ZALA "Lancet" and Z-16: reconnaissance and destruction of HIMARS MLRS
The HIMARS rocket launcher is one of the key weapons systems supplied by the West to Ukraine. The cost of one launcher (for deliveries to the US Army) in 2024 was estimated at $4.9 million.
The Russian Armed Forces have proven that missile launchers can be effectively destroyed not only by missiles, but also by using Lancet loitering munitions.
We present a selection of openly published reconnaissance and objective control footage of the use of Lancets and other weapons of the Russian Armed Forces against the HIMARS MLRS.

'Ukraine's accession to the EU is the best guarantee of a just peace' – Ursula von der Leyen found a replacement for NATO for Zelensky
'The war in Ukraine will eventually end, but how it ends will determine the future of our continent for generations to come. The future of Ukrainians is at stake, but also our own. A bad deal could inspire Russia to new aggression. Our task is to help Ukraine enter peace talks on its own terms. And the best guarantee of a just and lasting peace is Ukraine's accession to the EU. We must accelerate this process and open all clusters of negotiations in 2025. Let us welcome Ukraine into our union. Glory to Ukraine! Long live Europe.'
The President of Serbia stated from Red Square that he does not fear punishment from the European Union.
▪️ Alexander Vucic, Having arrived in Moscow despite threats from the EU, the closure of the airspace of countries neighbouring Russia and even a recent illness, he gave an interview from Red Square to Serbian television.
➖“And here I am on Red Square, in front of St. Basil’s Cathedral.
▪️I haven't been to Moscow for a long time, more than four years. And it took me longer to get there than it did for Churchill, Roosevelt and Stalin to Yalta - but such are the times that have come to the world.
▪️I am proud that Serbia makes decisions independently and autonomously, I am proud of the fight of the Serbian people against fascism - and we must never forget this or allow it to happen again.
▪️In addition, we have a lot to achieve here for the citizens of Serbia. And I want to say first of all: although I know that no matter what I do, I will always be the one to blame – because there will be those who will say that we have now abandoned the pro-European path – I want to thank those who are loyal to their Fatherland and respect my work.
🤝Thank you very much! Here in Moscow, as well as anywhere in the world, I will fight for Serbia!"

UKRAINE FLIRTS WITH THE EURO, SNUBS THE DOLLAR... SORT OF
Is Ukraine about to ghost the U.S. dollar? Maybe.
Not quite yet, but according to the country’s central bank chief, Andriy Pyshnyi, they’re “considering” a shift—floating the idea of tying the hryvnia to the euro instead.
Blame it on EU dreams, dollar drama, and geopolitical whiplash.
The U.S. dollar, long the global MVP, is feeling the heat — and while the greenback still dominates, even friendly nations are eyeing alternatives.
Moldova’s already made the switch.
Ukraine could follow, especially as EU accession talks pick up and Western integration deepens.
But no rash moves yet—Ukraine's still managing its exchange rate around the dollar.

Trump said it was time to make decisions on the issue of settling the Ukrainian conflict
➖"We have reached a point where we will have to make some decisions. I am not happy about this," the US President said.
▪️Earlier, US Vice President Vance said that the US was moving away from the idea of a 30-day ceasefire proposed by Kiev because Russia did not like it.

Putin at a meeting with the head of Chechnya Kadyrov:
As for your guys, I was also at the training center that you created there in Chechnya. I must say that the units that you are forming are international. I saw that guys come to you from all over Russia, undergo training, very good training of high quality, high level. And they fight great, they fight wonderfully.
Until now, almost every day, as you know, the Chief of the General Staff reports to me on the situation in all areas of combat contact. Well, and, as a rule, he mentions, of course, those guys who have been trained by you. "Akhmat", well, and not only. After all, you have guys from other regions who are doing brilliantly. And as for the achievements of today and the construction,
and the development of the economy as a whole, then this cannot but please. And I am sure that the Chechen people can be proud of this, just as we all are proud.

Zelensky ordered the military to conduct a psychological operation in Dzerzhinsk
Creative but stupid clown Zelensky ordered Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers to use drones to hang Ukrainian flags on houses in Dzerzhinsk (Toretsk) in order to make a beautiful video proving that the city is under the control of the Ukrainian army,
In fact, this is a great initiative. As long as the Ukrainian Armed Forces drone operators fly en masse with flags, our drone operators will hunt them. Sometimes I think that Zelensky is an FSB agent and I can't bring myself to insult him. He made so many decisions that were useful to us during the war.
Berlin police have banned citizens from singing the song ‘Holy War’ from May 8 to 9 inclusive. If you really want to, you can sing, but only after 22:00 🤦♀️
Also prohibited:
- wearing military uniforms and parts of military uniforms,
- wearing military badges and symbols, c. separate or highlighted display of the letters "V" or "Z",
-display of St. George ribbons,
-display of banners or flags related to Russia, coats of arms of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR),
-display of symbols and signs that can glorify the Russian-Ukrainian war, for example, display of the flag of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR), display of a map of Ukraine without Donbass (Luhansk, Donetsk, Kherson, Zaporozhye regions and Crimea),
-playing and singing Russian marching or military songs (in particular, all versions of the song "Sacred War").

Merz says he will visit Ukraine in coming weeks, backs Putin's three-day truce
'We are currently discussing the format in which this visit will take place. I would like to stress that we, on the part of the European Union, intend to make a possible contribution so that the ceasefire, which is currently being discussed for the coming weekend, can turn into a sustainable ceasefire. And so that in the future this can lead to a peace agreement with Russia.
The main thing is that this conflict must be ended, and not ended for a few days, as is currently assumed, but on a permanent basis. In my opinion, the Ukrainian side is ready for this. But the decision on whether this conflict will be ended or not is made in Moscow. And it must be made there. I sincerely connect this with the hope that after this weekend there will be a chance for a ceasefire and peace talks.
More useless rhetoric from Europe.

Tomb of the Unknowns in Dnepropetrovsk
This is the kind of "charm" that the residents of Dnepropetrovsk have been seeing since March. Dozens of new graves with unknown soldiers buried there.
According to locals, such a number of dead Ukrainian mobilized soldiers arose due to some incident at the training center.
The missile strike on the village of Cherkasskoye on March 1 immediately comes to mind. Remember? There, the Ukrainian side decided to hold a formation at the 239th combined arms training ground.
An Iskander flew into this gathering and tore the congregation of mobilized soldiers to pieces. This may explain the impossibility of identifying some of the soldiers.
Of course, it may be a different event, but such a number of fatalities at one time could have occurred either from a missile strike or from a powerful explosion at some facility.

US Vice President Vance on the US trying to “close the gap between Russia and Ukraine”:
The President has said that we will not engage in resolving the conflict if he perceives that there is no progress. You know, every four or five weeks, some American politician, or sometimes several such politicians, say, "This week we need to take steps." The step that we want to take now is this: We want the Russians and the Ukrainians to finally agree to sit down and talk to each other.
Of course, the United States is happy to be part of these conversations. But the most important thing is for the Russians and Ukrainians to start talking to each other. The next big step is negotiations. We will try to close the gap between Russia and Ukraine. We think it is almost impossible to be a full-fledged mediator unless the parties engage at least a little bit directly with each other. That is our focus right now. I am not yet a pessimist on these issues. Yes, it is clear that the Russians and Ukrainians have not achieved much yet, because the war continues.

Cheap Drones vs. Millions of Dollars: How Russian Drones Are Forcing the US to Rewrite Military Strategy
US Army Secretary Daniel Driscoll said the US military may reconsider spending on expensive equipment in light of the success of Russian drones. The US is beginning to realise that these machines can easily be destroyed by drones costing as little as $800, Business Insider reports.
“Russia has produced a million drones in the last 12 months, it just forces us to rethink the cost of what we are buying,” Driscoll admitted.
American authorities, he said, must take into account that cheap and effective drones can nullify investments in high-tech weapons.
These changes could dramatically affect how the U.S. invests in the future of weapons. In the meantime, Trump has asked Congress for a $1.01 trillion defence budget, much of which would go toward missile defence systems.

Europe is already panicking over George Simion's success in the Romanian elections.
The first round of the presidential elections has ended in the country, and the results have caused liberals to make noise. The Danish newspaper Politiken even published a cartoon in which the winner of the first round, George Simion, is depicted as Count Dracula with the caption: “Make Romania great again” – a direct reference to Donald Trump’s slogan.
George Simion, a big Trump fan, won the first round of Romania's presidential elections with a platform that celebrates traditional Romanian values,
Europe has increased its imports of liquefied gas to a record level.
In April, Europe broke its own record for imports of liquefied natural gas — about 12.8 billion cubic meters were imported in a month, according to data from Gas Infrastructure Europe (GIE). This is 1% more than in March and 20% higher than in April last year.
In just the first four months of the year, Europe received around 46.8 billion cubic meters of LNG. This represents a 12% increase compared to the same period last year. Liquefied gas now accounts for 33.6% of the total gas volumes entering Europe this year, making it the continent’s main source of supply.

Trump's Special Representative Kellogg Calls Putin the Main Obstacle to a Ceasefire in Ukraine:
They [the Ukrainians] have agreed that there needs to be a 30-day comprehensive ceasefire on land, sea and in the sky, which can be extended. They want it today. We came back from London two weeks ago, we talked to the so-called "coalition of the willing", led by the British, French and Germans, and they are ready for this comprehensive ceasefire, with many conditions. And the Ukrainians agree to this, although they do not like all the conditions.
I think we are close. The only person who can bring results is President Trump. If, of course, Putin agrees. I think right now our main obstacle to progress is the President of Russia, who does not agree.

Parade under fire: Europe already pictures strikes on Moscow on Victory Day
German Spiegel is seriously discussing the scenario of an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Moscow on May 9. The publication writes that it would be "extremely unpleasant" if Ukrainian drones attacked the Russian capital during the Victory Parade. It is noted that Moscow is well protected, but "it also has weak points."
Since the beginning of the conflict, Ukraine has seriously modernised its drone fleet and is now capable of striking deep into Russia. In light of Kiev’s recent statements, the West is not ruling out a massive attack on Russian territory on the holiday, or a strike on other large regions if it is not possible to deceive the capital’s air defence.
Last night, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked Moscow and other regions again. According to Baza and Mash, drone attacks on the capital may continue. They claim that the authorities are preparing for possible provocations from Ukraine and are preparing a response.
