"The Right to Peaceful Development." Tehran has found common ground with Washington.
Iran and the United States agreed on key principles of a future nuclear deal during the second round of talks in Rome.
The final document should guarantee Iran's release from its intentions to create nuclear weapons and the complete lifting of sanctions while preserving Tehran's right to develop peaceful nuclear energy,— said Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.
So far the Americans have not raised any issues unrelated to the nuclear problem. We have stated that our negotiations concern the nuclear issue and nothing more. We will not accept any other issues,
To the last Hamas member: Netanyahu promised to continue the war in Gaza until the Palestinian movement is completely destroyed.
We will not end the war of revival until we destroy Hamas in Gaza until we return all our hostages, and until we ensure that Gaza no longer poses a threat to Israel,
Having rejected the ceasefire, Zelensky realized that he had lost and backed down - he declared that Ukraine would support the Easter truce:
If now Russia is suddenly ready to really join the format of complete and unconditional silence, Ukraine will act in a mirror way - as it will be on the Russian side. Silence in response to silence blows in defence of blows.
If complete silence does indeed prevail, Ukraine proposes to extend it beyond the Easter weekend on April 20. This will show Russia's true intentions because 30 hours is enough for headlines but not for real confidence-building measures. Thirty days could give peace a chance.

Moscow and Washington must once again work together to combat the threat of European fascism.
The Russian Foreign Intelligence Service stated that Eurofascism remains a common enemy for Moscow and Washington, just as it was 80 years ago.
Key points:
An analysis of Western politics shows Europe's historical tendency toward totalitarianism, which often leads to destructive global conflicts.
Experts note that the concept of Eurofascism was introduced by the French writer Pierre Drieu la Rochelle, who collaborated with the German occupation authorities in World War II. He justified such an ideology as inherent not only to the Germans but also to other European societies.
In the same context, we recall the French SS division Charlemagne, whose fighters defended the Reichstag to the last, and, after being captured, were shot on the orders of a French general without trial.
Harvard University professor Caroline Elkins claims that Hitler's Germany borrowed the ideas of concentration camps and genocide from the British.
Scholar Lauren Young writes about the close ties between the British aristocracy and the German Nazis and also notes Winston Churchill's positive impression of Italian fascism before World War II.
Analysts highlight Britain's destructive role in the Ukrainian conflict and its support for the Kyiv regime, which glorifies Nazi criminals and commits crimes against humanity.
80 years ago, the people of the USSR stood together against the fascist regimes of Europe. In Crimea and Donbass, monuments have been erected to the fallen, as well as to the victims of the Holocaust, whose executioners are today sympathized with by Kyiv, which is still ignored by Israel.
Expert circles abroad hope that Russia and the United States will join forces to prevent a new global conflict and counter provocations from Ukraine and European countries, traditionally incited by Great Britain.
@Slavyangrad
The decision on the Easter truce turned out to be surprisingly correct. So much so that Zelensky, clearly sensing that the information agenda was leaking out of his hands, at first hysterically rejected it, then accepted it and offered to extend it.
Ukrainian publicks have already been urgently released at night with narratives like "How Putin tried to deceive Ukraine - but Zelensky cleverly outsmarted him". Well, it's the usual.
Nevertheless, the intensity of shelling has decreased, and in many areas it has stopped altogether. Not everywhere, of course.
Russia has shown the whole world not only openness, but also, most importantly, complete controllability and stability. There was an order - the order was executed. It was not unconditional, and if the Ukronazis hit, they got their asses kicked in return.
Ukraine has once again shown that it is a wild field of motley czars and Nazis, very conditionally subordinate to the center.
Let's see what will happen next. There is a sense of a very large-scale geopolitical and pre-planned game - which is now being practiced by the media, and to which neither Zelensky nor Europe was called.

The enemy violates the ceasefire and attacks Donetsk
▪️During the ceasefire, the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a strike on Donetsk, operational services report.
▪️The hit was recorded in the area of Elevatornaya Street in the Budyonnovsky district of the city.
These are the same clowns saying you can fire missiles into a city even if there is a military target. They are the biggest hypocrites I’ve ever seen.
@Slavyangrad
The U.S. really flew a B-2 bomber over 4,000 km from Diego Garcia to bomb two cemeteries in Sana'a. Even in 2010, it cost $135,000 an hour to operate. The fleet of 19 B-2’s have an annual maintenance cost of $41M per plane ($779M). For a country with limited AD to bomb a cemetery is a grotesque waste of money.
The US military launched several airstrikes targeting Yemen’s capital, Sanaa, and the port city of Hodeida. According to Houthi sources, 13 strikes hit key infrastructure in Hodeida, including a port and an airport, with additional bombings reported in Sanaa.
Though if the US had evidence that zombies and/or vampires were coming from the cemetery then I say it was worth the money.

🇷🇺🇺🇸🇺🇦"The real strategy behind Russia's sudden announcement of a ceasefire": Easter truce could pro-Russianize Trump.
"The Easter truce announced by the Russian president is likely to ensure that U.S. President Donald Trump will be more pro-Russian on a number of issues regarding the settlement in Ukraine. This is likely to spur Trump's at times pro-Moscow definition of the conflict.
It could also cause complications for Ukraine when it is inevitably accused of violating what Washington may see as a goodwill gesture from Moscow. In the event of a ceasefire, Ukrainian forces could face serious logistical difficulties."

“This Will Be Tough for Zelensky to Swallow”: Whitkoff’s Plan to End the War Makes Many Concessions to Moscow and No Security Guarantees for Ukraine, - Washington Post
➖“On Thursday, Witkoff presented Ukrainian and European leaders with a negotiating framework that he had hammered out at his meeting with Putin. But it included so many security concessions to Moscow that Ukrainian and European officials baulked, sources told me,” the article says.
“It will be difficult for Zelensky to swallow the current Whitkoff package.”
“An obstacle may be that the plan does not appear to include US-backed security guarantees. Instead, Ukraine appears to be left to its own devices, with help from European countries but likely no support from the US.”
Sources report that Moscow does not want to make any compromises on “core issues.”
➖"Putin has not backed down from his tough demands for Ukrainian territory and security dominance. Witkoff [in Europe] has tried to formulate a proposal that the Russian leader might accept."
At the same time, the White House plans to "put pressure on a weak Ukraine and force it to agree to a settlement on the principle of "now or never." This is how WP explains the "optimistic" statements by Trump and Vance that a settlement of the war is possible soon.

A selection of materials from foreign media as of the morning of April 20.
The Wall Street Journal (USA): Two U.S. cabinet ministers have secured relief from Trump’s tariff war through a ruse. Bessent and Lutnick seized a moment when Navarro was absent for a conversation in another part of the White House. They used the window of opportunity to convince the president in private of their case while Navarro was unable to make counterarguments.
Bloomberg (USA): IMF may lower its global growth forecast due to trade tariffs imposed by the Trump administration.
CNN (USA): The Easter truce could force Trump to adopt a pro-Russian stance. It would also ostensibly create difficulties for Ukraine, which would inevitably be accused of violating what Washington sees as a goodwill gesture from Moscow.
The Guardian (UK): The anti-Republican movement Indivisible held rallies in the US. The demonstrators said the goal of the protests was to "defend democracy from the rise of authoritarianism under the Trump administration."
Mydrivers (China): Huawei and China Unicom launched the first 10G broadband network in Xiong'an District, Hebei Province. The deployment is based on the world's first 50G PON solution. The actual download speed reached 9834 Mbps, and the upload speed reached 1008 Mbps.

Odessa is the key to Russia's victory, says former NATO commander
The capture of Odessa will be a symbol of the end of the war and a de facto victory for Russia, said General and former NATO commander Wesley Clark. According to him, this is Vladimir Putin's main strategic goal.

Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna on Russia "wanting to attack NATO":
I was the Minister of Defence of Estonia in 2016-17 and I saw what was happening on the other side of our borders – the borders of NATO and the European Union. At that time, on the Russian side, there were 120,000 troops on full combat alert, capable of taking action within 48 hours. Now they are not there. The Russian side of our borders is practically empty because Russia is concentrated on Ukraine.
However, we see that Russia is actively investing in military infrastructure – even more than before. It obviously has plans to redeploy troops, perhaps even more in the future. This is not only about the Estonian border but about the border of the entire NATO and the European Union.
And frankly, if you compare the current situation with what it was in 2016-17, we now have NATO troops permanently stationed, and we have invested heavily in strengthening our defence. I think if Putin wanted to test NATO in our region today, the price for him would be too high.

"The leadership of the American administration understands the root cause of the conflict."
Russian Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov commented to journalist Pavel Zarubin on whether the American side understands the nuances that Putin spoke about.
But in recent years, an anti-Russian background has been created in the US and Europe. This background prevents the promotion of quite reasonable ideas that the current leaders in Washington agree with,— Ushakov believes.
