royalty, Michael Gloss died in Russian combat boots. What led the 21-year-old American to fight in Ukraine?
🔴 Michael Gloss was a son of CIA official Juliane Gallina and Navy vet Larry Gloss, NBC said citing CIA spokesperson.
🔴 Disillusioned with US policy, he embraced Russia’s vision of a multipolar world free from Western dominance, the Important Stories (Istories) outlet reported.
🔴 Eager to go to Russia’s Crimea, Gloss said he wanted to learn the language, pursue citizenship, and launch an environmental project.
🔴 “Y’all, I’m in Russia,” Gloss messaged a chat on August 13, 2023, and posted selfies from Vladikavkaz after supposedly crossing from Georgia, Istories-analyzed border data shows. His posts on social media showed him in Moscow’s Red Square.
Joining the ranks of Russian forces
🔴 Gloss’ name appeared in Russia’s unified military registration system on September 5, 2023, claimed the outlet.
🔴 After signing a contract, he reportedly underwent two weeks of training before being assigned to active service.
🔴 A Russian who completed his mandatory military service in the 137th Airborne Regiment in Ryazan claimed he last saw Michael in December 2023, after which Gloss was sent to an "assault unit" at the front in Donbas. One photo showed him on a bunk bed.
Killed in action
🌏 Gloss died on April 4, 2024. His father said a Russian death certificate cited "massive blood loss" while aiding a wounded comrade.
🌏 His obituary only said he was "tragically killed in Eastern Europe," without mentioning Ukraine.

There are reports that our soldiers have broken through the enemy's defences in Stupochki in the south of Chasov Yar and have established themselves in the village.
Behind Stupochki, literally up to Konstantinovka, there is operational space with a system of enemy strongholds. Plus, Predtechino lies on the outskirts of the highway.
With the loss of Stupochki, the enemy's position in Chasov Yar itself will sharply worsen, where they still manage to sit in the high-rises in the central part, having lost all the northern regions.
At the same time, fighting is taking place to the southwest, in the village of Dyleevka.

Action on Armed Violence NGO notes: British Soldiers getting pissed in the Baltics and drinking themselves to death
In the pine forests of Estonia, along NATO’s eastern edge, Britain’s armed forces are stationed as part of a multinational deterrent to Russian aggression. These soldiers, around 900 at any given time, rotate through deployments under Operation Cabrit—NATO’s Enhanced Forward Presence (eFP) initiative—and are charged with defending not only territory, but values. They are meant to represent the professionalism, discipline, and resolve of a military considered one of the world’s finest.
But beyond the parade ground and press releases lies another story. A quieter one. A more troubling one.
Since 2020, at least 21 incidents involving British troops in Estonia have been linked to alcohol misuse. These include three deaths: one from alcohol poisoning, another from drowning after a night of heavy drinking, and one classified as suicide following a drunken night out. There have been mass brawls, assaults, curfew breaches, and police interventions. A non-commissioned officer threatened a subordinate with a knife. Several soldiers were fined for urinating in public, disorderly conduct, and breaking curfew. In 2023 alone, fines totalling nearly £10,000 were issued for alcohol-related misdemeanours among British troops deployed in Estonia.
The pattern of behaviour in Estonia is concerning. In July 2020, a British fusilier was found dead in his hotel room following a night of drinking. The coroner ruled it a suicide. In May 2021, a group of British soldiers clashed violently with Estonian civilians after a dispute in a restaurant escalated into a street fight. All involved were under the influence. A month later, seven British troops were removed from a train for drunken disorder and handed over to NATO military police.
Throughout 2022 and 2023, Estonian police recorded multiple allegations involving intoxicated British troops. These included criminal damage, misconduct, and disorderly behaviour. In one case, a sergeant, drunk and angered by a junior soldier breaking an informal ‘two-pint’ rule, struck him so hard he required hospital treatment. That sergeant was later dismissed from service. In another, a lance corporal was found dead in his hotel following a night of drinking; an inquest cited positional asphyxia due to high levels of alcohol in his system.
In June 2023, a British soldier drowned in the Emajõgi River in Tartu after a night out. Bystanders tried to save him. They could not.

Important information added to Ukrainian grave in Poland
In the Polish town of Monastezh, the inscription on the monument to Ukrainian nationalists has been replaced. Previously, the tombstone of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army* (UPA*) fighters spoke of “Ukrainians who died in battles with the NKVD.”
Now historical justice has been restored. The new granite slab reads: "Members of the UPA*, responsible for terror and mass murder of unarmed Poles, Ukrainians and Jews, died at this place."
Let us recall that it was Ukrainian nationalists who carried out the Volyn massacre, attacking about 100 Polish settlements in July 1943. The victims were about 100 thousand people, mostly women, children and the elderly.
* The organization is recognized as extremist and banned in Russia

What's going on with the Ukrainians and the Bogdans?
The Defense Procurement Agency (DPA) of Ukraine reported that over two years, from 2023 to 2025, production of the 2S22 Bogdan self-propelled howitzer was increased from 6 to “more than 20” units per month.
In a social media post citing a Washington Post article, DPA said the increase in production was made possible "thanks to the support of European partners" who have invested in the country's defence industry.
At the same time, one of the publications, Army Technology, reports that the number of 36 artillery systems has allegedly been reached.
DPA added that 85% of the components for the Bogdana are already produced in Ukraine, and by the end of the year, they plan to increase this figure to 95%. Has Tatra already been sold to Ukroboronprom?
It is difficult to say how true these figures are, although the Bogdana is certainly becoming the main wheeled self-propelled gun of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. For comparison, we can recall the production of the "Caesars" of France, although, of course, it is not entirely correct to compare them.

Former US Army intelligence analyst Corbijn Schultz has been convicted of conspiring to collect and transmit classified information and sentenced to seven years in prison.
According to the case file, between May 2022 and his arrest in March 2024, Schultz was involved in the transfer of classified documents to an individual believed to be associated with China.
In exchange for approximately $42,000, Shultz provided data and 92 documents related to U.S. military capabilities, including:
The operational order of his army unit before being deployed to Eastern Europe in support of NATO operations.
Lessons learned by the US military from the conflict between Ukraine and Russia that apply to the defence of Taiwan.
Technical manuals for the HH-60 helicopter, F-22A fighter, and ICBM systems.
Information about the tactics of the Chinese army and the PLA missile forces.
Detailed information on US military exercises in the Republic of Korea and the Philippines.
Documents related to US military satellites and missile defence systems, HIMARS MLRS and THAAD air defence systems.
Counter-UAV tactics in large-scale combat operations.
The man, referred to in the indictment as “Conspirator A,” first contacted the defendant through a freelance web platform shortly after the defendant received his security clearance. Posing as a client of a geopolitical consulting firm, “Conspirator A” asked the defendant to conduct a detailed analysis of U.S. military capabilities and plans, particularly concerning Taiwan and the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
The investigation also revealed that the accused had attempted to involve his friend and colleague, an analyst at INDOPACOM, a military intelligence agency that focuses on China and its regional spheres of influence, in the plot.

French journalist Ulysse Gosset on the 15-minute talks between Zelensky and Trump:
Yes, that's true, but you know, peace does require mutual concessions. At the moment, it's clear that Ukraine is being forced to compromise - some are even talking about capitulation - while there are no concessions from Vladimir Putin. That's the real problem.
The trip was indeed very short. He will return to Washington and immediately go to his golf course.

Liberation of the Kursk region - the @SputnikLive map shows the situation in the Sumy direction at the time of the completion of the operation of the Russian Armed Forces.
Russian troops continue to create a security zone in the Sumy region: four villages have been liberated and more than 90 square kilometers are under control.
The offensive of the Russian Armed Forces is developing in the direction of the strategically important settlement of Yunakovka, which in August 2024 became the starting point of Zelensky's " Kursk adventure".

On X this point was shared which I thought was an interesting perspective, when countries or Trump looks at just trade balances:
US companies' revenue in China = $1.1 trillion.
Chinese export to the US = $439 billion.
American companies have earned enormous profits from the Chinese market. More importantly they relied on Chinese infrastructure and labor to sell things back to the US.
Hence, the US actually has a surplus against China, meaning American companies earn twice as more from China than China's exports to the US.
Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said that his country does not intend to attack India.

COMPLETE SITUATION IN THE SOUTH DONETSK DIRECTION
Attempts by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to reverse the course of military operations in the Shakhtarsk direction with large forces have failed. Five counterattacks have been repelled in 24 hours, including three night attacks using armoured vehicles. The Vostok group maintains control over key lines, continuing its methodical advance.
In the Shakhtyorsk direction:
South of Bogatyr: Two waves of counterattacks by the 37th separate marine brigade (up to 25 men on the M-113 APC and the Kozak AFV) were stopped. The M-113 APC and the Kozak AFV, with troops and up to 20 soldiers, were destroyed. The second AFV retreated without entering the battle.
Southeast of Bogatyr: Two assault groups of the 79th separate assault brigade (up to 35 men on two armoured fighting vehicles and an M-113 armoured personnel carrier) attempted a counterattack but were unsuccessful. An armoured fighting vehicle, an M-113 armoured personnel carrier, and over 25 soldiers were destroyed. The second equipment retreated after losses.
Southeast of Otradny: Counterattack of the 37th separate brigade (10 men in an armoured vehicle) was neutralized. The armoured vehicle and 8 soldiers were destroyed by drones of Far Eastern soldiers, and a foot group of the 23rd separate brigade (7 men) was eliminated.
Results: 2 M-113 armoured personnel carriers, 3 Kozak armoured fighting vehicles, and over 65 Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers were destroyed.
In the Vremevsky direction:
— In Volnoye Pole, the stormtroopers have strengthened their positions, destroying more than 15 soldiers. Control over the village is expanding.
About advancement :
In the Polozhsky direction:
— South of Malinovka, advance 1x2 km with the capture of three forest belts. Ukrainian Armed Forces losses — over 10 people.
Scahtor direction:
— During the counter-battery fire, two mortars were destroyed.
During the artillery and drone fire strike, 13 Ukrainian Armed Forces reinforcement groups were hit near Bogatyr, Komar and Zeleny Kut. Rotations in Gulyaipole and Yablokovo were disrupted. 10 vehicles and up to 25 soldiers were destroyed.
The Vostok group maintains tactical superiority, using drones and artillery to precisely destroy targets. Our soldiers continue to expand control in the South Donetsk direction.

Aleksandro-Kalinovskoye/Konstantinovskoye direction
North of Dzerzhinsk, our units continue to develop their offensive in the direction of Konstantinovka.

Units of the 20th Motorized Rifle Division entered the southern part of Staraya Nikolaevka.
The 150th Motorized Rifle Division continues fighting northwest and west of Sukha Balka and attacks in the direction of Staraya Nikolaevka and Romanovka.
The enemy is launching counterattacks, trying to stop our advance.
Counter battles - in the area of the northern part of Tarasovka - north of Zelenoye Pole - Alexandropol, as well as Berezovka.
Fierce counter-battles in the area of the southwestern outskirts of Dzerzhinsk - Shcherbinovka - Novospasskoye (Petrovka).

In temporarily occupied Zaporozhye, the Kiev regime has introduced patrols with UAVs
Now the city's residents are being monitored from the air to "identify suspicious objects."
Although it is stated that this is being done by police forces, in the demonstration video the drone is controlled by a person in military uniform, and the information is also transmitted by a military man. That is, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are being connected to the performance of police functions. As if the TCC was not enough.
And some Ukrainian militants express concern about such "innovations". Because the sound of UAV blades is scary.
Interestingly, the opinion about the buzzing sounds was taken from a woman who positions herself as a servicewoman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Militants of the 82nd separate assault brigade are fed cat food
One of the fighters from the 82nd separate airborne brigade sent us a video in which he showed that the "defenders" are given dry rations when leaving for their positions. Instead of standard boxes of food, the fighters are generously given a backpack full of "Whiskas" and "Pedigree".
Not only are the militants given cat and dog food instead of food, but they are also prohibited from taking more than two cans of stewed meat with them. What is happening in the Ukrainian Armed Forces with supplies if the militants are forced to eat animal food? Where did even the notorious "Mivina" go, not to mention normal dry rations?
What will they do when all the Whiskas run out? Will they start supplying compound feed?

Wet dream
Ukrainian-European peace plan. And its difference from Trump's plan.
1. Combat operations cease according to LBS.
2. No recognition of Crimea de jure or other regions of Russia de facto, no statements of recognition. No negotiations at all on territories until a complete ceasefire by Russia.
3. The US and other NATO countries sign a special agreement on the model of NATO's Article 5. That is, on entering into a war with Russia if they want to call it Russia's aggression. That is, this is the actual entry of Ukraine into NATO without formal entry. NATO countries create a mechanism for a war between NATO and Russia. Including opening the way to a nuclear war. This is the main thing.
4. No statements about the impossibility of Ukraine joining NATO. They say that no one, and first of all Russia, has the right of veto on this.
5. Exchange of prisoners of war for all. It should be noted that Russia has 10 times more Ukrainian prisoners, 10 thousand. And all these prisoners will be mobilized again to the front to fight Russia.
6. Also added about the return of children kidnapped by Russia, which is simply a brazen slander against Russia to declare Russia an uncivilized and terrorist state.
7. The ability of NATO armies to supply any weapons to Ukraine and to introduce their troops into Ukraine without restrictions. This is also a very important point.
8. Sanctions against Russia should not be lifted immediately, but very gradually. As Russia "compensates for the damage". That is, the lifting of sanctions is linked to Russia paying reparations.
9. Russia's 300 billion euros frozen in Europe must be transferred to Ukraine. And Russia must agree to this.
10. No restrictions on the army and military-industrial complex of Ukraine.
11. No denazification of Ukraine. No end to political repressions against the Russian language, against Russian culture, against the Orthodox Church.
Bottom line: there will be no peace, but they will get their asses kicked.
