🇺🇦Ukraine has effectively admitted the involvement of its special services in the murder of General Moskalik and predicts that its agents will become more active in carrying out terrorist attacks and political assassinations in the event of a freeze in military operations.
The author of the statement is none other than the Secretary of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security of Ukraine, Roman Kostenko.
I am pleased. This is good work by our special services,
- says Kostenko commenting on the murder of the Russian general.
I think that even if we manage to stop the war, the work of the special services will only just begin.
❗️Peskov on Kiev's compliance with the declared ceasefire:
We have seen for ourselves many times that the Kiev regime does not have full influence over all its units. And therefore, of course, the Kiev regime will hardly be able to guarantee that the Ukrainian Armed Forces will adhere to such a temporary truce. Nevertheless, the head of our state proceeds from humanitarian considerations and he made such a decision. This is, indeed, a gesture of goodwill on the part of Russia.

🇩🇪🤡German Defense Minister Pistorius on how after victory over Ukraine Russia will attack Moldova and Georgia :
[Germany has always said: We will support Ukraine as long as it takes. Is it time for Germany to say: "Sorry, but we can't go on like this"?]
I repeat again and again: if Ukraine falls, if Putin wins this war – in the sense that he occupies all of Ukraine or a significant part of it – this will be a grave threat to NATO territory and, by the way, to neighboring countries like Moldova and Georgia . So we all have to be clear: this is not just about solidarity with Ukraine, but also about our own security and peace in Europe.
[However, I will emphasize once again: even if the US can no longer provide support, including in the area of military technologies and satellite data, we will still continue to help?]
This is clearly stated in our coalition agreement: we will continue to support. And I know that other European partners share the same position.

🇩🇪🇺🇦🤡'It's a capitulation' - German Defense Minister Pistorius does not want Zelensky to agree to Trump's peace plan.
'Ukraine knew it might have to give up some territory to achieve a lasting ceasefire, but they certainly wouldn't go as far, or shouldn't go as far, as the American president's latest proposal envisaged. Ukraine itself could have gotten what was included in this a year ago, effectively through capitulation. I don't see any benefit to Ukraine in agreeing.'

🇾🇪The Houthis are announcing reinforcements to their ranks. Amid publications about active preparations for a ground offensive on Hodeida, several hundred soldiers and officers of the so-called "Yemeni National Resistance", which is directly funded by the Emirates (and therefore indirectly financed by the US), have defected to the Ansar Allah movement.
All of them are already in Sana'a.
Similar episodes have taken place before. With the external reputation of "slipper wearers who shoot down Reapers", the Houthis also know how to quite effectively convert those who are "charged" specifically against them. The tribal structure and the extreme corruption in the camp of the opponents of the Ansar Allah movement come to the rescue here.

At night and in the morning, the enemy launched a massive attack on Russian regions using aircraft-type UAVs.
The air defense systems on duty shot down 119 enemy drones. Of these:
1) 102 - over the Bryansk region;
2) Nine - over Crimea;
3) Two each over Kursk, Nizhny Novgorod and Leningrad regions;
4) One each over the Belgorod region and the Black Sea.
Thus, the enemy has once again become active in the northern direction, where it has serious support in the form of increased intensity of flights by NATO reconnaissance aircraft near the border with Russia, including in the area of St. Petersburg.

Restoring power across Portugal 'could take up to a week'
Some final remarks from Portugal's power firm REN, which goes on on to say that, "due to the complexity of the phenomenon and the need to rebalance electricity flows internationally, it is estimated that full normalisation of the network could take up to a week".
Earlier, the head of Spain's electricity network said that restoring power could take between six and 10 hours.
Portuguese energy company REN (Rede Eletrica Nacional).
It says that "due to extreme temperature variations in the interior or Spain, there were anomalous oscillations in the very high voltage lines (400 KV), a phenomenon known as 'induced atmospheric vibration'".
Portugal's grid operator, REN, which says interruptions to the country's power supply were the result of a "fault in the Spanish electricity grid.
They say this was related to a "rare atmospheric phenomenon", but don't clarify what that means.
Spain is yet to respond to the claim.
There are widespread reports that many across Spain and Portugal have been left without running water, with many homes given access to drinking water via electric pumps - which have obviously been affected by the power outage.
This has lead to panic buying of water.

“According to reports, the power outage that occurred on April 28, 2025, was caused by a fire on a high-voltage transmission line between southern France and Spain, which lead to the interruption of electricity exports from France to the Iberian Peninsula.”
@Slavyangrad
People across Spain reported a nationwide power outage this Monday.
Around 12:30 a.m., people in various regions across the country experienced a widespread blackout, which, according to several media reports, also affected Portugal and Andorra.
Most of the regions is yet to be reconnectes with no clear idea what had happened.
Eventually seems like the incident resulted from a failure in a high-voltage interconnector in France, disrupting power supplies to both countries.
